He’s Rich’s new artist and people are talking, so they just ran with it,” the source explained to BOSSIP as to why Chyna told the paps she and Jay were an item. Can’t buy better publicity if you ask us. How many folks even heard of ABN Almighty Jay before the Chyna rumors last week? As for Rich and Chyna, our source didn’t divulge any further details about how long they’ve been getting it in, but if he can live up to his name, all bets are on her keeping him around for awhile. David Richards/MJP Paparazzi TV Personality Bevy Smith Among Honorees At Swank Harlem Gala Uptown’s finest showed up and showed out at the fifth annual Harlem Haberdashery’s Masquerade Ball. More than 300 people packed the Riverside Church of New York City for the event, which benefits benefitted the non-profit #TakeCareOfHarlem, which works in the Harlem community to provide resources to the underserved. David Richards/MJP Paparazzi This year’s theme was “A Royal Ball in Harlem,” and the ball honored “Page Six TV’s” Bevy Smith, Margarette Purvis of the Food Bank for New York City and Michael J. Garner of100 Black Men. Although Smith couldn’t make it because she was covering the Oscars in L.A., she sent a message of thanks. And in their acceptance speeches, fellow honorees Purvis and Garner talked about what Harlem meant to them. Sponsor Crown Royal later surprised #TakeCareOfHarlem founder Kells Barnett with a $5,000 donation to support the group’s programs and services. Hit the flip for more pics from the gala:

Dutchess Has A Surprise Birthday Party In Charlotte Happy Birthday Dutchess ! The tattoo artist beauty was surprised with very special birthday party on Saturday night, planned by Charity Luv (@charityLuv) Decor and designed by Celebrity Millennium Event Planner (@courtneyajinca). To put it mildly, the event was everything imaginable. Dutchess was surprised for her birthday with a themed Masquerade party at 7th Restaurant in Charlotte, North Carolina. The event was magical and included aerial dancers, soul food, drinks and flowers galore. Flowers were provided by Designs By Devereux (@designsbydevereux) and Laced in Vinyl Shoppe (@lacedvinylshoppe) created the custom dance floor.
