This is for you brothers out there who think it’s cool to sag and wear your trousers in a hip-hop fashion. We don’t understand how sagging cost S.C., so this is obviously a bill that will give the pigs a reason to put “black guys” and those that want to bite their style up in the system. Or nah? This week, for a special segment on forgiveness Megyn Kelly sat down with a white former police officer and one of the black men he framed, resulting in a ten-year sentence for drug dealing. Watch below: Here are the basics: Andrew Collins started falsifying warrants and police reports while working at the Benton Harbor Police Department. Three years later, while on the job, Collins mistakenly accused Jameel McGee of dealing drugs. Collins tailored police report falsely stating McGee was in possession of drugs and the man was convicted and sentenced to 10 years in jail. Three years into his sentence, McGee discovered Collins had been arrested. Collins told Kelly that he was “called to” reconcile with McGee after coincidentally meeting him in a park. “How did you get past the point of ‘Oh, no,’ to now they call each other brothers?” Kelly asked McGee. McGee suggested God had brought the two men together: “I know it wasn’t my doing.” “It was the Lord,” Kelly insisted. “It took years to get to this point,” McGee noted. Collins said that he had also been able to forgive himself after years of being a dirty cop. “Because I can’t walk through what God has for me if I’m going to keep myself in a prison of my past,” Collins opined. “And we also realized that God saved this story for a very unique time in our country. You know, you see a black man who was innocent, completely innocent, framed by a white police officer.” In 2011, after finally forming a friendship, Collins and McGee wrote their book, Convicted: A Crooked Cop, An Innocent Man And An Unlikely Journey of Forgiveness. Does this interview help change your opinion about Megyn Kelly?
Splash News Erasing Racism: Betty Shelby Has Terence Crutcher’s Fatal Shooting Expunged From Her Record FDB! Seriously. Terence Crutcher is dead, but the fatal shooting that claimed his life won’t even show up as part of Betty Shelby’s record. District Judge William LaFortune ruled Wednesday to allow for the first-degree manslaughter case brought against former Oklahoma police officer Betty Shelby to be removed from her record after she asked that it be expunged, NBC BLK reports. LaFortune has ordered that all documents connected to Shelby’s case be sealed and kept with the court, where they’ll only be accessible through court order. State law also allows that the documents can be destroyed after 10 years. While government and law enforcement would still have access to the record because Shelby would likely disclose it on job applications, other agencies wil not be able to find the case in a background search according to Shelby’s defense attorney, Shannon McMurray. “This crime does not exist for employment application purposes,” McMurray said, saying that it was important for Shelby “to have that smear on her name removed from public view.” “Like any other citizen who is acquitted, Betty Jo Shelby was entitled to have her record sealed and expunged,” the attorney said. “Betty … continues to work to try and serve her community and prays for everyone’s continued healing.” Shelby petitioned for her record to be expunged after her acquittal earlier this year for the September 2016 killing of 40-year-old Terence Crutcher. You may recall, Crutcher’s SUV was stopped in the middle of the street when he was approached by Shelby, who claimed during her trial that she was scared because he appeared to be under the influence of drugs, didn’t obey her commands and looked like he was reaching into his vehicle. You probably also may recall the footage of Crutcher from the patrol car dashboard adn police helicopter that showed him with his hands in the air. Shelby went back on administrative duty with the force after being reinstated two days after her acquittal. She resigned in July, saying she felt isolated from other police officers and was later worn in as a reserve sheriff’s deputy in nearby Rogers County. If only this case didn’t fit so neatly fit the narrative of an America constantly striving to preserve the purity of white women.

“Once upon a time there were three beautiful sisters with little discernible talent and one well-groomed, overly ambitious mother who, at one time wanted to be an actress herself,” begins The Huffington Post. “The Mama made a promise to her daughters that they would be ‘rich, famous and marry kings.” … read more
An obese Elisabeth Cannon was released on 12K bail after shooting and killing 15-year-old Vernon Marcus Jr on Monday in Georgia. Cannon says the boy and his friends threw rocks and caused “dings” to the outside of her home. The boy was walking past Cannon’s house when he was shot and killed. At her arraignment, Cannon says the shooting was in self-defense and she is not an “evil person,” although she’s been known to talk about “bad blacks.” Witnesses and neighbors say Cannon has used “racial slurs” about black folks before. Cannon also said the bad black kids would “glare at her.” Right, sounds like a bullsh*t excuse to shoot a kid…but he’s black so we will see how this pans out.
