During her match against Bianca Andreescu, a back injury got the best of her and prevented her from finishing the match. Andreescu is now the first Canadian to win the Rogers Cup in 50 years. “It started yesterday in my match. Email Submit After Williams withdrew from the game she broke down in tears. “I’m not a crier, but, thank you guys,” Williams said through her tears. “I’m sorry I couldn’t do it today. I tried but I just couldn’t do it.” The 23-time Grand Slam winner was only able to last 16 minutes in the match but her opponent came by her side to give her props through the tears. “I watched you your whole career. You’re a f–king beast.” Serena Williams had to retire from the Rogers Cup with an injury, and her opponent Bianca Andreescu came over to comfort her. Source: Jun Sato / Getty The executives over at FOX have revealed how they will have Jussie Smollett ’s character make a smooth exit from the series Empire. “He’s on his honeymoon,” entertainment president Michael Thorn told The Wrap at the Television Critics Association press tour. “He’s on his honeymoon and working on some projects abroad… that’s how we hear about him at the beginning of the season.” Thorn added that they have already started shooting the episodes for the final season and the writers haven’t decided what else will be added to Jamal’s story. Smollett was fired from the FOX series after he was accused of staging a hate crime against himself, recruiting two people who he had worked with and paid for fitness services to be a part of the scheme. Smollett had even did an interview with where he described the alleged attack in detail and even dubbed himself “the gay Tupac” after he “survived” the ordeal. After his investigation played out in the media, Smollett became a casuality of the cancel culture. While some celebs and fans stood with him, many others poked fun at him (i.e Chris Rock at the NAACP Image Awards ) and dismissed him. Smollett has been lowkey since the scandal has died down. Now the juicy part is, Miley and Kaitlynn recently took a little boat trip with some friends near Lake Como in Italy, and photos caught the pair sneaking some kisses . It’s possible these weren’t some buddy-buddy pecks either, considering Miley has said before that she’s “very sexually attracted to women.” Photos on Kaitlynn’s Instagram definitely show that the two are pretty tight. Pamela Long from 90’s singing group Total tells The Neighborhood Talk that she believes her ex-husband Jamie Long preyed with on Cyntoia for attention. Long claims to be a ”Christian rapper”, and formerly a band member in the group Pretty Ricky (have ya’ll ever heard of him???). Well, apparently he and Cyntoia are a married couple. Ashley Iaconetti and Jared Haibon have officially gone from paradise to perpetual bliss. So the semi-famous couple hopes, at least. The Bachelor in Paradise alums exchanged vows on Sunday evening in Rhode Island, People Magazine and other outlets have now confirmed, with Iaconetti speaking to this publication about the occasion and saying the following: “We freakishly agreed on everything. Growing up we had the exact same vision of our wedding, [doing] it as grandiose as it has become.” Added Haibon, whose dog Clark served as the precious and beyond adorable ring bearer: “We’re so accustomed to being together, and living together, that marriage is the obvious next step!” Among other beloved/well-known members of Bachelor Nation, People writes that Nick Viall, Dean Unglert and couple Jason Tartick and Kaitlyn Bristowe were in attendance at the event. It’s certainly been quite the journey for these two reality stars. Viewers met Iaconetti on Chris Soules’ season of The Bachelor … and then were introduced to Haibon on Kaitlyn Bristowe’s season of The Bachelorette. Both suitors advanced pretty far in their quest at those times to find a soulmate, but neither earned the final rose. However, they refused to give up on love and/or fame, appearing on the second season of Bachelor in Paradise. They did go on a date during this run of episode, only for Haibon to dump Iaconetti. who made it very clear during their initial time together that she was totally smitten with Jared. In case you didn’t know, the “delivert” internet star was arrested over the weekend in St. Louis. BlackAmericaWeb reports that Caldwell was taken into the St. Louis City Justice Center at 1 AM for a few warrants, including speeding and failing to appear in court. After being released, Caldwell said on social media that he was followed by a man he didn’t know who followed him and attacked him outside a hospital. The man allegedly tried to rob him and punched him in the face. Caldwell then “defended himself” and busted out the man’s car windows. Caldwell also took offense to people calling him a “jailbird” and “Andrew Smollett” and he ranted on IG.
