Man Strangles His Sister To Death After An Argument Over The Wifi Password

According to Fox 8 , a Georgia teen was just sentenced to life in prison after being found guilty in the strangling death of his sister during a fight over a wifi password. Kevon Watkins, 18, was allegedly arguing with his mom about the internet at their home. Watkins, who was then 16, reportedly changed the password so he could play video games without others using the internet. Watkins and his sister, Alexus Breanna Watkins (22) began to fight and their mother called for help when she couldn’t separate them. He didn’t remove the hold until police commanded him to and it was then that authorities noticed her body was lifeless. She was pronounced dead at the local hospital. Watkins waived his right to a jury trial and chose to have a Bibb County judge hear testimony. He was found guilty of felony murder. Awkward: Chance The Rapper Gets Beat Out By Another Anointed Rapper On Billboard Chart

Source: Gary Miller / Getty Chance The Rapper Takes No. 2 Spot On Billboard 200 Chart Chance the Rapper is known for his spiritual and gospel infused music and in many cases, his ideas have resulted in success. But now, it seems like his recent debut album The Big Day isn’t receiving the same acclaim. Along with lukewarm reviews , Chance also couldn’t make the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 Chart. ANOTHER Christian-leaning rapper did, however. According to Billboard, rapper NF scored his second No. 1 album thanks to his release The Search. The project released on July 26, brought in the equivalent of  130,000 album units in the U.S. in the week ending in August 1. Chance’s The Big Day came in at number two with 108,000 equivalent album units earned. Eighty thousand of those streams were via streaming, making his release the most streamed of the week. The Bid Day is also Chance’s highest charting album yet. So Chance does have some wins this week, but considering the buzz he’s built over the years, it still surprising that he did’t take the number one spot. His second place might have been avoided with more promotion and single releases before the album dropped. Chance basically just made a random announcement on Jimmy Fallon and that’s how people knew about the album, although he made mention of it as early as February . Anywho, Chance is still winning in a lot of ways and maybe the album might gain more steam in the coming weeks…if we can get a single, a music video, anything . We’ll keep you posted.

J. Cole’s Suspect Lyric Removed From ‘Jodeci Freestyle’ on Drake’s ‘Care Package’

Source: Noah Graham / Getty On Friday (August 2) Drake released a multitude of hits that never made it to the streaming services by way of a project aptly titled Care Package . In it features a cut with J. Cole called Jodeci Freestyle  that ends with a harsh lyric that prompted an online petition to surface back when the track originally dropped. That petition garnered nearly 4500 signatures. Here’s the un-edited version below: The controversial lyric comes on Cole’s verse near the very end, “Go check the numbers, dummy, that’s just me gettin’ started/ I’m artistic, you n—as is autistic, retarded.” The second part of the bar is completely muted, and the beat continues to just carry on. Some people argue that it sounds more awkward than had they just left it alone. The two emcee’s were forced to acknowledge and apologize for those words. J. Cole by way of a blog post , while Drake spread his message through in OVO announcement .
