Teresa Giudice Wants You to Pray for Her Awful Husband

Joe Giudice has left on a jet plane. And, really, truly… he has no idea when he’ll be back again. If ever. As previously reported, the admitted criminal — who pleaded guilty in 2016 to multiple counts of financial fraud and recently completed his stint on prison — has finally been released from Immigration and Customs Enforcement custody. But only under one condition: That he return to his native country of Italy. As loyal fans of The Real Housewives of New Jersey likely know by now, the veteran reality star was ordered out of the country by a judge in late 2018. Despite moving to the United States when he was a child, Joe never became an American citizen and then he committed a federal crime — so there you go. That’s how the system works; one must then be deported. Joe is waiting for his latest appeal of the ruling to be heard, and there’s still a chance the deportation decree gets overruled. But it’s a small chance — and Joe must reside in Italy while his case makes its way through the system. “He is en route to Italy right now. He spoke to [wife] Teresa and [daughter] Gia from the plane and he is extremely happy to be released, more than words can describe,” Joe’s attorney, James J. Leonard Jr., said in a statement on Friday. Shortly afterward, Teresa published a ridiculous photo on Instagram: Yes, this is a picture of the Statue of Liberty shielding her eyes… presumably because it’s SUCH a grave injustice that a mega-wealthy white person who confessed to breaking the law is being sent back to his first-world home country. Please, someone go break out a bunch of violins. Teresa captioned the picture with a string of the praying hands emoji. “We are still fighting and it is his desire to return home to the United States to be reunited with his family,” Leonard’s statement continued. Joe and Teresa are parents to four daughters (Gia, 18, Gabriella, 15, Milania, 14, and Audriana, 10) and it’s absolutely terrible that they won’t have their dad around for the foreseeable future. But he still sucks as a human being. Gia, meanwhile, shared a photo of herself FaceTiming with her father after his release on Friday, October 11. “One of the happiest moments of my life!” she captioned the Snapchat post on Saturday, October 12. “Love you so much daddy, so happy your [sic] free! See you so soon.” It’s pretty evident by this image that Joe has lost a lot of weight, which is not stunning for someone who spent several months behind bars. Take a look at the photo in question here: As for his future with Teresa? It’s a bleak one. By all accounts, Teresa will be ending her marriage regardless of what happens with Joe going forward. “I’m not doing a long distance relationship. I’m not doing it,” Teresa told Andy Cohen in March . “I want somebody with me every day.” “I know exactly what happens — I’m sure he’ll be with other women. It happens,” Teresa added at the time, looking ahead to a future of her in America and Joe abroad and concluding: “You do the long-distance thing, it’s not going to work. I’d be like, ‘Bye bye.’”

Bronx-Bred Creative Tyson Hall Uses Art As A Means For Activism

The rest is here:

B lack artists often find themselves fighting for a seat at the table when it comes to having their work featured in exhibitions at renowned art institutions. According to a study conducted by Art News , less than three percent of museum acquisitions over the past ten years have been pieces created by African American artists. Despite the exclusion from mainstream galleries and museums, they are forging paths of their own, carving out spaces where they can share their artistry with the world, and using their work as a means for social and political activism. Bronx-bred visual artist and actor Tyson Hall is one of the individuals a part of a modern-day renaissance of Black artists who are reclaiming their space in the art industry and utilizing their work to uplift and empower their communities. Hall says his passion for activism runs deep. He was born in Washington Heights, New York across the street from the Audubon Ballroom where civil rights leader Malcolm X was murdered. The activist’s impact would later influence pieces of Hall’s work that echoed his messages of Black unity and the power of Black economics; pieces that were created decades after Malcolm X’s untimely death but are still relevant with today’s social and political climate. Hall—who came of age in the Bronx during the birth of hip-hop—has also pulled inspiration from the music genre throughout his career. His first art form was graffiti and then he decided to transition his canvases from MTA trains to sketchbooks. Hall was inspired by the political messages behind the music from groups like Public Enemy and how music mogul Sean Combs remixed soulful tracks from legends like James Brown to introduce that era of music to a new generation. He says incorporating the teachings of Black leaders from the past in his artwork to uplift and inspire the next generation of creatives is something that he strives to do through his work. It was the 1996 film Basquiat that drew him closer to the idea of using art as a form of activism. “Throughout my career, I’ve taken a lot of what our ancestors have said and done and remixed those voices through visual artistic expression,” Hall told NewsOne. “I did a series titled Buy Black where one piece, in particular, had four panels that read “Buy Black” and as you go down each panel it starts to disseminate. It was representative of the short life span of a dollar within the Black community and how we should do more to support each other.” Despite the powerful messages displayed through his art, Hall says one of the most challenging parts of being a Black artist is getting his work placed in galleries and museums. Instead of waiting for these art institutions to give him an opportunity, Hall has developed his own and has created spaces for his work. His pieces are on the walls at Harlem restaurants including Angel of Harlem and Corner Social and he has donated his work for auction to charities that include The Jackie Robinson Foundation, Abyssinian Baptist Church, the MOCADA Museum, and the ARRC. Going beyond the canvas, Hall uses acting as a form of artistry. His acting credits include Paid in Full , American Gangster , and Godfather of Harlem . He does motivational speaking as an avenue to empower inner-city children to use art as a means for change. He’s also developing a platform called SOL (Solidifying Our Legacy) Media Plus which is dedicated to educating, empowering, and connecting the creative community. As far as his advice for emerging Black artists, he says to “lock in and identify with your purpose as an artist to push forward.” SEE ALSO: Issa Rae Invests In Black Woman-Led Tech Startup Diddy Donates $1M To Fund New Bronx Charter School [ione_media_gallery src=”https://newsone.com” id=”3888948″ overlay=”true”]

Maddison Brown: Who is Liam Hemsworth’s Hot New Squeeze?

Liam Hemsworth appears to have recovered from the recent wrecking ball that smashed his marriage to bits. About two months after the actor and Miley Cyrus pulled the plug on their union, the former has been spotted out for the first time with someone new. Someone new who is a female with whom he’s likely sleeping, that is. Photos have emerged online of Hemsworth holding hands with Maddison Brown, who’s a 22-year old actress likely best known for her current role on The CW’s mediocre drama Dynasty. They were seen having a meal at Sant Ambroeus in the West Village before going on a stroll down the New York City sidewalk. Hemsworth, of course, dated Cyrus off and on for about 10 years, prior to taking observers by surprise when he tied the knot with this superstar late last year in Tennessee. They separated eight months later. Cyrus went straight from Hemsworth into the arms of Kaitlynn Carter and is now dating Cody Simpson . She and her fellow artist and openly kissing and snuggling on Instagram these days. Hemsworth, however, hasn’t said much about his failed relationship with Cyrus and likely won’t be issuing any statements about Brown any time soon, either. But we’ve learned via the Internet that Brown is an Australian transplant who stars on the aforementioned CW reboot as Kirby Anders, the daughter of the main family’s chief steward. The character returns after being sent away and framed for arson as a child. She made her debut in the second season and is set to feature in the third. Here is a photo of Brown from the show: The actress’s only other television credit came in 2016, when she portrayed the younger version of Elizabeth Debicki’s character in the Australian show The Kettering Incident. Brown’s only movie credit so far is 2015’s Strangerland, in which she played Nicole Kidman‘s daughter. She told Women’s Wear Daily of working with the Oscar winner: “I was nervous but she was so warm and lovely. Nicole is someone who wants to nurture and support young actors and it was such a relief to be able to connect with her in a real way. “I’ve heard stories about more established actors not taking too kindly to young talent, but with Nicole, it was nothing like that.” Brown also works as a model and often posts shots of her campaigns on Instagram, where she has garnered over 450,000 followers. She’s modeled for brands such as Calvin Klein, Jason Wu and Marchesa. It’s not clear whether Liam and Maddison are truly serious or merely spending naked time together. Could just be a casual fling, you know? For his part, Hemsworth has only addressed the Miley breakup on one occasion: with an Instagram post after the two had ended their marriage. He officially filed for divorce from the singer just days later. “Hi all, Just a quick note to say that Miley and I have recently separated and I wish her nothing but health and happiness going forward,” Liam captioned a shot of a beach sunset this summer. We wish him the best.

Amber Portwood Returns to Instagram, Swears She’s Not a Sociopath

The last time we heard Amber Portwood's voice, she was threatening to straight up murder Andrew Glennon . Just over a month ago, multiple videos recorded by Glennon hit the Internet, creating quite an uproar because they seemed to depict Portwood as a violent, malicious, dangerous mental case who had no respect at all for her boyfriend or, really, for her young son, either. Seriously, these videos are disturbing . Amber said nothing at all about them in the weeks since they went viral, but she did then return to Instagram Live around 4:30 a.m. Indianapolis time on Friday, October 11. She touched on MANY subjects in the process. Scroll down for a rundown of her session: 1. Did Portwood Just Go Off on Andrew Here? Not really, either. She was rather subdued, perhaps because her lawyers have told the reality star that she simply has to lay low and can’t risk further legal repercussions by feuding with Glennon in public. 2. When Had We Last Heard from Amber? On September 2, she posted a photo of son James and wrote as a caption: “Love you and see you soon little bubba.” 3. Is She Allowed to See James These Days? Yes, under the supervision of a court-appointed adult. We do not know the last time Amber spent time with her son, however. 4. As a Refresher: She was arrested on July 5 for allegedly attacking Glennon after a domestic dispute turned physical. She has admitted to throwing a shoe at him, but denied charges of using a machete to try and break down the bathroom door behind which he was hiding with James. 5. Since Then? Glennon has defended himself as a boyfriend and a father and tried to make it clear to everyone just how unstable Amber has been for a very long time now. Portwood, meanwhile, hasn’t said a whole lot as she awaits her next court hearing. 6. Let’s Cue Up the Instagram Live in That Case! “I’m laying low, guys, until I’m able to speak. I’m laying low,” Amber said early in this session, before talking about how hard it’s been to stay off social media, per the orders of her legal team. View Slideshow

Tekashi69 Signs $10 Million Record Deal From Behind Bars

We’ve got to hand it to Tekashi 69. Many celebrities have been imprisoned over the years, but very few have managed to remain this relevant while serving their sentences. Of course, that relevance is likely to get Tekashi stabbed the second he walks out of protective custody, but hey — bad press is better than no press, right? Actually, whoever came up with that saying probably would have agreed to the addendum “unless that bad press is likely to get you straight-up murdered.” Anyway, as you’ve probably heard, Tekashi recently took the stand and testified against two members of his former gang, the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods. As their name indicates, the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods are not a group that you want to piss off, but Tekashi — real name, Daniel Hernandez — likely felt that he had little choice. When Hernandez was arrested for a laundry list of crimes last year, it initially looked as though he might remain behind bars for the rest of his life. But thanks to his testimony — which led to the convictions of Anthony “Harv” Ellison and Aljermiah “Nuke” Mack  — Mr. 69 could be a free man as early as next month. When he first started snitching, it was widely assumed that Tekashi would enter witness protection upon his release. Now, however, it seems the rapper has no intention of disappearing. In fact, he’s reportedly planning on becoming more famous than ever. According to TMZ, Tekashi has already sold the movie rights  for his tory to fellow hip hop artist 50 Cent. And that’s not the only wheeling and dealing Hernandez did from his cell this week. Multiple outlets have now confirmed that Tekashi has signed a deal with his old record label, 10K Projects, that’s reportedly worth more $10 million. While the exact terms of the agreement are under wraps, insiders claim the 69 has promised several projects to the label and plans to get to work immediately upon his release. Obviously, the guy has a lot to celebrate these days. But he has also many reasons to be fearful. Even if he’s safe from violent retaliation, as he clearly believes, Tekashi’s career might be over as a result of his decision to turn state’s witness. After all, credibility is king in the world of hip hop, and it seems unlikely that the record-buying public will rush to embrace a known snitch.

#JusticeForJunior: Five Gang Members Receive Life Sentences In Lesandro ‘Junior’ Guzman-Feliz’s Murder

Source: Andrew Lichtenstein / Getty Five Gang Members Receive Life Sentences in ‘Junior’ Guzman-Feliz’s Murder It looks like #JusticeForJunior is finally being served. Today, five members of the Trinitarios gang were handed lengthy prison sentences for the murder of Lesandro “Junior” Guzman-Feliz , the 15-year-old who was attacked outside of a bodega in the Bronx back in 2018. According to the reports from the New York Times , 19-year-old Manuel Rivera was sentenced to 23 years to life prison, while his co-defendants—Antonio Rodriguez Hernandez Santiago, 25; Jose Muniz, 23; and Elvin Garcia, 25—all received 25 years to life. 25-year-old Jonaiki Martinez Estrella was handed the heaviest sentence (life in prison without parole) as the one who allegedly plunged a knife into Guzman-Feliz’s neck and ultimately killed him. The announcement of these sentences comes nearly four months after the five gang members were found guilty of first-degree murder, second-degree murder, second-degree conspiracy, and second-degree gang assault. As of now, according to reports from The Times , eight other defendants are still awaiting trial. On June 20, 2018, surveillance video captured Feliz-Guzman running into a bodega in the Bronx. He was followed by five men who ended up dragged him out of the shop and onto to the sidewalk, where others were waiting. Security cameras from nearby buildings captured them attacking the 15-year-old, stabbing him with small knives and machetes. After the gang members fled the scene, Junior managed to get to the nearby St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced dead only minutes after arriving. According to law enforcement, the attackers had mistaken Feliz-Guzman for a rival gang member.
