Source: Cindy Ord / Getty Jhené Aiko’s “Triggered (Freestyle)” Gets The Remix Treatment Jhené Aiko has blessed us with another installment of her track, “Triggered (freestyle).” The new remix features a little help from 21 Savage and Summer Walker, who both follow Aiko’s lead in talking about their failed relationships. The songstress originally dropped “Triggered” back in May before also released a video for the song. Back in June, the world learned that Lisa Vanderpump is not returning to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills . Sarah Paulson, first-rate actress and Real Housewives superfan, has something to say about it. Not only will she not miss Lisa on the show, but she had her own encounter with the SUR owner that cemented her opinion. To explain the set-up that you will see in the video that we have included, Sarah Paulson sat down for a lie-detector test. In the video for Vanity Fair , she sits down with a serious-sounding interrogation on her life, her career, and her pop culture interests. One should note that lie detector tests detect stress indicators, not lies, and are so bogus that results aren't admissible in court. One should also note that a “real” test would involve simple answers, mostly “yes” or “no.” But this is all in good fun. Until, that is, Sarah is asked about the franchise that she so openly adores — the Real Housewives . Sarah is asked if she'll miss Lisa Vanderpump now that she has departed from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills . “Um, you know, I don’t want her coming after me on Twitter,” Sarah admits, which already tells you her answer. “But,” she continues. “I won’t miss her.” “I miss the dynamic she brings to the group,” Sarah acknowledges. She clarifies: “Which is, you know, the fear of God she instills in everyone.” “But no, I won’t miss her,” Sarah continues. Don't worry, folks — she explains precisely why. “I met her once at a party,” the acclaimed actress reveals. “She wasn’t that nice to me,” Sarah admits. “Am I going to get in trouble for that?” she asks. “She wasn’t that nice!” Sarah was also asked if she thinks that The Real Housewives of New York City will crumble and fail without Bethenny Frankel . “I think the star of The Real Housewives is the franchise itself,” Sarah opines. “So,” she predicts. “I think [ RHONY ] will survive without her.” “Although I personally will miss her,” Sarah admits. She then adds: “I’d like them to bring back Jill Zarin, though.” So, if Sarah's acting career were to go sideways, would she want to be a Real Housewife? Of course. But where? “New York,” Sarah answers. “New York is my number one.” “It’s my OG, as the kids say,” she adds. She even knows her tagline. Kate and Toby were at the center of This Is Us Season 4 Episode 2. And so was their son, Jack, which is where the problems between the couple arose. We’ll start with this: A clearly thinner Toby simply could not hide his anxiety over the baby boy’s diagnosis of blindness on this installment of the NBC drama. The family remarked on Toby’s weight loss, which he attributed to stress and stress only. Kate, for her part, appeared to be holding things together and also appeared to be unshaken by any new developments. The husband and wife did get plenty support from Kevin, Rebecca, Miguel and Madison as they navigated the ins and outs of parenting a child who cannot see. Kate eventually lost it when she thought about Jack never getting to see a Pittsburgh Steelers game — and she wondered whether his condition was her fault because doctors warned her not to get pregnant. However, she regained her inner strength once she decided that he would live a limitless life… with the Pearsons’ assistance. She was still struggling, though. Could anyone blame her? Toby noted that Kate was overeating to cope and that he was worried about her, while he was secretly sneaking to the gym to work out and slim down. Elsewhere… Kevin also attempted to remain busy to maintain his sobriety. He helped Kate and Toby… went to Alcoholics Anonymous meetings… wrapped a new film with M. Night Shyamalan … and considered a job offer in Chicago. However, he could not stop thinking about Nicky (Griffin Dunne), who totally ghosted him after Kevin wired him bail money. Instead of heading to Illinois to take a meeting about a new movie, Kevin traveled to Nicky’s trailer to figure out what was up with him. Tess (Eris Baker) and Deja (Lyric Ross) wanted to express their independence, naturally, by getting a kinda crazy haircut and riding the city bus to school alone, respectively — but their parents hesitated. Ultimately, they caved as viewers discovered that Deja’s route passed by Malik’s auto shop and she had been flirting with him via text message. Finally… In flashbacks, Jack, Rebecca and the Big Three went to the pool, yet it was nothing like their Season 1 trip. Unfortunately. The children were about to begin seventh grade and were not into hanging with their mom and dad. Kevin and Randall argued over their less than brotherly treatment of each other… and Kate kissed a boy after falling prey to a prank by popular girls. This Is Us airs on NBC Tuesdays at 9/8c.
Kailyn Lowry seems to make a genuine effort to get along with her baby daddies. But there's a difference between being friendly and what Javi Marroquin wanted her to do at this year's Teen Mom 2 reunion taping. Now, we already knew that Javi cheated on his fiancee, Lauren Comeau . What we didn't know until now was that he (allegedly) tried to hook up with Kailyn Lowry behind her back. We're guessing Lauren is having second thoughts about giving her man another chance right about now! Take a look: 1. Handsy Javi Kail and Javi have hooked up several times since ending their marriage back in 2016. And clearly, it’s an arrangement he thought would continue … 2. He Was Wrong The problem with that, of course, is that Javi is engaged to Lauren Comeau. And as far as we know, the couple is not in an open relationship. 3. I couldn’t be more excited for what lies ahead.” This union makes perfect sense with Peele’s first two projects under his Monkeypaw Pictures tentpole and Universal. 2017’s Get Out , and 2019’s Us both were critical and box office hits. Get Out is still holds the record for being the highest-grossing original picture from a writer/director with an original screenplay. Peele would go on to win the Acadamy Award for Best Original Screenplay plus earn nominations for Best Director and Picture. The film’s star Daniel Kaluuya was nominated for the Best Actor category. Us , Peele’s follow-up to Get Out broke records following its debut earlier this year. When it opened in theaters it quickly had highest-grossing opening ever for an original horror film; the highest-grossing opening ever for an R-rated movie. It also was the highest-grossing opening for a live-action original since 2009’s Avatar . Today (October 1) was supposed to be a big day for the famed first-person shooter franchise Call of Duty . The highly-anticipated mobile version of the game dropped ahead of Modern Warfare’s upcoming release. Prince Harry has taken a step that is equal parts unusual and forceful. But all parts admirable. On Tuesday, the Duke of Sussex absolutely, positively, totally and completely WENT OFF on the media for the way it has treated his beloved wife, Meghan Markle. Seriously: Harry came out swinging, you guys. Hard . “Unfortunately, my wife has become one of the latest victims of a British tabloid press that wages campaigns against individuals with no thought to the consequences – a ruthless campaign that has escalated over the past year, throughout her pregnancy and while raising our newborn son,” Harry said in this rare statement. The handsome Prince didn’t just write down a bunch of words, either. He and the Royal Family are suing The Daily Mail for publishing the content of a private letter written awhile back by Markle. We believe the letter in question is one that Meghan wrote to her estranged father , although this has not yet been confirmed by the lawsuit or anyone associated with it. Any regular celebrity gossip follower, however, must be aware overall of all the ways in which various tabloids have quoted anonymous sources that have torn into Markle on the reg. “As a couple, we believe in media freedom and objective, truthful reporting,” continued Harry in this open letter. “We regard it as a cornerstone of democracy and in the current state of the world – on every level – we have never needed responsible media more,” Sounds like a not-so-subtle dig there against President Donald Trump. But that isn’t the point here at all. Not at the moment. One can believe in the value of a free press and also believe in what Harry says next: “There is a human cost to this relentless propaganda, specifically when it is knowingly false and malicious, and though we have continued to put on a brave face – as so many of you can relate to – I cannot begin to describe how painful it has been. “Because in today’s digital age, press fabrications are repurposed as truth across the globe. “One day’s coverage is no longer tomorrow’s chip-paper. “Up to now, we have been unable to correct the continual misrepresentations – something that these select media outlets have been aware of and have therefore exploited on a daily and sometimes hourly basis.” Wow, huh? Talk about some brutal honesty from Harry. “It is for this reason we are taking legal action, a process that has been many months in the making,” he goes on. “The positive coverage of the past week from these same publications exposes the double standards of this specific press pack that has vilified her almost daily for the past nine months; “They have been able to create lie after lie at her expense simply because she has not been visible while on maternity leave. “She is the same woman she was a year ago on our wedding day, just as she is the same woman you’ve seen on this Africa tour.” This is not the first time that Harry has come to Meghan’s defense. Shortly after the couple went public with their relationship in 2016, the prince released a powerful statement, trashing what he called the racist and sexist abuse she had endured since her relationship with him was revealed. We applauded him then and we’re applauding him now. Continued Harry: For these select media this is a game, and one that we have been unwilling to play from the start. I have been a silent witness to her private suffering for too long. To stand back and do nothing would be contrary to everything we believe in. This particular legal action hinges on one incident in a long and disturbing pattern of behaviour by British tabloid media. The contents of a private letter were published unlawfully in an intentionally destructive manner to manipulate you, the reader, and further the divisive agenda of the media group in question. In addition to their unlawful publication of this private document, they purposely misled you by strategically omitting select paragraphs, specific sentences, and even singular words to mask the lies they had perpetuated for over a year. Harry, tragically, has seen first-hand what happens when a frenzied press goes too far. His mother, Princess Diana, was killed in a 1997 car crash after the vehicle in which she was a passenger sped away from a number of intruding paparazzi members. He invoked this awful incident in his statement on Tuesday. “I’ve seen what happens when someone I love is commoditised to the point that they are no longer treated or seen as a real person,” he wrote, adding: “I lost my mother and now I watch my wife falling victim to the same powerful forces.” The Duke of Sussex’s statement concluded: “We thank you, the public, for your continued support. It is hugely appreciated. Although it may not seem like it, we really need it.” KA-BOOM, huh? A legal spokesperson from Schillings, who are representing the Duchess of Sussex, added on Tuesday: “We have initiated legal proceedings against the Mail on Sunday, and its parent company Associated Newspapers, over the intrusive and unlawful publication of a private letter written by the Duchess of Sussex, which is part of a campaign by this media group to publish false and deliberately derogatory stories about her, as well as her husband. “Given the refusal of Associated Newspapers to resolve this issue satisfactorily, we have issued proceedings to redress this breach of privacy, infringement of copyright and the aforementioned media agenda.” This legal case is being privately funded by Harry and Meghan. Pending a court ruling, proceeds from any damages will be donated to an anti-bullying charity. So much for those Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott marriage rumors. Heck, so much for those rumors of Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott simply going to see a movie this week together or something. In a stunning development that has taken the Internet by storm and surprise, this seemingly stable couple has chosen to break up. Neither half of the famous couple has confirmed this news, but multiple outlets have reported it as fact. This, for example, comes from a People Magazine insider: They are taking some time but not done. They still have some trust issues but their problems have stemmed more from the stress of their lifestyles. And this is from an E! News source: Kylie and Travis aren’t officially calling it quits on their relationship, but are taking space apart. It’s not a firm split. They’ve been fighting again, but have still seen each other within this last month. E!, of course, is the network that airs Keeping Up with the Kardashians, meaning it is locked in to the inner workings of this family and would never issue such a statement if it weren’t true. Scott and Jenner had been together for over two years. They appeared to be nothing more than a fling at first, only for Kylie to get pregnant with a girl after just a few months of dating the rapper. She and the artist then defied expectations and remained together through said pregnancy and then for over a year since welcoming daughter Stormi Webster into the world in February 2018. We did report on hints of a split just two weeks ago, but Kylie seemed to quell such chatter shortly afterwards by sharing a new photo of herself and Scott. And now… this. Back in March, Scott canceled a tour date in Buffalo after speculation grew rampant that he had been cheating. The couple put those rumors to rest awhile back, it appeared, by taking multiple vacations together this summer and coming across as inseperable as ever. So, what happened here? Why are they now on at the minimum a break and, at maximum, a total break up ? “They fight over ridiculous things and Kylie can be very skeptical about Travis,” the E! source explains. “Travis has been stressed with dropping new music.” It is worth noting that Scott did not accompany Kylie to Justin Bieber’s wedding in South Carolina on Monday night. This didn’t stop the 22-year old from having a blast, however. “Kylie had a glass of champagne in her hand and was dancing with Stormi on the dance floor at one point,” E! reports. “Kris was holding her a lot of the night. Kylie also had a cocktail drink at her table in front of her.” Jenner and Scott were last seen together at the premiere of Scott’s Netflix documentary, Travis Scott: Look Mom I Can Fly on August 28. They had often hinted that their relationship was headed toward marriage. In addition to referring to each other as “hubby” and “wifey” on numerous occasions, Kylie also rocked a massive diamond ring on her left hand. However, the Kylie Cosmetics founder assured Paper magazine in February that she would “let everybody know” when an engagement occurred. For his part, Travis talked openly about proposing someday . “We’ll get married soon,” he told Rolling Stone late last year, adding of his baby’s mama: “People don’t understand how real my girl is… They have assumptions, bullshit-ass remarks of what they think is going on.
