Source: Allen Berezovsky / Getty Kurupt Reportedly Rushed To Hospital After Alcohol Relapse According to TMZ , legendary West Coast rapper Kurupt has reportedly been rushed to the hospital following an alcohol relapse on the set of We TV’s hit show “Marriage Boot Camp”. Kurupt reportedly missed two days of filming because he was recuperating in the hospital after a night of excessive drinking. He allegedly drank so much that he got sick and had to seek medical treatment. Kurupt has been transparent about his struggles with alcohol and was aware that the show wasn’t a friendly environment for recovering addicts. The producers on set reportedly kept the alcohol flowing for cast members, leading to Kurupt’s hospital stint. But after this incident We TV is contemplating banning drinks from upcoming seasons. Kurupt is set to appear on the show with his estranged wife, Jovan “Tookie” Brown.

This joint tour with Blink-182 seems to be a troubled one for Wayne, as this isn’t the first time he’s has run into troubles and possible cancellations. This time, the rapper is telling fans that police and the Ritz-Carlton are responsible. Weezy took to social media to explain that he wouldn’t be performing on Saturday night after being kicked out of the Ritz-Carlton hotel in St. Louis. “Sorry not doing the show tonight in St Lou kuz I was just kik’d out the Ritz and 12 got involve so I gotta slide,” the rapper tweeted, breaking news to fans. “Tht y’all f w me out here. This hiccup on tour isn’t the first problem Weezy has had while touring recently. Back in July, Lil Wayne cut his set short and warned fans that it “might” be his last stop on the tour with the Blink-182. He later clarified that he would not drop out of the tour and said, “I’m having too much fun with my bros.” Later that same month, he canceled his Tampa performance last-minute.

TMZ caught up with the singer as was leaving Craig’s in West Hollywood Thursday night, which is when they asked if it’s true she’s joining Jay-Z’s legendary label. Unfortunately for those hoping for a deal, she tells paparazzi that she’s an independent artist and still hasn’t signed anything. As the publication points out, Tinashe’s wording is very interesting here, because she seems to hint that there is an offer out for her–but she’s just not signing any deals until she puts out some music on her own first. Interesting. Even though the notion of a big signing bonus couldn’t sway her right now, the roster of artists on a label like Roc Nation sure does sweeten the deal. Tinashe makes it clear she’d be excited to work with the company that boasts artists like Rihanna sometime in the future. Maybe we’ll see a partnership between Roc Nation and Tinashe someday down the line, but for now, we’re getting a healthy helping of independent Nashe. We’re here for it.
Shane Gillis is a brand new cast member on SNL. But just days after this announcement went viral, folks around the Internet are now looking at some of the comedian’s past work and asking: WHAT THE HELL?!? Not long after Gillis was confirmed as one of three new faces on Saturday Night Live Season 45 (along with Chloe Fineman and Bowen Yang), a video resurfaced of the rising engaging in racist rhetoric. “Chinatown’s f-ckin nuts,” Gillis says in a clip from a September 2018 posted to a YouTube channel called Matt and Shane’s Secret Podcast began to circulate online. “Let the f-ckin ch-nks live there,” he adds. Gillis then goes on to toss out insults when talking about eating at Chinese restaurants, complaining about such experiences as follows: “The translation between you and the waiter is such a f–king hassle,” he tells fellow comedian Matt McCusker, doing a Chinese accent. “I’m pointing at it.” The footage immediately outraged SNL viewers and social media users overall, with many of them calling for him to be fired before he even appeared on an episode. “Bigotry and racism is unacceptable. Fire Shane Gillis,” one user wrote on Twitter. “It’s not just that one video,” another user explained. “New #SNL hire Shane Gillis has made a lot of ‘problematic’ comments and jokes over the past years. Will the show cancel him before he stars?” So far, that answer is no. We haven’t heard anything from anyone associated with the long-running sketch show. But the backlash eventually prompted Gillis to address the issue on Twitter. “I’m a comedian who pushes boundaries,” he wrote on Twitter, as you can see above. He added: “I sometimes miss. If you go through my 10 years of comedy, most of it bad, you’re going to find a lot of bad misses. I’m happy to apologize to anyone who’s actually offended by anything I’ve said.” Not exactly a heartfelt mea culpa, huh? Why is it that comedians think they are part of the one profession that is allowed to be offensive and cruel, simply because they’re trying to be funny? Just be funny without being racist. It isn’t that difficult. Gillis and the other additions came after Leslie Jones confirmed her departure on Twitter. “Thank you for all the love and support through my SNL years and I know you will be as excited as I am when you see some of the amazing projects and adventures that I have coming up very soon!” she told fans in a lengthy statement on September 3. “Love you all!!” Jones later added: “I will miss working, creating and laughing with you. “I will miss holding it down with Kenan [Thompson] everyday, I will miss [Cecily Strong’s] impression of me making me laugh at myself often, I will miss [Kate McKinnon’s] loving hugs and talks when I needed. “And of course, Colin [Jost], you porcelain-skinned Ken doll. I will miss all my cast mates!! “Especially being at the table reads with them!!
