They will also be privy to a brand new Elena Gilbert, as the formerly innocent Mystic Falls resident transitions into – SPOILER ALERT! – an official member of the undead. And TV Guide Magazine has posted the first photo from the upcoming premiere, which depicts a bloodthirsty Elena… locked behind bars for some reason? That’s what it appears like to us: That’s the impression we get. Are Elena’s friends trying to protect their pal? Is Damon hoping for a round of very kinky sex? Are we misinterpreting the scene? Robin Roberts Exits Good Morning America, Replacements Confirmed

Robin Roberts announced today that she is leaving Good Morning America one day earlier than scheduled, not due to her impending bone marrow transplant , but as a result of Hurricane Isaac. She is flying home to Mississippi to be with her ailing 88-year-old mother, Lucimarian, along with her family, which is in the eye of the storm. “I know the journey ahead will not be easy,” said Roberts, who is dealing with a blood disorder known as Myelodysplastic Syndrome. “Just know that I’m going to come back here as soon as I can.” In Roberts’ temporary absence, Good Morning America will welcome a number of high-profile guest anchors. Among them, it’s been confirmed: Oprah Winfrey, Chrid Rock, Katie Couric, Barbara Walters, Kelly Ripa and the Modern Family cast . “This means so much [that] these friends are stepping up like this,” Roberts said. “I love them for that!”

Gym Fires Back At Gabby Douglas’ “They Called Me A Slave” Comment Who do you believe?? Douglas’ former gym in Virginia Beach are “shocked” and “hurt” over allegations the two-time gold medal-winning gymnast made about racial bullying during her time there. Douglas told Oprah Winfrey in a recent interview that she was subject to racial taunts and comments while training at Excalibur Gymnastics in her hometown. She told one story in which a teammate told her to perform a task because she was their slave. “I definitely felt isolated,” Douglas told Winfrey. “I felt, ‘Why do I deserve this? Is it because I’m black?’ “ People associated with Excalibur were quick to rebut the claims to multiple news outlets. They say Douglas is exaggerating. “Really, I was shocked and very hurt,” former coach Dena Walker told NewsChannel 3. The CEO of Excalibur vehemently denied the statement. “I wish to defend the children that trained with her and supported her when she attacks them with these allegations,” Gustavo Moure told E! News. “Is Gabrielle a credible person just because she is an Olympic champion? She is not giving any names or dates, leading us to believe that the accusation is fake.” We believe Gabby, and not just because she’s black. Why would she make that up?? SMH. Source

Kellan Lutz Gushes Over Sharni Vinson

Kellan Lutz may be rich and famous and possess the ridiculous body of a Greek God , but he’s really just any guy in his mid-20s. The Twilight Saga star opened up to People over the weekend at Heineken’s U.S. Open Player Party in New York City and said he’s grown “more mature when it comes to women and relationships.” Like any of us, he had a lot of learning to do. “I was in this one relationship where I told her things about myself that wasn’t really me,” Lutz says , possibly talking about ex AnnaLynne McCord. “I said I liked this certain band only because she liked them. Then she bought me tickets to their concert and I was stuck in going. It’s not fair to her and to me.” Lutz wants to be with somebody who loves him for who he truly is, a philosophy that has landed him in the arms of Australian actress Sharni Vinson , 29. They’ve been dating for about a year. “Sharni’s personality and mine very much complement each other, and we connect on every level,” Lutz said. “She has a big personality so we have great conversations and laugh so much. The HBO costars – Harington appears on the epic drama as Jon Snow, while Leslie debuted last season as Ygritte – were photographed at London’s Rossopomodoro restaurant earlier this month, according to TMZ, engaging in a few public displays of affection . Gabby Douglas Reveals Bullying, Torment With Racial Slurs on Oprah’s Next Chapter

Gabby Douglas’ road to Olympic glory was far from easy. The 16-year-old revealed to Oprah Winfrey on Sunday’s Oprah’s Next Chapter that she was often bullied and tormented – even at a local gym. “One of my teammates was like, ‘Can you scrape the bar?'” Douglas recalled. “And they were like, ‘Why doesn’t Gabby do it, she’s our slave?'” “I definitely felt isolated, I felt why am I deserving this? Is it because I’m black? Those thoughts would go through my mind,” said the champ.

Evelyn’s bouncin’ back on TV after VH1 dropped her show . The “Basketball Wives” star and Oprah Guru worked together for an upcoming episode of “Iyanla: Fix My Life”; a new show premiering on OWN this fall. Following a tumultuous season of “Basketball Wives,” the release of her first book, and tying the knot with Chad (formerly Ochocinco) Johnson, Evelyn met Vanzant for a little workout and maybe some self evaluation. “Hey everyone! I’m with Iyanla and can’t wait for you guys to see me on her show “Iyanla Fix My Life” on OWN in September,” Lozada confirmed with pictures from the taping. “Right now, I’m in my ZEN moment with Iyanla.” As widely reported, Evelyn vowed to make some changes in her life following the fourth season of “Basketball Wives” where she was seen throwing a wine bottle at a cast member (among other things). Maybe this will be a great public way she can share her journey and growth with viewers. The new series will show Iyanla working with women and their families, revealing secrets, truths, and emotions as she shows us all how to “pull back the curtain on what is broken in our lives”. Lauryn Hill Turns Down Oprah’s Invitation For A Sit Down Interview Just when it seemed like there wasn’t anybody that Oprah couldn’t get to dish the deepest details of their lives on national television, Lauryn Hill shut that thought all the way down. In recent months, Oprah Winfrey has landed big interviews with the likes of Lady Gaga, Bobbi Kristina, The Kardashians, and Rihanna as part of her network’s “Next Chapter” series. But one big name viewers aren’t likely to see on the show is Lauryn Hill. On Monday a Twitter follower asked the media maven to “Get Lauryn Hill on your show ASAP.” Winfrey’s response: “Tried. She said no.” Winfrey’s request may have been a little inconvenient for the eight-time Grammy Award winner, who has been dealing with a slew of tax issues with the Internal Revenue Service. Wonder what made Lauryn turn down the queen? Couldn’t she use the money? Source
