Lady G takes her place alongside such luminaries as President Obama, Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor, Apple’s Steve Jobs, “Avatar” director James Cameron, “American Idol” judge Simon Cowell and Oprah Winfrey in the new World’s Most Influential People list.

Samantha Ronson to Lindsay Lohan: Lay Off the Crack!

“If you’re having girl problems I feel bad for you son … I got 99 problems but a b!tch ain’t one.” – Jay-Z If only Samantha Ronson could say the same. Whatever dumpster Lindsay Lohan ended up in last night, she got the obligatory, accusatory Tweets out first. Alleging that her ex is selling her out to celebrity gossip sites, along with plenty of other gibberish, the train wreck had this to say to her DJ ex: I’m pretty sure that @samantharonson just threw a fit @33years old and my friend tal @draishollywood … illegally open NOW at this hour Asked me, after being here jus 4 Timbalands birthday-to leave even though she stayed over just 2nights ago-tired of @samantharonson Playing the innocent card, while chatting to tmz just like my ex-father, when all I’ve ever done is fall for a girl Yep. All she’s ever done is fall for a girl … hurl drinks at a girl, accuse a girl of doing Miley’s ex , fall in a cactus, and have DFCS officials visit, etc. WHAT A MESS : We sympathize with Samantha . This rant apparently resulted from LL getting kicked out of a club (so much for her retirement ) last night at Ronson’s request after she went insane in there. Sam’s response to Lindsay’s online babbling was to Tweet the following: “I’m not here. This isn’t happening.” If I sing that to myself enough times will it be true? One more thing- if you’re gonna be an idiot an do coke- do it outside the bathroom- some of us actually use them to pee in. Jack and crack will make for some crazy tweets. Indeed. We eagerly await her retaliatory Tweets once the janitor tosses the previous night’s trash into the bin outside the club and she wakes up in there. Time Magazine has come out with its annual list of the world’s 100 most influential people. It’s divided into four categories (Leaders, Heroes, Thinkers and Artists), although we have no idea how Sarah Palin ended up in the number-nine slot as a “Leader.” What does she lead, exactly? Whatever organization pays her the most money to speak at its event? But anyway. Lady GaGa is considered the most influential artist on the planet, with Conan O’Brien ranking second. Also in the top 10: Oprah, Taylor Swift and Robert Pattinson . The magazine spoke to a number of people closely associated to these celebrities and received the following takes on them: Cyndi Lauper on Lady GaGa : Lady Gaga’s art captures the period we’re in right now. She isn’t a pop act, she is a performance artist. She herself is the art. She is the sculpture. George Lopez on Conan O’Brien : Conan’s tenacity and wit have been an inspiration to me on my own late-night show. I’m happy and proud that we’ll be playing on the same team when he comes to basic cable. Chris Weitz on Robert Pattinson : Rob is a reserved, bookish sort of specimen, a guy who’d rather spend the night at the corner table in the pub with friends — a bit of a weirdo, frankly, in the best sense. Rielle Hunter on Oprah: I’m Not a Home Wrecker!

Rielle Hunter, mistress to that disgrace John Edwards and mother to his two-year-old love child, gives her first TV interview today on the Oprah Winfrey Show. The weird videographer recounts how the former presidential candidate’s cancer-stricken wife, Elizabeth, slowly learned the full extent of his affair with Rielle. Slowly being the operative word. Rielle Hunter recalls how it was Elizabeth who encouraged John to come clean about his infidelity in 2008 … even though she didn’t know “the whole truth.” In the first interview John gave confirming his affair with Rielle, he denied fathering her child. Edwards finally admitted it earlier this year. What a sleaze. Perhaps the most disturbing thing about Rielle Hunter? Besides the fact that she’s still around at all? She somehow denies breaking up the politician’s marriage. “She doesn’t think she’s a home wrecker,” Winfrey told the AP regarding Hunter. “She does not think she played a key role in breaking up the Edwards marriage.” Hunter told GQ in March (after taking off her pants , then dubiously claiming she was repulsed by the photos): “Infidelity doesn’t happen in healthy marriages.” “The break in marriage happens before infidelity. That break happened, you know, two-and-a-half decades before I got there. The home was wrecked already.” Whatever helps you sleep at night, loser. Oprah Winfrey to feature Justin Bieber and Charice on May 11

The May 11 episode of the Oprah Winfrey show is set to feature two young stars who both gained popularity through internet juggernaut wesbite, YouTube . 16-year old Justin Bieber , whose album My World 2.0 is currently #1 on the Billboard 200 Albums, is set to appear and perform.  He will be promoting the tour in support of his hit album which begins this summer. Bieber began his mainstream career after his YouTube videos were seen by former marketing exec for So So Def and now his manager, Scooter Braun.  Braun set him up to meet with Usher and Island Record execs where he auditioned, and the rest is music history. In one year since he released his first single, Bieber now has numerous Top 40 hits and a platinum album to his name. Charice Charice (full name Charice Pempengco) on the other hand, is fast becoming one of the music industry’s hottest new artists. She was recently described by The New York Post as the “newly crowned pop princess”, having performed alongside big name acts like Celine Dion, David Foster and Andrea Bocelli. Charice also gained popularity through YouTube. Hailing from the Philippines, she was invited to perform for major international shows like “ The Paul O’Grady Show”, “ The Ellen Degeneres Show ” and “ The Oprah Winfrey Show “. Her single “Pyramid” featuring Iyaz is currently #7 on the Billboard Dance Songs Chart, and she is set to release her debut album on Oprah on May 11,  a day after she turns 18. After waiting for so long, the millions of Twilight Saga fans finally saw the new Eclipse trailer as it was featured in the Oprah Winfrey’s show. Eclipse is based on the book series by Stephenie Meyer. Eclipse is the third book of the series and the continuation of the first two hit-topping movies. In this third motion picture of the Twilight Saga, Jacob and Edward will battle together with their respective clans to win the heart of Bella. It will be a battle between wolves vs. vampires. Who will win between the two of them? The Eclipse movie is expected to be shown in theaters come June 30, 2010. Michelle Obama: Fashion, Investment Advisor to Oprah

Oprah knows a good investment when she sees one. Early in the 2008 presidential campaign, she threw her support behind a little-known U.S. Senator named Barack Obama. We all know how that turned out. The Big O is also high on the First Lady of the United States – specifically her fashion sense. Taking style cues from Michelle turned out to be a wise move. Yesterday, while hosting J.Crew’s Creative Director Jenna Lyons on a special “Dream Jobs” episode of her show, the media made an interesting admission. After seeing Michelle Obama pictures showing her in relatively affordable J. Crew cardigans, sweaters and skirts, O went and became a J. Crew investor. Oprah knows a style star when she sees one. “The very first time I saw the First Lady, before she became the First Lady, wearing J. Crew – full disclosure – I went and bought J.Crew stock,” she said. The host also said putting her money on Michelle’s mix-it-up, high-low look was indeed a smart bet, saying, “That [investment] was a very good decision.” Good thing, too. In these troubled economic times, Oprah needs all the financial breaks she can get. Hey, better than her taking advice from Octomom .
