LaLa Anthony made an appearance on The Breakfast Club and was giving advice to callers during part of the show. Everything was going pretty cool until a caller explained her situation; the young lady had a friend who slept around a lot and was getting called a whore. The caller felt like she was getting a bad reputation because she was still hanging out with her and asked LaLa how she’d deal with that situation since she’s “friends with Kim Kardashian”. Lala responded: “First of all, We joke around and have fun but I am really starting to get a little tired of people calling her that to me because if I was calling your friend a whore you wouldn’t like that would you? No matter what people’s perceptions are, I know my friend and I know her heart and who she is and she’s not a whore. We are all grown now! I can’t be responsible for what people think about other people, I go by how a person treats me and she’s always been an amazing person to me. As far as your situation is concerned, the same thing applies. We are all grown. If your friend has a bad rep, you can’t take responsibility for what your friend does, so you shouldn’t be grouped in that category because of what she does, you can only be responsible for your own actions…I think a Hoe is someone who has no morals or values when they do what they do. So I think a hoe is breaking up [a home]– knows a person is married and is messing with him. I don’t think a hoe is someone that sleeps around because if you are single and enjoying yourself, that is what you are suppose to do.” Well damn…what’s your definition of a whore and do you think LaLa should get the “good friend of the week” award for her classy answer? According to the Orlando Sentinel… A 48-year-old Volusia County minister faces decades in prison after a jury this week convicted him of raping a little girl nearly six years ago. Michael Charles Campbell of DeLand faces as much as 60 years in prison after his conviction Thursday on charges of sexual battery and engaging in sexual conduct with a minor 12 to 18 years of age, the State Attorney’s Office said. Campbell, a minister in Deland and West Palm Beach, lured the girl to a motel for sex by promising her help with her modeling career with a “skit,” prosecutors and police said. The former Daytona Beach funeral home worker attacked the girl when she was 12 and 13. In December 2006, he picked the girl up in a hearse with a body inside after telling her father he wanted her to do some work at the funeral home. They delivered a body to Daytona Beach International Airport and as they drove away, he told the girl that she might have to take her clothes off for the skit. The girl said he told her he “might have to take a look at you first” and pulled the hearse off the roadway. She said she exposed herself. Then they drove to a motel, where the girl said Campbell taught her how to put a condom on and kissed and fondled her. They spent several hours in the room and afterwards, Campbell gave her $44, the girl told police. In December 2007, the girl was taken to a motel for another “skit,” but that time she tried to resist, even though Campbell told her “it was how Brittany Spears and Beyonce got their start.” SMH…We’re not blaming anyone other than this disgusting waste of life but we wish parents out there would stop being so willing to let their young children go off alone with adults; even if they’re the head of the Church. Despite not actually being a cast member on The Real Housewives of New Jersey any longer, Dina Manzo sat down this week with Andy Cohen on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live and assured viewers: her feud with sister Caroline will eventually end. “I’m obviously not going to get into the reasons, but… we’re all on a life journey and sometimes people’s energy doesn’t vibe,” Dina profoundly told the host. “We’re just letting it sit… It doesn’t mean you hate the person or you wish bad for them.” Dina adds that the rivalry with Caroline is unrelated to Teresa Giudice , while also making a promise to fans.* “I can guarantee you two things: one, it’s going to be okay one day, we’re going to be back to normal. And two is as weird as things are… if either one of us needed each other we would be there in a heartbeat. That’s where the family bond will never be broken.” (*Seriously, is anyone actually a fan of these people?)

Finally ladies have some official fan gear that isn’t pink! NBA Licenses Custom-Made High Heels For Women The men of the NBA have never shied away from making fashion statements. There have been Daisy Duke-style shorts, shants (the baggy hybrid of shorts and pants), Pat Riley Armani suits, Air Jordans, Dennis Rodman tattoos, piercings, and hair dyes, and Allen Iverson sideways caps and corn rows. This season the Urkel-meets-Brooklyn-hipster costume is making headlines, best exemplified by the colorful wire framed glasses sans lenses worn by the Miami Heat’s Dwayne Wade and LeBron James, and the big boy fishy, teddy bear and umbrella-themed polo shirts worn by the Oklahoma City Thunder’s Russell Westbrook. But the latest trend the NBA is hoping to bank on is a new offering for its female fans: high heels. Yesterday the league announced its license agreement with Orlando-based shoe designer Herstar for a line of heels that includes two designs available for all 30 teams. One is a 6-inch crystal beaded version currently retailing for $275, the other a 4-inch microsuede version retailing for $99. Yes, 6-inch and 4-inch heels. The founder and CEO of Herstar, Holly Joffrion, can explain. Frustrated when nothing came of her online search for a pair of sport high heels to wear to an Orlando Magic game she was attending with her husband, the shoe designer had the vision of making her own team-themed pair. She worked on some prototype images with various teams’ logos and then last September the 25-year old posted a few on her website to gauge fan interest. Within three days, without any marketing or promotion, while the league was on the verge of its lockout, she found she was not the only one searching for such shoes. She had over 100 requests for her prototypes. Fortunately Joffrion already had her manufacturer and distributor lined up, as she had already been in the shoe business for five years. But the next hurdle was the NBA license agreement application. Without it she was unable to make or sell the shoes. So for three months she and her husband, who has a background in finance, hustled to get the paperwork done. By the time she presented her application to the NBA in February, Herstar’s back orders were in the hundreds, still without the company engaging in any marketing or advertising, outside of Facebook and Pinterest postings. It was more than enough to make up for the lack of 3-year sales figures the league requested on the merchandise. Additionally, by that point Joffrion had been so overwhelmed by requests for something higher than the 3-inch pair she had online, that she first added the 4-inch heels to the mix and later when asked for even higher, offered the 6-inch version. (For the record, Herstar will customize to lower lengths.) Yesterday after the NBA’s press release, Herstar’s sales jumped 400 percent on daily volume; traffic for the company’s website, where the shoes are primarily sold, jumped from a typical 4,000 daily hits to 35,000 hits. In total the company has sold enough pairs of heels to cover the initial $30,000 upfront license fee the NBA required and is already profitable. Current customers include the Orlando Magic’s Dwight Howard and Daniel Orton, while the top three sales markets are the San Antonio Spurs, Los Angeles Lakers and the Oklahoma City Thunder. This lady is about to get PAID! Vicky Picca, the NBA’s senior vice president of licensing and business affairs, said the league and more importantly its 25 million female NBA fans in the US couldn’t be happier. “Our female business has tripled over the last 5 years and what our fans were saying is that they no longer wanted a pink version of a male product,” said Picca. “This appeals to our savvy female consumer.” Ladies, would you rock a pair of these hoops heels? Watch yourself now fellas, your team will need you Indiana Pacers Have Altercation Outside Of Orlando Nightclub According to TMZ reports : Cops rushed in to break up a heated late night exchange between several members of the Indiana Pacers and a pack of angry clubgoers in Orlando early this morning … and the whole thing was caught on tape. TMZ obtained footage … showing 7’1″ Kyrylo Fesenko confronting a group of people outside of Club 23 around 2:45 AM. Sources at the scene tell us … the whole thing began when one of the clubgoers angrily accused Kyrylo of “bumping into him” … and then unleashed a flurry of verbal attacks at the NBA star. As Kyrylo tried to walk away from the situation … the mob grew in numbers and the taunts became louder. That’s when Kyrylo’s teammate Danny Granger charged towards the clubgoers … only to be restrained by some of his friends. Multiple bike cops peddled to the scene and diffused the situation … with Granger and Kyrylo calmly walking away without further incident. FYI — the Pacers were in town for a playoff game against the Orlando Magic … and after the incident, a cop jokingly says to the camera guy if he would have known that Pacers were involved in the dust up he would have arrested the guys. Clearly, a Magic fan. A rep for the Pacers tells TMZ … “Our players were provoked into a verbal confrontation and ended up walking away from the confrontation. Good for D-Wade: Miami HEAT guard, Dwyane Wade, has hosted his 5th Annual All-Star Weekend charity events during NBA All-Star Weekend in Orlando, Florida this weekend. Although the weekend has been filled with appearances and All-Star festivities, Wade’s mission, as always, was to contribute to the improvement of young lives in the local community and to encourage fathers to play an active role in the lives of their children. To kick off the All-Star Weekend festivities, Wade hosted the “Fatherhood Heroes” Roundtable Discussions event with special guests from the White House Office of Faith-Based & Neighborhood Partnerships and Office of Public Engagement. Together they helped shine a positive spotlight on responsible dads and moms who support responsible fatherhood in the Orlando community. The event honored and recognized those whose lives and work exemplify the goals of the President’s Fatherhood & Mentoring Initiative. Later that day, Dwyane, in partnership with the Tangelo Park Program, unveiled two new basketball courts for Tangelo Park Elementary School that he refurbished with his foundation, the Wade’s World Foundation. The event was held to celebrate the students’ hard work throughout the school year and to encourage them to stay physically fit year round. On Saturday, for the fifth year in a row, Wade hosted his “All-Star Luncheon” along with chairperson, Harris Rosen (President & COO of Rosen Hotels & Resorts). The luncheon featured performances by Grammy Award-winning artist Estelle and was emceed by Lauren Rowe, co-anchor of Channel 6 News in Orlando. All funds raised by the Wade’s World Foundation from this event went to directly support the Orlando-based charity Tangelo Park Program, a community-based educational initiative to benefit children and families living in the Tangelo Park neighborhood.
