Principal Uses School Money To Build Private Gym Wait, is the principal in a bikini??? The NY Post reports: The principal is in much better shape than her school. Principal Jazmine Santiago used school funds to install her own private gym with a bench press, pull-up bar, treadmill, elliptical machine and thigh exerciser on the third floor of PS 269 in Flatbush, sources told The Post. When some staffers questioned the expenditure, Santiago claimed she shares the equipment with older students, according to one source. But the underperforming school only goes through Grade 5, which would make the oldest students 11 years old and an average 4-foot-10 — not tall enough to reach some of the heavy-duty equipment. “Their bodies are not ready for a treadmill,” one teacher said. Staffers fumed that Santiago converted a storage room into her own private workout space in June 2014 with no consultation. “She comes in early, she goes to the gym. Even when class is in session, she’s still in the gym,” said another teacher. Teachers say the room is always locked and not accessible to other staff, much less students. Santiago, who makes $124,319 a year, refused to meet a Post reporter on school grounds and didn’t return calls. The elementary school has struggled during her four-year reign. Only 16 percent of students passed state English tests and only 12 percent passed math exams last year. SMH…she’s got some explaining to do.

The unexpected gift is the latest in an outpouring of donations from supporters across the globe who, touched by James Robertson’s plight, have raised more than $320,000 in an online campaign to help him buy a car. Robertson had told the Detroit Free Press that his car broke down a decade ago and, making $10.55 an hour, he has been unable to save for a new one. ‘I don’t like it, I love it,’ said Robertson, 56, who appeared baffled as he sat behind the wheel of his 2015 red Ford Taurus. ‘If only my parents could see me now.’ Robertson thought he was going to look at cars to purchase with Evan Leedy and Blake Pollock, who both helped coordinate the gift, worth an estimated $37,000. Instead Robertson was greeted by reporters and a team of supporters who first learned of his marathon commute this week in a story that ran in the Sunday Detroit Free Press. Reggie Bush Implicated In Drugging Women By Darren Sharper’s Codefendant Via Yahoo! The rape trial of former New Orleans Saints safety Darren Sharper has taken a strange turn. A former sheriff’s deputy in Louisiana, who has been charged (along with Sharper) with helping to drug women in order to rape them, told investigators he witnessed former Saints and current Detroit Lions running back Reggie Bush drop the party drug ecstasy into women’s drinks at a Las Vegas club a few years ago, according to a published report. According to the Baton Rouge Advocate, Brandon Licciardi, the codefendent in the Sharper case, told authorities about seeing Bush doing this when Licciardi was interviewed last year by the Orleans Parish (La.) District Attorney. At the time, Licciardi was being questioned about two incidents in which Sharper allegedly was involved in rapes. According to the federal indictment, Licciardi is named as a conspirator to Sharper in assisting with the rape. Asked if he had seen other women being drugged, Licciardi spilled on Bush’s involvement. Peep THIS: “OK, um, I was in Vegas about three years ago and um, Reggie Bush put Molly in Champagne. He was handing out ‘Molly’ on the dance floor to girls. Handing it out. Like giving it to them,” Licciardi said. “And how do you know that?” asked James O’Hern, an investigator for the DA’s Office. “[Because] I saw it with my own eyes,” Licciardi responded. Says Reggie’s ubiquitous lawyer: Bush has not been charged with anything by authorities, and he strongly denied any involvement through his Bush’s California-based attorney, Shawn Holley, to the Detroit Free Press. “This is outrageous,” Holley said. “I can say to you on the record that Reggie adamantly, vehemently and unequivocally denies all of the statements in that article. We are demanding a retraction from The Advocate and Reggie is considering taking legal action.” Holley questioned the credibility of the defendent, Licciardi, to the Free Press. “There is no investigation, there’s never been any complaint made by any person of this happening,” Holley said. “It appears to be something that’s being stated by someone who is a criminal defendant in a serious case and looking for anything he can say to deflect from his own troubles. But there is not a shred of truth to any of this.” Asked again later in court about Bush’s involvement, Licciardi started to backpedal a bit. “Reggie, yeah. No, I didn’t see him put it in the drink. He told me. And he said he was handing it to people, in Vegas,” Licciardi said, adding, “He asked me if I wanted some. Middle School Students Have A Sex Party Families in Brown Deer, Wisconsin are reeling after four middle schoolers were busted for having a secret “sex party” after school. Four Brown Deer Middle School students could face serious charges. Police say they were involved in a sex party — and they’re accused of recording it on their cell phones. Word of this alleged party over winter break has been spreading quickly — not just on social media. FOX6 News has seen hundreds of comments on our Facebook page. FOX6 News was able to talk with some residents. They used words like this in reacting to what allegedly took place: “appalling,” “sad,” and “disgusting.” “The party annotation really came from the way it was dispatched to us. Because in reality it was just a few kids, four, that got together and had sexual activity,” said Brown Deer Police Chief Michael Kass. Chief Kass says the ages of those involved, coupled with the fact that they recorded it on their cell phones are things being taken into consideration when determining potential criminal charges. “While the appearance is that it was all consensual, we just don’t know that as a fact — because legally they can’t consent,” said Chief Kass. School officials say nothing happened at the middle school, but that’s where they found out about it. They say other students approached them, concerned for the safety of those allegedly involved. Those administrators immediately brought that information to the Brown Deer Police Department. A statement was issued by the Brown Deer School District, saying school officials are “deeply troubled” to hear of this incident and that the district is “actively working with authorities” as the investigation continues. “When you leave kids unsupervised, sometimes odd things happen, so it’s important you not only supervise your children but you also know what they’re doing with their cell phones. You need to know what’s going on,” said Chief Kass. Police say all four of the teens involved were arrested and then released to their parents. Brown Deer police are recommending the students be charged with first and second degree sexual assault of a child. SMH…watch your kids people.

The conviction is a significant victory for the Obama administration, which has conducted an unprecedented crackdown on officials who speak to journalists about security matters without the administration’s approval. Prosecutors prevailed after a yearslong fight in which the reporter, James Risen, refused to identify his sources. The case revolved around a C.I.A. operation in which a former Russian scientist provided Iran with intentionally flawed nuclear component schematics. Mr. Risen revealed the operation in his 2006 book, “State of War,” describing it as a mismanaged, potentially reckless mission that may have inadvertently aided the Iranian nuclear program. On the third day of deliberations, the jury in federal court in Alexandria, Va., convicted Mr. Sterling on nine felony counts. Mr. Sterling, who worked for the C.I.A. from 1993 to 2002 and now lives in O’Fallon, Mo., faces a maximum possible sentence of decades in prison, though the actual sentence is likely to be far shorter. Judge Leonie M. Brinkema of Federal District Court, who presided over the weeklong trial, allowed Mr. Sterling to remain free on bond and set sentencing for April 24. “This is a just and appropriate outcome,” Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr. said. “The defendant’s unauthorized disclosures of classified information compromised operations undertaken in defense of America’s national security. The disclosures placed lives at risk. As this verdict proves, it is possible to fully prosecute unauthorized disclosures that inflict harm upon our national security without interfering with journalists’ ability to do their jobs. Jerame Reid Death An investigation is currently ongoing into yet another death of an unarmed black man killed by police. Newly released footage shows 36-year-old Jerame Reid of New Jersey being gunned down while his hands are raised. SMFH… The Daily Dot reports: When police in Bridgeton, N.J., pulled over Leroy Tutt’s on the night of Dec. 30, it was because he had rolled through a stop sign. Minutes later, his passenger, 36-year-old Jerame Reid, was killed in a hail of bullets fired by officers Braheme Days and Roger Worley. The Bridgeton Police Department has now released dash-cam footage of the fatal encounter, in which Officer Days, who is black, approaches the passenger window and asks for Tutt’s license. After spotting a gun in the glove department, both Days and Worley, a white man, draw their weapons, with Days warning Tutt and Reid not to move. “Show me your f******* hands!” Days yells as he struggles with the car door. “Don’t you f***** move! I’m telling you, I’m going to shoot you. You’re going to be f***** dead … Jerame, you reach for something, you’re going to be f***** dead.” “Let me out of the f***** car,” Reid says, finally emerging with his hands in front of his chest, at which point both Worley and Days open fire, killing him. Tutt, whose raised hands are visible throughout, then lies down in the street to be handcuffed. Days and Worley are on administrative leave while the department investigates their use of deadly force. Days had arrested Reid the previous summer “on charges of obstruction, resisting arrest, possession of narcotics and failure to appear in Millville Municipal Court. As recently reported by the Inquisitr, Kenya Moore was reportedly not happy when the Academy Award-winning starlet refused to take pictures. Kenya even took to her Twitter account to call Lupita out for her alleged behavior. In retrospect, there is nothing in those tweets that directly imply that it was Kenya Moore herself with whom Lupita Nyong’o refused to be photographed. Those initial tweets by Moore certainly seemed to imply to the public that she was personally snubbed. However, it is now painfully clear that if Kenya Moore was hoping to benefit from this alleged diss, her plan backfired to an embarrassing degree. Much of the backlash over this incident has hit Kenya herself. The consensus seemed to be that the actress had every right to not be photographed with Kenya. There were even those who cheered Lupita for refusing to have her picture taken with the offended reality tv starlet. Kenya seems to have realized that she is looking none too good because now her story has changed. Or rather, Moore is working to clarify why she was upset with Nyong’o. Unfortunately for Kenya Moore, this may be a “too little, too late” situation. Although reports of the social media comment are circulating, it seems to have done little to alleviate the backlash.
