Dark Tide Movie Trailer: Just Released!

Over the last few weeks, Halle Berry’s personal life has dominated any news about this actress, as she battles for full custody of her daughter with ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubry . But the gorgeous star actually has a new movie coming out later this year. It’s titled Dark Tides and it co-stars her fiance, Olivier Martinez. The thriller features Berry and Martinez as a couple who goes deep sea diving… only to come across a “nightmare from the deep still lurking” in the sea, according to the film’s official synopsis. A bit cheesy and predictable? Sure. But don’t you wanna see how these two fell in love? Dark Tide Trailer

PGA Awards: And Just Like That, The Artist Locks Up Oscar Season

Let’s not belabor this: The Artist claimed Best Picture at Saturday’s Producers Guild Awards, all but affirming its eventual Best Picture win at the Academy Awards. Other winners included The Adventures of Tintin in the animated category and Beats Rhymes & Life: The Travels of A Tribe Called Quest in docs. Congrats to all! Is it March yet? The winner of the PGA’s top award has gone on to repeat at the Oscars nearly 75 percent of the time over the last two decades, most recently doing so last year following The King’s Speech’s surprising victory over The Social Network . The Weinstein Company never looked back in 2011, and it won’t look back now. Next stop: Tuesday’s Oscar nominations, and at this point for Michel Hazanavicius’s silent film, it’s not a matter of “if” it will earn recognition, but “how much?” Check back tomorrow for my predictions — or just move on to fantasy baseball or something. It’s going to be a long month ahead. [ PGA ]

Bethenny Frankel to End Reality Show

With controversy all around her, Bethenny Frankel is pulling the plug on her reality show after three seasons. The former Real Housewife of New York will “concentrate on her many business ventures,” an insider tells Us Weekly ,” while the door will remain open for other projects with Bravo.” Frankel has been under fire over the last few weeks. First, a lawsuit was filed against her line of margaritas , with questions arising over just how “all natural” the product is. Then, Bethenny claimed she and her husband were lost at sea and nearly died, only for a witness to say otherwise and accuse her of manufacturing drama for her reality show. What a crazy notion, we know. “As far as Bethenny Ever After goes, she feels that ending the show on a high note and ending it after this season would be best for her family,” the source says. “She doesn’t want her [20-month-old] daughter [Bryn] to grow up on TV.” Season three premieres on February 20.
