Kim Kardashian and Kanye West aren’t just making like Jesus Christ these days. They are making plans to take over every sector of the fashion universe. According to TMZ sources, the couple (kouple?) has already purchased a 14,000-square foot mansion in Bel Air. Now, they are looking at property in New York, Miami and Paris as well, all of which are major epicenters for the world’s hottest designers. Kim and Kanye have also spent the past few days in Brazil and insiders confirm they are open to purchasing a place in that country, too. How will they ever afford so many homes? Come on. That’s what a Kim Kardashian baby is for. Cha-ching!
Republican Party Working To Change Electoral College Rules This just in from the loser’s corner… via NBC News Republicans in MI, OH, PA, VA are looking to change the Electoral College rules, but not their party. The changes would give the GOP a HUGE advantage in presidential contests, but it would also present this dilemma for Republicans: it would speed up efforts to have the popular vote decide presidential elections. Republicans are looking to change the Electoral College system in battleground states that Democrats have won in the last two cycles. As the Washington Post reports, Republicans in Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Virginia — all controlled at the state level (in some form or fashion) by the GOP — have proposed awarding their Electoral College votes by congressional district instead of the winner-take-all approach used by every state except for two (Maine and Nebraska). The Republicans advocating these changes say they would give smaller communities more of a voice in presidential battleground states. These lames really ought to give it a rest. They have four more years before anyone cares again.

On January 12 2013, I met Justin. It was honestly the best thing that could have ever happened to me. Basically I love Justin with all my heart and have been a Belieber since the end of 2008. Entering the fandom was another family to have and I am so blessed to be able to say I am a belieber and I’m proud. Justin was scheduled to come to San Antonio, Texas (my hometown) on January 12 for the Believe Tour. I looked up the prices but they were outrageous but I would do anything to just be able to go. I had my parents get a hold of one of their friends to get me tickets. The tickets were on the floor for $800 which was pretty good but I still didn’t want my parents to spend that much. We asked my cousin who is Usher’s guitarist for already 12 years a favor, to see if he could get tickets. We asked him in October and it was really early for him to find out so I waited and waited. He didn’t really promise that he was going to get them but I was hoping he would. He came in December from LA to spend time with the family and when I saw him, we started talking about how he was going to get me tickets and that he knew Scooter and Justin! On the 30th of December my cousin called me and he told me that I was going to meet Justin and that he gotten me tickets! I honestly couldn’t stop shaking and I wasn’t able to breathe. It was the best feeling that you could ever manage to think about especially since I waited 4 years for that moment. On the day of, I made my mom take me there at 2:30 p.m. because we were suppose to be there at 3:30. When I was entering the building Dan Kanter came out of the elevator. I wasn’t really thinking straight so I turned around and screamed “Dan!!!” I started crying and shaking and my mom and cousins were looking at me like I was crazy. I told them that he was Justin’s guitarist and they told me to get a grip haha! We walked into the elevator and were taken to a different floor. Once I stepped out, Kenny was coming my way! Then while we were waiting in line, Dan Kanter was coming down the aisle. I started shaking again and I talked in my normal voice and said “Dan!” He looked at me and smiled but that’s it. Then my cousin said to him, “Hey Dan. Do you know Natural?” (Natural is what they call my cousin) Dan immediately turned around and was like, “Yeah! How do you know him?” I was shaking and on the verge of crying. My cousin on the other hand told him, “I’m his sister and this is his niece and cousin.” Dan looked at me and said, “No way! I look up to your brother, he’s an amazing guitarist!” Again I was shaking and then he turned to me and said, “Hi nice to meet you.” I was like in shock then I asked him for a picture and he said sure. Then 15 minutes later, Kenny came walking towards my direction. I asked him for a picture and he smiled at me but said that he could get in trouble because he had to get the line moving. We were almost to where Justin was, and he was on vocal rest because he wasn’t feeling that good. They had announced that if he didn’t talk much, it was because of that and not to have our feelings hurt. We finally got to the entrance of the room and I tried to stay calm and promised myself that I wasn’t going to cry in front of him. I asked Kenny for a picture again but I just started taking a lot of pictures of him when he wasn’t looking until he saw me and smiled at my phone. My cousin then asked him if he knew Natural and he thought about it for a minute and was like yeah how do you know him? Then she told him and he shook my hand and asked me what my name was. He continued to talk to us until another guy asked us where was our groups of 6. Kenny told him that it was fine and to leave it. When it was out turn, my heart was racing at 43729020 miles per hour and I felt like I was going to pass out. They had said to put your phones and cameras away so I did but I put my phone on record so I could have the conversation we had when we met saved. They said next once again and it was like everything I’ve been wishing for. I took a step into the “room” and I couldn’t breathe once I laid my eyes on his face, his beautiful hazel eyes and his hair and lips and everything of him was perfect and he was so flawless. The guy told me to move to my right and make my way towards Justin so I did exactly what he said. Once I was in front of him, I looked in his eyes and he held his hand out in front of me and told me “Hi, whats your name?” The emotions I was feeling were indescribable and the butterflies in my stomach were flips that not even gymnasts do. I told him my name was Gaby and he said nice to meet you. His hand was so big and he was just so perfect. I didn’t even look at his outfit, I wasn’t able to speak. He tried to shake my cousin’s hands and my mom’s but the guards were telling him to hurry up. I didn’t even realize Kenny followed us in the “room” until he spoke up and said, “Yo bro.” Justin told him, “Whats up” and Kenny was like, “That’s Natural’s sister, niece, and cousin.” Justin was like “No way,” and I was in shock . After taking the picture and wanting to stay with him forever, I turned to him and told him “Can I hug you?” He was like “Yeah of course.” I said, “Thank you for everything, and rest your voice.” He smiled at me and thanked me. I counted in my head that we hugged for 3 seconds and said “I love you.” When I walked out, Kenny was standing right in front of me. I looked at him and he smiled. I started crying and shaking so much. It was everything I could’ve imagined and more once. I will never forget that day, he made me smile at times when I was sad, he made me laugh at times when I felt like no one cared, and even though he didn’t know me, I acted like we knew each other. I am so grateful for that experience and it was all thanks to my cousin who didn’t even have to do it, yet he did. Now why couldn’t she have done that with Faye at that dinner party in her home? Plus 15 because Ken and Lisa finally come to Brandi’s defense. No matter what the difference of opinion, attacking Brandi in public isn’t the way to handle it and it’s nice that someone at the table stood up to Mauricio. And when did Mauricio become such a drama queen? Minus 10 to Brandi for losing her cool. If she could just hold her temper and not tell people to F-off when they deserve it, she could come off looking good in all of this. Instead Kyle, Mauricio, Kim, and Taylor toast as they bad mouth Brandi when she heads to the restroom. Minus 13. Then, in the most pathetic move of the night, Mauricio tries to tell Brandi his attack was nothing personal. Minus 22. Seriously? How mean could he have been if he really hated her? And in a move that’s become downright habitual, Taylor manages to make the whole incident about her. Minus 11. I know I’m bored with Taylor. Apparently both Camille and Yolanda are tired of her antics as well. Speaking of Yolanda, Taylor snipes that she knows some dirt about her husband. Minus 9 because she never says exactly what that is. Either put up or shut up Taylor. Yolanda certainly doesn’t look like she’s worried about anything Taylor has to say. She’s off decorating mansions in her spare time for her ex-husband Mohamed. Over at Kim’s, she’s called in a psychic for her ghostly activity. Yup, there are spirits roaming her home and she wants psychic Rebecca’s help to get to know them better. Plus 12. Rebecca’s full of helpful information. There’s some strange woman’s spirit sitting on the end of Kim’s bed and a bunch of future grandchildren running around. No, you can’t see them, but trust me. They’re there and they make Kim feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Or perhaps that’s the hearts she sees dancing in her fireplace. Has Kim been drinking again? No, Rebecca assures her that’s simply a spiritual portal she’s witnessing. Who knew Kim had such vision? Paul and Adrienne come out of hiding once more. Apparently Brandi’s big revelation was so upsetting they ran to New York to get away. Minus 20 . If they aren’t going to tell the audience what the secret that won’t be named is, I wish they’d all stop talking about it. It’s gotten boring. I also wish Kyle would stop pretending to be Brandi’s friend when she’s obviously not. She’ll side with Paul and Adrienne at every turn. With Brandi, she’s nothing but passive aggressive no matter how much she laments being caught in the middle of this feud. Minus 18. And can someone tell Kyle to buy longer matches or have an automatic igniter installed in that fireplace before she sets herself or the house ablaze? But Kyle’s got big plans. She’s opening up a new retail store with mean girl buddy, Faye and they head off to admire the boob jobs of mannequins. Minus 15 . It was kind of creepy to watch them feel up plastic women. All of the ladies head to Daniel Maltzman’s gallery opening where Yolanda haggles to get a deal on a painting and Ken hangs out with the women from the Amazon. You have to love that Ken can laugh at himself. Plus 14 when he looks at the photo and asks, “Who’s that bloody midget in the middle?” Kyle’s in attendance and wearing an outfit that makes her look like she just walked out of a 1980s music video. Minus 25 . The woman has to hire a better stylist. The headband alone had me seeing flashbacks. Then she hooks up with Paris Hilton. Apparently they’re related. That explains so much. Brandi’s trying hard to make friends, or at least mend fences. She invites the ladies to her stripper pole party. She’s going to be giving classes on getting your sexy back. Plus 21 . I wouldn’t miss that for the world. And then Brandi invites the ladies to Vegas. What could possibly go wrong there? Episode total = -50! Season total = -316!
