Starbucks policy does “not allow nonpaying people from the public to come in and use the restroom.” Ross said. Police then asked the men to leave, since Starbucks wanted them out but they reportedly refused. At that point the men were arrested without resistance and were later released after Starbucks declined to press charges, per Ross. Ross said the men were told they were trespassing and were “asked to leave politely,” three times. He said the men answered that “we don’t care,” which Ross called the “same type of attitude” Starbucks staff had described. Scott Disick may not seem like the type of guy who’s worth fighting over. Sure it seems like Scott’s alcoholism is relatively under control these days, but he’s still a guy who’s most famous for being terrible to the mother of his three children. So reports of a feud between Kourtney Kardashian and Sofia Richie are a bit unexpected, as we can’t imagine two successful women lowering themselves to the level of brawling it out over a man of Scott’s caliber. Though to be fair, the ill will might have little to do with the Lord. There have been reports that Kourtney believes Sofia is copying her style and generally displaying an unhealthy level of obsession. Sofia hasn’t commented on the accusations, but we’re guessing she’s not too happy with rumors that she’s scarily fixated on her boyfriend’s ex. But if she hopes to prove the critics wrong, Richie should probably be more careful about what she posts on Instagram. It all started when Kourt posted the above photo earlier this month. She captioned the shot “Paris, Texas,” even though the location tag revealed that she was in Tokyo at the time. We suppose it’s possible that Kourt had recently enjoyed a screening of the 1984 Wim Wenders-Harry Dean Stanton film of the same name. But fans jumped to the conclusion that the caption was actually a thinly-veiled shot at Scott and Sofia. You see, the couple had recently traveled from Paris to Texas, and though it seems a stretch to us, many believe this was Kourtney’s way of saying she’s traveling to more exotic locales in greater luxury. Shortly thereafter, Sofia posted the above pic, which many have interpreted as a clap back. The “Hit ‘Em Up” to Kourtney’s “Who Shot Ya?” if you will. As you can see, Sofia is similarly-posed, and her caption reads, “Mash up,” which many interpreted as a response to Kourt’s “Paris, Texas” jab. Richie is also rocking two different shoes, which some fans took as a jab at the unusual footwear in Kourt’s pic. Like we said, it’s a major stretch, but both women have shown themselves to be queens of subtle shade in the past. When Pippa Middleton married James Matthews back in 2017 royal watchers thought they’d uncovered everything there is to know about the revered Matthews clan. Like Pippa’s family, the Matthews are well-to-do commoners with several significant landholdings who enjoy a place of prominence in London society. It was revealed this week, however, that Pippa’s in-laws have been hiding a very dark secret for the past two decades. Several media outlets have confirmed that James’ father, David Matthews, was arrested at Paris’ Orly Airport this week in connection with statutory rape charges. Officials have been investigating allegations that Matthews had sex with an underage girl in the late nineties. This week, they were finally able to obtain a warrant for the 74-year-old businessman’s arrest. “I confirm that David M was placed in police custody on 27 March at the Brigade for the Protection of Minors,” a Paris judicial official tells The Telegraph . The official continued: “Following his arrest, the Paris public prosecutor’s office opened a judicial investigation, overlooked by an examining magistrate.” The authorities provided few details about the nature of Matthews’ alleged crimes, but The Telegraph reports that there were several incidents beginning in 1997. There’s no word yet regarding in which country the alleged misconduct took place. Matthews’ attorneys have dismissed the charges as “untrue and scandalous.” At this point, the case will pass from the police to the courts as judicial investigators seek to determine if there’s enough evidence to convict Matthews. While we’re sure their main concern is seeing that justice is served, the timing of the arrest is certainly not ideal for members of the royal family who are currently preparing for the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle . Times have changed, and royal marriages are no longer arranged for political expediency, but nevertheless, Harry and Meghan’s wedding is still an international event that will put one of the western world’s oldest institutions squarely at the center of the global stage. David Matthews may not be directly tied to the Royals, but his loose association to Kate, William, Meghan, and Harry is no doubt a source of concern for many within Buckingham Palace today.
