Jesus Take The Wheel: Pastor Commits Suicide After Telling Congregation That God Was Not Hearing Him

When the pastor loses faith …you know things are bad. Pastor Commits Suicide This is really sad. According to Raw Story: A Macon, Georgia pastor who expressed concern over his connection to God killed himself while his family and congregation were at his church, WMAZ-TV reported on Monday. The Rev. Teddy Parker Jr. was found dead outside his home with a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head following the Sunday service at Bibb Mount Zion Baptist Church. The Christian Post reported that Parker sent his wife and two daughters to the church ahead of him before the service. “When he didn’t show up they went looking for him,” a church member, Russell Rowland, told the Post. “I’m very surprised because he didn’t preach that. He preached totally against it. It’s something that the congregation don’t really understand.” The Post also cited a 2010 sermon, “Facing Your Storm With Confidence,” in which Parker told his parishoners there had been moments in his life when he did not feel his connection with God.“I try to pray but I don’t feel like God is hearing me,” Parker said at the time. “I try to serve but I don’t feel like God is using me. And there are times in your life when God purposely withdraws from you, he doesn’t withdraw for the sake of leaving you but he withdraws so you can grow and mature.” Prayers go out to his family.

$92 Quadrillion: Deposited Into User’s PayPal Account!

Chris Reynolds opened his June PayPal statement a little while ago and could not believe his good fortune. His great fortune, actually. His ridiculous fortune: the numbers said the Pennsylvania PR executive had a balance of… $92,233,720,368,547,800. We’ll do the math for you: That’s over 92 QUADRILLION dollars. “It’s a curious thing. I don’t know, maybe someone was having fun,” Reynolds said of the discovery, which would have made him the wealthiest man in the world by a large margin if legitimate. Unfortunately, when Reynolds checked the actual website, he saw his balance for what it truly is: $0. PayPal owned up to the mistake and offered to donate an unknown amount to a cause of Reynolds’ choosing. So that’s almost the same as being a quadrillionaire! “This is obviously an error and we appreciate that Mr. Reynolds understood this was the case,” PayPal said in a statement.

Mary-Louise Parker May Quit Acting Over "Mean-Spirited" Internet Users

Mary-Louise Parker has nearly had it with the blogosphere. The former Weeds star – who will next be seen in Red 2 and R.I.P.D . – told News Corp Australia that she’s “really not into” acting anymore due to the endless stream of hatred on the Internet. “The world has gotten too mean for me, it’s just too b—-y,” Parker said . “All the websites and all the blogging and all the people giving their opinion and their hatred … it’s all so mean-spirited, it’s all so critical.” Parker isn’t sure what inspires these users, but she can theorize. “It’s sport for people,” she said. “It’s fun to get on at night and unleash their own self-loathing by attacking someone else who they think has a happier life – or something.” The actress (who looks REALLY good naked ) said she tries to stay away from the comments or to brush them off, but it’s difficult. “You have no idea until it happens to you. It doesn’t feel nice,” she said. “I stay away from it as best I can because I’m too thin-skinned, but still it finds you.” And if Parker does drop out of the business? What might she do? “I would write still. I write for Esquire and writing makes me happy. I would take care of my kids and my goats. That’s about it. Bake. Throw my Internet in the lake.”

Minnesota Cheerleader Accused of Prostituting Fellow Student

Montia Marie Parker, an 18-year old student at Hopkins High School in Minnesota, is facing felony charges for allegedly pimping out a 16-year girl with developmental issues. The cheerleader is accused of setting up a Backpage.com ad for the younger student; driving this girl to a man’s apartment for oral sex; and pocketing the $60 she made from the act. According to The Minnesota Star Tribune , the victim’s mother called the police after discovering disturbing text messages on her daughter’s phone. Parker posted photos of the girl on Backpage.com, along with her own phone number for anyone who wanted to get in contact about a meeting. Following the aforementioned oral sex incident (in which Parker deposited the $60 into her bank account), the 18-year old reportedly pretended to be the younger girl’s daughter, calling the school to get her excused and taking the girl to have sex with another client. But she refused this time. Parker has admitted to creating the Backpage ad and is fee on $50,000 bond. She is due to appear in court June 12.

Tennessee Department Of Corrections Disciplines 70 Inmates For Posting “Prison Party” Photos Of Kush, Snacks, And Shenanigans On Facebook!

How the hell are these ninjas dot-comming from prison?!? SMH 70 Tennessee Inmates Disciplined For Posting Inappropriate Pics On Facebook Via WSMV The Tennessee Department of Correction launched investigations in 14 prisons and disciplined 70 inmates following a report by the Channel 4 I-Team that showed inmates using drugs and partying behind bars and showing it off on Facebook. The Channel 4 I-Team found more than 100 inmates operating Facebook pages from behind bars – posting photos and videos of convicted criminals claiming to be using drugs, flashing large amounts of cash, partying, hoarding snacks and, in one case, setting a shirt on fire inside a prison cell. The discovery of the Facebook pages raises real questions for correction officials, because inmates don’t have Internet access and cell phones are prohibited. The Channel 4 I-Team found many of the inmates who are enjoying Facebook, communicating with family and friends and sharing pictures are convicted murderers and rapists. In one case Ivan Moreno – who strangled and murdered Bellevue grandmother Mary Sadler – was found on Facebook, showing pictures of himself playing a guitar inside a cell. “My eyes started watering. I started shaking. I couldn’t believe I could see him again,” said Sadler’s granddaughter, Michelle Elliot. Moreno isn’t the only one getting his social swerve on however… The Channel 4 I-Team also found convicted murderer Brandon White, who killed Ryan Wright, posting pictures of his phone and holding $200 cash. “That’s not punishment. That’s not any kind of punishment. It’s just like being out on the outside. It’s still freedom for them,” said Ryan’s mother, Linda Wright. “We can never communicate again. And he (Brandon White) has access to be able to communicate with the outside world.” Welp Linda, the joke’s on you and your family, and the DOC doesn’t seem like they are in a rush to solve the problem The victims’ families said when the criminals were sentenced to prison, they never imagined them posting photos of themselves to Facebook watching TV or burying themselves in junk food. We showed all the pictures and videos to TDOC Assistant Commissioner Tony Parker, who is in charge of security in state prisons. “Is this too extravagant for a guy to have who is behind bars?” Finley asked. “Obviously, this inmate is trying to be flagrant and show off all this property. Obviously, it’s an issue,” Parker said. Finley asked how all this can be happening while correctional officers are watching. “It’s not an issue of not enough correctional officers. It’s an issue of a nationwide problem with cell phones and the struggle to stay on top of it,” Parker said. Pretty weak answer bruh, perhaps you should try again. According to the report, although the inmates are facing disciplinary action, their Facebook accounts Is THIS what taxpayers are spending their hard-earned money on?!?!? That’s some ol’ bullisht! Don’t Let The Do’ Knob Hit Ya: ESPN Decides NOT To Renew Rob “Black Hate” Parker’s Contract In Light Of “Cornball Brotha” Comments About RG3!

When keepin’ it “real” goes wrong… ESPN Will Not Renew Rob Parker’s Comments Via ESPN ESPN will not renew its contract with commentator Rob Parker, who was suspended last month following remarks he made on “First Take” in which he questioned Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III’s “blackness.” “Rob Parker’s contract expired at year’s end. Evaluating our needs and his work, including his recent RG III comments, we decided not to renew his deal,” an ESPN spokesperson said in a statement Tuesday. During a Dec. 13 episode of “First Take” on ESPN2, Parker was discussing Griffin’s answer to a question about Griffin’s role as an African-American quarterback. In questioning Griffin’s “blackness,” Parker cited that Griffin has a white fiancée and is rumored to be Republican. Among his comments, Parker, who is black, said: “Is he a brother or a cornball brother?” Parker later issued an apology on his Twitter account. A day later, on Dec. 20, ESPN announced he was suspended for 30 days. Smooth move Rob, apparently ESPN would rather you and your ugly suits stay away from their airwaves before you embarrass them any further, sayonara sucka. Image via ESPN

For Discussion: ESPN Commentator Who Called RGIII A “Cornball Brotha” Explains His Comments…’Black Athletes Tend To Push Away From Their People’

Rob Parker, the ESPN commentator who made slick remarks about RGIII and his “blackness,” has made his first comments since being suspended. He states that the idea behind his views are based on conversations within the black community. According to Washington CBS Local: Shortly before Robert Griffin III led the Washington Redskins to the team’s first home playoff game in 13 years, an ESPN commentator who questioned the quarterback’s standing as a black man made his first on-air comments since his suspension. Rob Parker, who was suspended last month for referring to the rookie quarterback as a “cornball brother” with possible Republican leanings, offered his first on-air interview since the incident on ESPN. In an interview with WDIV-TV in Detroit, Parker, a contributor for ESPN’s “First Take,” clarified that the controversial segment came from normal, everyday conversations that happen in the black community and was not intended to be directed at Griffin. “It was just a conversation that’s had in the black community when athletes or famous entertainers or whatever push away from their people,” Parker said. “That’s what it’s about.” Parker added: “The whole thing is, and I want to make this clear, I wasn’t saying he wasn’t being black enough. When people say that, it’s just not true. I was saying these are conversations that take place once a guy pushes away. It was never aimed at him, [nor] was I calling him that.” Before the segment took place, Parker said the staff had gone over what he had planned on saying during a pre-production meeting. He said that the ESPN staff had an idea of where the conversation was going to go, but that it wasn’t meant to slam RGIII or be malicious. “It was never to condemn the young man,” Parker said. “RGIII is a great, young man with a bright future.” SMH. Nice save, buddy. On a sidenote, RGIII (and his doppelgänger Pusha T) need to retire those braids….STAT!!! Discuss…
