Joseph Purcell and Joscelin Yeo married

Mr Joseph Purcell, 27, who is from the US, is an assistant pastor at New Creation Church. Former national swimmer Joscelin Yeo is getting married. The 31-year-old and her boyfriend of three years, Mr Joseph Purcell, will get hitched at HortPark on July 9. In a Straits Times interview last year, she said she and Mr Purcell have “similar values which is really important to me”. Miss Yeo, who became a Nominated Member of Parliament last July, added: “We click… We just really enjoy each other.”

Charlie Sheen’s Plea Deal Stalled Over Time Off, Cigarettes, Soda and More

Nearly a month ago, Charlie Sheen tried to pave the way for nicotine-addicted criminals in Aspen, Colorado by pushing his attorney to fight for prisoner cigarette privileges . Despite Sheen and Co.’s arguments, the jail did not waver in its strict “nicotine patches only” rule. But then the Two and a Half Men actor worked out a plea deal in which he would spend 30 days in jail (less with good behavior) with a work release program, which meant that he would be off of jail premises and free to smoke as many Parliament Lights as his lungs can stand between 8 AM and 8 PM. Until Pitkin County’s Jail Administrative Officer stepped in.

Portugal To Approve Marriage Equality

Sources in the administration of Portuguese Prime Minister José Sócrates say that one of the first plans for his new government will be to approve marriage equality. Via Bay Windows : “The measure is part of the official program of the party and according to government sources, the move will be done as soon as [formation of] the government is complete,” writes correspondent João Paulo from PortugalGay.pt.

Apple building secret massive data center

Apple is building a new data center facility in North Carolina. Nobody knows what is it for, but according to Data Center Knowledge editor Rich Miller, it will be one of the largest in the world: Apple is planning about 500,000 square feet of data center space in a single building.
