Who knew Iron Mike Tyson had become so sentimental in his old age?? First, he’s crying in public . Now, TMZ reports Tyson and his wife of two years just went all out to renew their vows in a surprise ceremony. TMZ has learned … Tyson and his wife Lakiha invited hundreds of friends to a joint birthday party they threw for each other at the M Resort … but the b-day party was merely a cover for a secret vow renewal. After the guests arrived to the party, the couple disappeared … only to re-emerge behind a massive curtain … which dropped to reveal both Mike and Lahika dressed in wedding outfits. With the crowd completely surprised, the couple proceeded to renew their vows in a traditional Muslim ceremony. We’re told the two decided to do the big “wedding” party this time around because they skipped out on a celebration when they were secretly married at a small Vegas chapel back in 2009 … two weeks after Mike’s 4-year-old daughter passed away. Sources tell us the party was AWESOME — guests had their choice of a steak or chicken entree … and then they partied it up in the hotel’s ballroom with a live band. Ain’t that precious. Mazel Tov! Opposition figure Hazel Poa has been elected as the new secretary-general of the National Solidarity Party (NSP) after the Central Executive Committee (CEC) of the party met on Sunday. Mr Sebastian Teo retains his position as party president. Meanwhile, Mr Tony Tan, Mrs Jeannette Chong Aruldoss and Ms Nicole Seah were elected as council members. Lauren Conrad and Kyle Howard have broken up after three years of dating. People confirmed the split late Friday, though neither party has commented. The former reality star, 25, and actor, 33, deliberately kept their romance far away from cameras. But they have been spotted out and about all over Hollywood since they began dating in 2008 and never seemed anything but happy. It’s sad news, obviously, whenever a good relationship ends. Despite the plethora of entertainment options for rap stars, some have skills that you wouldn’t believe. In fact, during a recent interview one rapper shared that despite being a “good guy” he can whip tail on the spot. He’s been training in the martial arts since he was a kid — and thanks to his Black Panther Party member daddy he even knows how to shoot, dismantle weapons and basically reek havoc on lesser beings. Missy Elliott Reveals Battle With Graves’ Disease

The rapper/producer released a string of offbeat smash hits and landmark music videos in the late 1990s and early 2000s that stretched from her breakthrough single “The Rain” in 1997 to 2001’s “Get Ur Freak On” and 2002’s “Work It.” But after a couple of softer-selling efforts in the mid 2000s, Elliott seemed to fall off the radar. Now the increasingly reclusive MC has explained why her long-promised comeback album, Block Party, has been so long in coming and where she’s been for the past three years. The 39-year-old Grammy winner told People magazine that she’s battling the autoimmune disorder Graves’ disease. “You live with it for the rest of your life,” Elliott said. Elliott was diagnosed with the disease in 2008, and she’s suffered from a litany of effects, including a loss of some motor skills, dizzy spells, lumps in her throat, mood swings, hair loss, a fast heart rate and bulging eyes. She underwent radiation treatment, has been taking medication and said she’s now feeling better. The disease affects the thyroid gland, whose hormones regulate the body’s metabolism and affect mood, weight and energy. It causes hyperthyroidism, which produces an excess of the thyroid hormone, causing the symptoms Elliott discussed, as well as anxiety, double vision and muscle weakness. Though the symptoms are uncomfortable, when caught early and treated, long-term health effects can be avoided. The weakness was so bad, Elliott said , that she nearly crashed her car because she couldn’t press down on the brake, and she could hardly even hold a pen in her hand. “I’m 30 pounds lighter because I’ve been exercising,” said Elliott, who will be the first subject of the upcoming season of VH1’s “Behind the Music” biography series on June 29. “My thyroid is functioning, so I haven’t had to take medication in about nine months.” Related Artists Missy Elliott

Another point, an Alabama producer is behind the video and his twitter account and picture are below. The other few candidates he previously helped with youtube videos… all lost. “This ad is incredibly offensive and sexist to all women,” Hahn campaign manager Dave Jacobson told TPM. “The producer of this ad should be ashamed of himself and Craig Huey should be ashamed to have this kind of thing produced on his behalf.” Jacobson called on Huey to “come out and condemn this ad immediately.” In a statement EMILY’s List, which has endorsed Hahn, called the ad “the most vile, racist, sexist ad we have ever seen” and also called on Huey to condemn it. Huey’s campaign did not respond to a request for comment. Neither did the Los Angeles County GOP. California Republican Party spokesperson Mark Standriff distanced the party and Huey from the web ad. “The video in question is highly offensive and totally inappropriate,” he said “and has no connection whatsoever to the Huey campaign or the California Republican Party.” On his website, Ehlinger preemptively refuted charges that the ad is racist: Before you charge racism at the ad, consider her one line in the video: “It takes a different kind of person to speak the language.” By that she means, it takes black people to talk to black people. 2005 statistics from the LAPD reported that the vast majority of L.A.’s gang population is made up of predominately Latino gangs. How much can I possibly love Blake Lively without seeming like a complete creep? Are pictures of her on the ceiling over my bed a little too much? My girlfriend hates it, but I feel it really brings the room together. Anyhow, here she is looking sexy at the premiere of that Green Lantern garbage in a dress that I want to say is see through, but I can’t see anything other than those long legs of hers so let’s call it half see through.
