The life of Lindsay Lohan is almost too ludicrous to believe sometimes. Last night, the alleged actress returned to the scene of the alleged crime from two weeks ago, when she allegedly got into a fight with some woman. This time, LiLo rolled to The Standard Hotel in Hollywood and went to Smoke and Mirrors, the same nightclub … and got into it with another woman. Lindsay’s friend drove her car to the hotel, with the star in the passenger seat. The driver pulled into the parking garage and promptly hit another car. Witnesses say Lindsay called her sometimes-estranged, oft-jailed father, Michael Lohan, for help, and he dutifully showed up … and then hung out! MiLo took his little girl inside the club and the two chilled for hours, without any alcohol. Cute! It was all fun until some moron had to go mouth off. Around closing time, a woman in the booth next to theirs made a snide comment about Lindsay showing up with her dad. LiLo was far from happy. According to reports Young Buck and two other passengers were riding in his SUV at 3am Sunday morning in Nashville, TN when another car drove along side them and opened fire. Buck’s truck was riddled with eleven bullets, but the rapper was unhurt. His passenger was not so lucky. The young lady sitting in the front seat was hit in the shoulder. Well ain’t that about a itchbay? Transgender people are not allowed to board flights in Canada! There is a disturbing new section in the Identity Screening Regulations used in airports throughout Canada. Simply put, Transgender People are Completely Banned From Boarding Airplanes in Canada. The offending section of the regulations reads: 5.2 (1) An air carrier shall not transport a passenger if … (c) the passenger does not appear to be of the gender indicated on the identification he or she presents; Although this obviously discriminatory smear of regulation did not come to significant public attention until very recently, it apparently came into effect on July 27th, 2011. It is important to note that these regulations are not actually a piece of legislation, which would have had to pass through readings and votes in the House and Senate (which is probably why it went unnoticed until now). Rather, the Identity Screening Regulations are a set of rules implemented unilaterally by the Ministry of Transportation, as part of Canada’s so-called Passenger Protect, which is essentially the Canadian Federal Government’s equivalent to the U.S.’s “no-fly” list. Minister of Transportation Denis Lebel is, of course, a federal Conservative MP appointed to the cabinet position by Stephen Harper. So what does this mean? Well, in order to change the ‘sex’ designation on a Canadian Passport, the federal government requires proof that surgery has taken place, or will take place within one year. So for non-operative transgender persons, for gender nonconforming (genderqueer) persons, and for the vast majority of pre-operative transsexual persons, it is literally impossible to obtain proper travel documentation marked with the sex designation which “matches” the gender identity in which they live. In the eyes of the honourable Minister of Transportation, that makes trans people unfit to fly in Canada. It is interesting to note that this regulatory adjustment occurred immediately following the federal election in 2011. In the previous parliament, Bill C-389, a bill to amend the Human Rights Code to explicitly enshrine protections against discrimination for transgender people, had successfully passed in the House of Commons, only to die on the Senate floor when Harper declared a Federal Election (thereby dissolving parliament). A legion of dedicated Beliebers lined up outside and gathered at the famed department store hoping to catch even a glimpse of the star. When MTV News caught up with the Biebs, he told us much he appreciated his fans’ overwhelming enthusiasm. “My fans are crazy. They wait out in the rain and anything, so they’re crazy, they’re awesome!” he said. “I just think that what we decided to do — making the fragrance for females, not getting a cologne for males — I said it before and I’ll say it again, I’m more concerned about how girls smell ’cause I’m a guy and I know what smells good and I know what I like so girls should know, if [I like] it, then other guys are going to like it.” But some fans may have been too enthusiastic. One out of three Americans will be involved in an alcohol-related crash in their lifetime, MADD tells MTV News. By Gil Kaufman Ryan Dunn Photo: Dickhouse Productions The high-speed death of “Jackass” star Ryan Dunn on Monday is the latest harsh reminder of the deadly consequences of mixing alcohol and automobiles. As the site of the crash that took the life of Dunn, 34, and his passenger, Zachary Hartwell , 30, transforms into a makeshift memorial and cautionary tale about the dangers of drinking and driving , experts told MTV News that these kinds of accidents are not unusual but totally preventable. “In my experience, it’s quite a common thing,” said Jan Withers, president-elect of MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Driving), whose 15-year-old daughter was killed when the drunk driver of the car she was riding in lost control of the vehicle. “A person has had several drinks, their judgment becomes impaired and so do their inhibitions. Their reaction time is slowed down, and so they can’t react in time.” Accident-reconstruction teams have estimated that at around 2:30 a.m. Monday, Dunn, who a preliminary toxicology report shows was intoxicated, was driving his 2007 Porsche 911 GT3 between 132 and 140 mph in a 55 mph zone. The Porsche collided with a guardrail and went soaring through about 40 yards of trees before hitting one and bursting into flames. According to the Chester County coroner’s office, Dunn’s blood alcohol level was .196, more than twice the .08 legal limit in Pennsylvania. The report also says there were no “drugs of abuse” detected in Dunn’s system. Dunn’s family and friends, including “Jackass” stars Bam Margera and Johnny Knoxville, attended a private memorial service on Wednesday. A public service is expected to be announced at a later date. The most crucial advice MADD offers to drivers is that if you are going out and alcohol will be involved, decide before you leave the house how you are going to get home by either being sober yourself or having a sober driver. “Before you have a drink, know how you will get home safely,” Withers said, noting that 11,000 people a year are killed in drunk-driving crashes and that 350,000 people are injured every year as a result of drunk driving. In fact, she said, the grim truth is that one in three Americans will be involved in an alcohol-related crash in their lifetime. The details of the Dunn crash — which was preceded by a celebration involving the “Jackass” star and his passenger — sounded sadly familiar to Withers. “It is [often] a situation where people go out and start celebrating and have a couple of drinks and think, ‘I’m fine.’ But in reality, people can’t decide whether they’re fine or not. Many people who are completely impaired think they are totally sober. They literally don’t know.” Withers, who said her heart goes out to Dunn and Hartwell’s family and friends, added that it is up to all of us to make sure these accidents are avoided. “It’s your responsibility as their friend to make sure you take the keys away and find them a way home with a sober driver,” she said. “It’s absolutely essential that they don’t get behind the wheel.” The coroner’s report lists blunt force trauma and thermal trauma as the official causes of death for Dunn and Iraq war vet Hartwell, who was credited as a production assistant on “Jackass Number Two” and was working with Dunn on his new G4 show “Proving Ground.” Hours before the crash, Dunn tweeted a photo of himself, Hartwell and another man at Barnaby’s of America, a West Chester bar. Official said on Wednesday that Barnaby’s will not be charged in the case because Dunn did not “appear” intoxicated during the time he was served two beers and six shots by bar employees over four hours. The Philadelphia Inquirer reported Wednesday that Dunn received at least 23 driving-related citations in the past 13 years, 90 percent of which ended in guilty pleas, including 10 stops for speeding and careless driving and three more for driving with a suspended license. In 2005, he was arrested for drunken driving, but charges were dropped when he completed a probationary program; his license was suspended for more than a year, according to court records. Even for a stoner this is pretty damn dumb… An Elgin man who got a case of the munchies was arrested Monday after an officer witnessed him smoking marijuana in the drive-through lane of McDonald’s, according to police. The officer was in the drive-through lane of the restaurant at 401 Summit St., Elgin, about 12:30 a.m. Monday when he smelled marijuana in the air, according to police spokeswoman Sue Olafson. Upon investigation, the officer determined the passenger of the car in front of him was smoking the illegal substance. Police say they found additional cannabis in a container in the vehicle. In total, 1.4 grams was confiscated, Olafson said. Jose Barrera, 21, of the 600 block of St. Charles Street, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance. He has since been released on $120 bond. Please sir for the love of Mary Jane get your life together. It’s just not wise to smoke weed when there is a Police officer sitting behind you. SMH Source
