It’s safe to say Castle did not ring in the new year with one of its lighter episodes. Quite the opposite, in fact, as Castle Season 6 Episode 11 featured an arsonist-turned-murder, a majorly charred corpse and the seemingly real possibility that Espo would miss the birth of his child. Because he’d be dead. “Under Fire,” in fact, featured both Esposito and Ryan fighting for their lives, engulfed by flames in the basement of warehouse. A secret , sub -basement, that is. Neil Patrick Harris Drinks Many Margaritas, Chronicles Levels of Drunkenness in Mexico

We’ve found yet another skill possessed by Neil Patrick Harris. The actor can sing, he can dance , he can make us laugh… and, boy, can he drink! Harris finished off a recent vacation in Mexico by chronicling an afternoon of drinking via, beginning his fun day in the sun by writing: “Last day of our Mexico adventure. Let’s see just how many margaritas I can drink.” As you can see, it began innocently enough. Three drinks later, NPH said he was “Feeling great. Can’t find my book…” Yummy yum yum, he then exclaimed, while waiting eagerly for margarita number-seven: 12 drinks in? “I’s the life of the party!!” Harris wrote. Everybodyone is LOVING me!!” Things got a little sleepier from there, however. “Margarita #17: Maaaybeee shud take break I shud maybeee. #ifoundahat,” the star wrote.” It was then time to lie down: And, finally, time to REALLY lie down, as Harris concluded the montage with this caption: “Magachita #3, 4 mebbe? : Bruuuglah dret scruh nuu rezzlooshun! I love Lily Aldridge as much as the next dude, but I’ve gotta say, I’m not super impressed by these pics of her at the airport. Not to get overly scientific or anything, but I’ve got a theory on Lily: I think her hotness directly correlates to how much clothing she’s wearing. T.R. Knight: Married!

Former Grey’s Anatomy cast member T.R. Knight has married his boyfriend, known only (to us) as Patrick, after three years together, Us Weekly reports . The 40-year-old actor tied the knot with Patrick Friday in an intimate ceremony in New York City. His former co-star Katherine Heigl even flew in for it. T.R. is currently starring as Mercutio in an off-Broadway production of Romeo & Juliet alongside Elizabeth Olsen, but took the weekend off for the occasion. “It [was] very small and quiet,” a source told the celebrity news magazine. ”[The] cast wishes they could go too, but they all congratulated him.” Knight starred on Grey’s Anatomy from 2005-09 before leaving by request. His character, George, was killed off. He was famously outed by Isaiah Washington. Congratulations on the nuptials, T.R. and Patrick!

Sexist Gorilla Sent to Live in South Carolina

A 430-pound gorilla named Patrick is on the move from Dallas to South Carolina. But he isn’t taking a vacation to check out the sights. Deputy Dallas Zoo Director Lynn Kramer says the animal was neglected by his mother and raised by humans – and, as a result, has had difficulty bonding with other members of his species. Especially, the females. Sexist Gorilla Sent to South Carolina “We’ve made a colossal effort to work with him,” Kramer told The Dallas Morning News . “He’s definitely a staff favorite and he would have been a successful leader for a troupe here. But it was not to be.” Patrick has reportedly treated women worse than Joe Francis , nipping at them and “exerting dominance” when placed in their vicinity, according to the zoo’s latest posting on Facebook. The females “became so stressed that they couldn’t eat,” the zoo sadly explained. Due to his behavior, Patrick will live in his own enclosure at the Riverbanks Zoo and Garden in Columbia, South Carolina. “Patrick isn’t going away for “therapy” and he’s not “antisocial,” the zoo said in a statement. “He is simply socialized more to people than to gorillas, so he prefers to be alone. This carefully planned move has been years in the making, involving gorilla experts from across the nation, and is the best move for him and for our Zoo.”

The Wu-Tang Clan performed at Bonnaroo 2013 , which would have been noteworthy enough, but it was an unexpected attendee who stole the show: Their American Sign Language interpreter! As the remaining members of the legendary hip-hop group did their thing, the palpable energy was almost upstaged by the moves of the ASL translator. That’s signing with swag, people! Wu-Tang ASL Interpreter Between this woman and Lydia Callis , Michael Bloomberg’s ASL interpreter who became a viral star after Superstorm Sandy, sign language has never been so cool!

Demi Lovato Addresses Dad’s Death, Thanks Fans for Well Wishes

Demi Lovato has spoken out for the first time since her father’s death . The singer and X Factor judge acknowledged the passing of Patrick Lovato with a Tweet last night, telling her 15 million-plus followers: “I feel so humbled to have had so much support from my fans, friends, family and complete strangers. God bless you all, thank you so much love.” Demi’s dad reportedly battled cancer for many years before succumbing to the diseased on Saturday. It’s unclear just what the state of Lovato’s relationship with this parent was at the time, as she said in 2009 that she had not spoken to Patrick in two years. “When somebody lets you down after you’ve been the only one there for them, and so many times, you don’t know what else to do,” Demi said back then. The artist sang about the strained relationship “For the Love of a Daughter,” which was included on her 2010 “Unbroken” album.
