I can’t tell if it’s because of my association with Dior or because I’m older, but I’ve started moisturizing,” the 26-year-old divulged. He added, very importantly: “I’ve started moisturizing. Despite her confident claims on Twitter, police have determined that Amanda Bynes was NOT sexually harassed by any members of its force last Thursday night prior to her arrest. The troubled actress responded to her booking for disorderly conduced by alleging an officer ” slapped [her] vagina ” and has since added that she plans to sue the department . But the NYPD has now responded with a statement that reads: “Internal Affairs investigators have found no evidence to corroborate Ms. Bynes’ allegations. To the contrary, a credible civilian witness who was with the officers throughout told investigators that none touched Ms. Bynes inappropriately or otherwise engaged in misconduct at any time.” Call us (or her , to be more accurate) crazy, but we somehow doubt this release will quiet Amanda’s Twitter account. In her most recent online rant, Bynes denied slamming Rihanna and referred to herself as a “model citizen” who is allergic to marijuana and alcohol.
A sad and miraculous story out of China this week: A newborn baby that was flushed down a toilet and discovered by a woman who heard crying inside a sewage pipe is now resting at the hospital and is expected to make a full recovery. The unnamed child fractured his skull in the horrific incident, but has been upgraded from critical to stable as doctors continue to treat him back to health. Said a nurse at Pujiang County People’s Hospital in the city of Jinhua, Zhejiang: “The mother has been found. She is right now in the hospital. I heard she is a 22 year-old single woman. I don’t know the reason she abandoned the baby.” The nurse added that many strangers have responded to this story by arriving at the hospital with diapers, formula and other items. Some have even expressed an interest in adoption. The baby weighs 6.2 pounds and his placenta was still attached when firefighters broke off a piece of the pipe and transported it to the hospital so physicians could safely remove the newborn inside. Local police are treating this as an attempted homicide.
