Next Singer’s Estranged Wife Gets Restraining Order Against Him SMH. Kicking your wife while she is pregnant is a straight itchbay move. According to TMZ: The estranged wife of Raphael Brown — one of the members of the 90s R&B group Next — claims he viciously kicked her while she was pregnant and brutalized their daughter. Juliette Gil-Brown got a restraining order against Raphael — obtained by TMZ — in which she claims on multiple occasions he hit and shoved her, grabbed her by the neck, punched her in the mouth and kicked her in the stomach … and some of the violence occurred when she was pregnant. Juliette also claims last month Brown became enraged at their 4-year-old daughter after she refused to kiss him on the mouth. She says he yelled at the kid and shoved her into the car seat. She says he then started yelling about not having herpes, even though no one brought up herpes. And Juliette says Raphael looked at freaky flicks on the computer when their kids were in the room. Lauryn Hill isn’t the only one with money problems … Wyclef Jean’s Business Manager Says He Is Broke Former Fugees member Wyclef Jean is reportedly broke, according his business manager. Via NewsOne reports: The Smoking Gun reports that the entertainer, who only a couple of years ago tried to run for the Haitian presidency, reportedly is in debt to Uncle Sam to the tune of $2.9 million in tax liens. Through a confidential agreement that was drawn up, the international 44-year-old Haitian ambassador reportedly said he would fork over $100,000 to entertainment law firm Shukat Arrow Hafer Weber & Herbsman to settle an outstanding bill of $133,000. Jean, according to The Smoking Gun, was requested to satisfy his outstanding debt with the law firm via two installments: $10,000 by last August 1 and another $50,000 by the end of last year. According to the alleged agreement, if Jean made the two payments totaling $60,000, the law firm would waive $40,000. If the entertainer, however, failed to make good on the agreement, an additional ten percent annual interest would also get tacked on to the $100,000. Jean did not make any payments to the firm, according to The Smoking Gun. His accountant, David Levin, reportedly sent out an email in January to the celeb’s creditors stating, “in my most professional verbiage…there ain’t no money.” The email was sent out in response to the law firm’s threats of impending court action against Jean. Levin reportedly told the legal eagles to go ahead and “file it” and they did. Now, Jean reportedly owes the firm $102,027.40. He has had other money woes in the past as well. Following the Haitian earthquake, Jean was questioned about the handling of the finances of his now defunct charitable organization, Yele Haiti. The non-profit foundation collected over $16 million in donations following the series of earthquakes that decimated the island’s capital city, Port-Au-Prince. Shook Ones … But can you blame her? Fortunately he left without causing any problems. According to NY Daily News reports : A New Jersey woman’s nightmare began after she woke up. The unidentified Montclair woman jolted awake at 4:50 a.m. on Thursday and found herself staring straight into the eyes of a shirtless man. “Are you ready for me?” the intruder asked, standing at the foot of her bed in nothing but blue jeans. The terrified woman screamed at the top of her lungs, while the man walked “casually” out the apartment’s back door, The Star-Ledger reports. Detective-Sergeant Wilhelm B. Young said the intruder never attempted to move closer or touch the woman. The woman told cops she may have left the back door of her Pine Street apartment building open that night. The intruder is described as 30 to 40 years old, very thin and wearing “some sort of head wear.” We’re glad she’s okay. The stranger in the house scenario is no bueno. SMH: Rich Couple With Yacht And $3 Million In The Bank Defrauded Government Out Of $167,000 In Welfare Benefits

So many people really need government assistance and these two lowlifes were just living it up. Rich Couple Received Welfare Benefits How long did they think they could trick the government before the jig was up? According to Raw Story: A Minnesota couple who owned a yacht, rented a luxurious home on Lake Minnetonka, and had about $3 million in the bank has been charged with welfare fraud. Authorities said Andrea and Colin Chisholm misled benefit workers for years as they cashed more than $167,000 in welfare checks for food, medical bills, and job training between 2005 and 2012. They had received benefits from Minnesota agencies while living for two years in Florida, reported the Minnesota Star Tribune, where they also obtained welfare benefits. Medica fraud investigators suspected wrongdoing when they learned the couple lived in a lakeside home and had spent part of their $60,000 in medical claims for massages and spa visits. Freeman said “Lord and Lady Chisholm” had been cut off at one point but managed to get back into the welfare system. If they’re convicted, the couple faces a maximum 20-year prison term and $100,000 fine, but the charge also carries the possibility of probation – although Freeman doubted a judge would allow them to avoid prison. But first authorities must find the couple, who vacated their home and pulled their son from school. Investigators believe they’ve gone somewhere warm, if not out of the country entirely. According to NY Daily News: Mark Sanchez knew this day was coming even as he wished in a strange sort of way that it wouldn’t. There was no shock when the Jets officially released him on Friday, no disbelief when the organization ended a strange five-year relationship with their erstwhile Golden Boy.  The Jets also officially signed Michael Vick, the team announced via Twitter. The Jets moved on many months ago, filed Sanchez neatly away into the past as they crossed their fingers that the new kid taking his place will be the real deal. Sanchez had his shot. They had no use for him anymore. The NFL is giving Mike another chance to be great. Let’s hope he can do just that.

He died defending his daughter from some  low life. So sad. Man Dies Defending Daughter’s Honor Against Racial Slurs We hope the racist scumbag who did this gets hard time. According to Chicago Tribune: Every weekday, Masharah Tingling says her dad would walk her to her school and be waiting for her when classes finished up. But on Wednesday afternoon, their ritual went terribly wrong when the two were confronted by a man with a lengthy criminal record on a Rogers Park street, according to Chicago police and Cook County prosecutors. When the man hurled a racial epithet at them, Michael Tingling pulled his 15-year-old daughter behind him, authorities said. The man then struck her father in the chest, he tried to defend himself but moments later he collapsed in a nearby business and was rushed to the hospital in full cardiac arrest, according to prosecutors. Michael Tingling, 59, was pronounced dead at St. Francis Hospital in Evanston less than a hour. According to the mother, Firek “stared at them, looked at her up and down, and her dad grabbed her, put her behind him and he told him, ‘You need to walk away.’“The guy was just standing there grinning,” she said. In court, prosecutors said Tingling had pulled his daughter behind him after Firek had stopped in their path and asked, “What (N-word)?” Authorities said Tingling is black and Firek is white. Assistant State’s Attorney Rita Infelise said Firek punched Tingling in the upper chest. Tingling pushed him, and Firek punched him again in the chest, she said. A judge ordered Joseph Firek, 59, who is on parole for a residential burglary conviction, held on $250,000 bail Friday on charges of first-degree murder and a hate crime. It’s a shame people can’t even pick up their daughter from school without experiencing such hate.

Only in Florida Woman Accused Of Performing Illegal C-Section On Dog What type of person does some fawkery like this? According to NY Daily News: A Florida woman is accused of performing a lethal C-section on a dog without anesthesia before using non-surgical glue to close the incision. Candace Patricia Hauser, who authorities said did not have a license to practice veterinary care, was arrested in Tampa Saturday — a little more than a week after the Mastiff died from its senseless injuries. Authorities say the trouble began after dog owner Brenda Hines of Winter Haven brought the pregnant Mastiff to Hauser for help after the dog went into labor on March 4. “She takes it over to the woman and the woman starts to help this dog birth by manual means — she actually reached into the dog and pulls 12 puppies out,” said Ron Spiller with the Hillsborough County Animal Safety and Enforcement. It was when the dog had trouble delivering her last two puppies that Spilled said Hauser, 31, decided to open the dog up, without anesthesia. “She glued the incision, she didn’t suture it, she glued it,” Spiller said of her handiwork once the puppies were out. The dog, described by her owner to police as in declining health, died in her owner’s car. She faces a maximum of five years behind bars and the lost right to own animals in Hillsborough County. Fake Podiatry Student Wanted For Sucking Toes At Walmart Via WSCOTV reports: North Carolina police need the public’s help in identifying a man who is accused in a bizarre incident at a Walmart store. Police said a woman said that an unidentified black man started a conversation with her saying that he was a podiatrist student. The victim told police the man talked her into trying on several pair of shoes in the shoe department. At one point, the victim said the man took her foot, put it into his mouth and sucked on her toes, police said. Police released photos of the man and asks anyone who may know him to contact Crime Stoppers at 704-736-8909.
