One of the most frequent questions I get from people is “What is the secret to your success?” Honestly, the “secret” to MY success is the success of the people around me! Its true, I draw my motivation from others I see doing well. In life, we have a choice to be jealous when we see another person succeed or inspired by their success. My choice is the latter… I came across this quote and video of LL Cool J and it appears that he and I share the same ideology, here’s what he had to say on the topic: “You get in life what you give out. If you want the world to celebrate your success, you have to celebrate the success of the world. And use others’ success as motivation and inspiration to go after your dreams.”- L.L. I’m hardly surprised to see J.Lo in a bikini, covering her shitty parts, cuz she’s in her 40s…but I am still surprised she won People’s Most Beautiful people, I mean before remembering that everything is fucking paid for and staged in a marketing campaign, it’s just too subtle for the average person to grasp, cuz the average person is an idiot and likely believes she’s the most beautiful person, even though, as you’ll notice in these bikini pics, she definitely fucking isn’t…. Yay… To See The Rest of the Pics FOLLOW THIS LINK
The Comic-Con crowd has always been good to Jon Favreau — recall the splash he made here in 2007 with Iron Man , a geek director finding his people — and charmingly (or cunningly, but mostly charmingly) Favreau knows it. So even without a panel to present at Comic-Con this year, he brought his latest film, the sci-fi Western Cowboys & Aliens , to San Diego in a big way: By hosting an enormous premiere filled with cast, crew, hundreds of fans, and a rousing, touching speech that seemed to genuinely come from the heart.
Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson are moving on. Not from each other. But from The Twilight Saga. Pattinson will star in Bel Ami later this year, the first trailer for which was released this week. Stewart, meanwhile, will update a classic fairy tale in Show White and the Huntsman , a possible trilogy that brought the cast together for a panel at Comic-Con this weekend. Snow White and the Huntsman Comic-Con Panel How would the actress describe her version of this well-known character? “She’s got this amazing ability to channel fear, things that people are typically very afraid of, into this really focused, really charged, driving energy,” Stewart said. “She’s also like the people’s leader and… truly doesn’t let her heart cloud her mind. [She] doesn’t let her mind get in the way of doing things she feels strongly about. Also, I get to have a sword and stuff.” Charlize Theron meanwhile, plays the Evil Queen and made us laugh with her description: “She’s dark. She’s a serial killer. I’m pretty much preparing to play a serial killer. I’m trying to ground it and make it something real. Watch out, Kristen.” Show White and the Huntsman comes out on June 1, 2012.

‘If I lose to any of those wackass videos, I’m gonna be mad because they all suck — except for Adele’s,’ Tyler tells MTV News. By Rob Markman Tyler The Creator Photo: MTV News Tyler, the Creator bites his tongue for no one. Some call him evil, others, unbelievable. So when asked about his feelings on his 2011 MTV VMA Video of the Year nomination, Tyler simply spoke his mind. “I’m really excited, shout out to Ron Artest. If I lose to any of those wackass videos, I’m gonna be mad because they all suck — except for Adele ‘s,” he told MTV News. The Odd Future standout’s self-directed “Yonkers” video is up against Adele’s “Rolling in the Deep,” Beastie Boys’ “Make Some Noise,” Bruno Mars’ “Grenade” and Katy Perry ‘s “Firework.” The “Yonkers” clip, which was uploaded to the Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All’s YouTube page back in February, has since racked up 15 million views. Most noted for the scene in which the rapper hangs himself in the end, the “Yonkers” video has become one of the most talked about and debated works of the year. It earned Tyler a Best New Artist nom as well. While the Cali rapper/producer/director is more respectful of his fellow Best New Artist nominees, he still wants to win that one too. Up against indie poppers Foster the People (“Pumped Up Kicks”), Big Sean (“My Last”), Kreayshawn (“Gucci Gucci”) and Wiz Khalifa (“Black and Yellow”), Tyler will let his guard down just a bit in this category. “The Best New Artist thing, that’s cool. Wiz is a really good dude and I’ve been a fan of his music, so if he wins I’ll be pretty excited. I wanna win that for sure, but Wiz is awesome, I’ve been listening to him since ’08,” he said. “Even Kreayshawn, she’s cool. So if she wins that too, I’ll be pretty stoked. But you know, I wanna win, I’m just gonna keep it 100.” Snagging a VMA has been a goal of the “Sandwitches” MC for months. He has been tweeting feverishly about it, but even he was surprised when he actually heard the nominations announcement. After the group manager called the entire OFWGKTA to a meeting, Tyler grew weary. “We were like, ‘What the f— does he have us here for?’ We were ready to leave. Then the VMA nomination thing came on and I was on my phone and I was like, ‘Oh crap I want to see what wack videos they have this time,’ ” Tyler recalled of his skepticism before being hit with the news. “Then they said my name and was talkin’ about it and I was like ‘What the hell?’ I kinda stopped breathing, I was just sitting there. I was kinda shaking. I don’t know, it was surreal.” The 28th annual MTV Video Music Awards will air live on Sunday, August 28, from the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles at 9 p.m. ET/PT. The nominations for the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards are in! Kanye West, Adele and Katy Perry lead the pack with a total of 23 nominations between them. Two of Katy’s nominations include Video Of The Year for “Fireworks” and Best Pop Video for “Last Friday Night.” She and Kanye share the grab for Best Special Effects for “ET.” Beyonce, Nicki Minaj, Bruno Mars and Eminem scored three nominations a piece. Lil Wayne and Chris Brown have two. However, Rihanna only received nominations for her guest appearances on choruses. Are we the only ones who feel she was snubbed? Before the haters go NUTS, you don’t have to be a fan of her music to recognize that she wasn’t nominated for a single piece of her solo work this year. Not one. And this was her year – 5 back-to-back singles and 5 back-to-back videos (three of which went all the way to #1!) C’mon! Jared Leto tells MTV News the band will fly overnight from Ireland just to make it to the big show. By James Montgomery At last year’s Video Music Awards , 30 Seconds to Mars wreaked havoc on the white carpet , very nearly blinded drummer Shannon Leto with a “glitter bomb” and took home the award for Best Rock Video — all within the span of roughly three hours. Needless to say, it was a night they’ll remember for a long time. Now that their epic, ultra-NSFW “Hurricane” video has been nominated for a trio of awards — Best Cinematography, Best Direction and Best Editing — at the 2011 VMAs, how do they plan to top last year’s madness? Well, for starters, they’re going to show up. “I’m not sure if the technical awards are even on the show, but we definitely plan on being there. We’re in Ireland the night before, so it will be a last-minute sort of thing,” frontman Jared Leto told MTV News. “I’m not sure what’ll happen after that. But there’s no way we’d miss the show. It’s incredibly humbling and exciting to be acknowledged, especially for a very controversial clip like ‘Hurricane,’ that was banned from a lot of networks to start with. It’s great to have it come full-circle and be recognized in this way.” And that controversy — the “Hurricane” clip had to be drastically cleaned up to even be considered at most networks — is just part of the video’s mystique. Because more than any of the projects Leto pours his heart into, this one was a true labor of love. “It was a very DIY project. It wasn’t like, ‘OK, here’s your two days to shoot, you got your crew and everything’s professional.’ It was very much a guerrilla-style effort, very much a sculpture of sight and sound that we built, and it was great to go through that process that way,” Leto explained. “We shot three days in New York, and then I kept shooting and shooting and shooting. I shot many cities around the states and outside the states. We were editing on the bus. I had a great team of people that helped me on this and many other things. [Videos are] as important to us as the songs themselves. I spend as much time on these little mini-movies as I do on the songs themselves. “I wish there was an award for doing the most with the least. We would’ve won that one, for sure,” he laughed. “We ended up with almost a 14-minute piece, and then another seven to 10 other clips that explored other characters and themes in addition to the video itself.” So, yes, 30 Seconds to Mars will be there on August 28, when the VMAs air live from the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles. And while they might not bring any glitter this time around, they’ll definitely be hoping to repeat the other part of last year’s show: winning. “Being nominated is great, winning is even better, but at the end of the day, it’s the work that’s really the most important, and the people who are enjoying it,” Leto said. “The acknowledgement of the project is really great.” The 28th annual MTV Video Music Awards will air live on Sunday, August 28, from the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles at 9 p.m. ET/PT. California Gurl Perry leads all nominees with nine nods for the August 28 show. By Gil Kaufman Katy Perry in her “Firework” video Photo: Capitol It’s fitting that the leading nominee for the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards is Katy Perry , since the California Gurl has had a massive year. Perry nabbed nine nominations for the August 28 awards show, including bids for Best Pop Video, Best Collaboration, Best Direction, Best Special Effects and the biggie, Video of the Year, for her smash ” Firework ” clip. Close on her heels is another diva who’s had a breakout year: British songbird Adele, who rolled up seven nominations for her hit ” Rolling in the Deep ” from 21, the best-selling album so far of 2011. Among her nominations are Video of the Year, Best Female Video and Best Pop Video. It wasn’t just about the ladies, though, as Kanye West earned seven nods for his high-concept clips “All of the Lights” and “Power,” including Best Hip-Hop Video, Best Male Video and two shots at Best Collaboration for his Rihanna and Kid Cudi hook-up for “Lights” and his cameo in Perry’s ” E.T. ” There was also plenty of love to go around for singer/songwriter Bruno Mars, whose four noms include Video of the Year, Best Pop Video and Best Male Video for ” Grenade. ” A trio of divas — Beyonc
