David Cassidy, the popular folk singer and former star of The Patridge Family, passed away today at a hospital in Florida. He was 67 years old. Said the star’s family via statement tonight: On behalf of the entire Cassidy family, it is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father, our uncle, and our dear brother, David Cassidy. David died surrounded by those he loved, with joy in his heart and free from the pain that had gripped him for so long. Thank you for the abundance and support you have shown him these many years.” The artist was rushed to said hospital late last week due to organ failure, with multiple outlets writing that he required a near-immediate kidney transplant to survive. He was initially placed in a medically-induced coma, although sources said he was later drifting in and out of consciousness before the end arrived. Cassidy was moved to the intensive care unit on Sunday as his condition worsened. Cassidy rose to fame as Keith Patridge, the son of Shirley Partridge, on the beloved 1970s sitcom The Partridge Family. The series centered on a family of musicians and propelled David to teenage superstardom. He was one of the most popular singers in the country forty-plus years ago; you could almost refer to him as the Justin Bieber of his era, considering his fame among young women at the time. Cassidy later enjoyed a career in both acting and music, only recently retiring from the entertainment field. Throughout his career, however, Cassidy struggled with alcohol abuse issues that resulted in drunk driving arrests in 2010, 2013 and 2014, along with a stint in rehab. He filed for bankruptcy in 2015. In February of this year, Cassidy also opened up about his battle with dementia. “I was in denial, but a part of me always knew this was coming,” Cassidy told People Magazine , shortly after he forgot lyrics to a few songs during a live performance in California. He told the publication that his mother also struggled with this tragic mental disorder. It was due to this diagnosis that Cassidy stopped going on tour. “I want to focus on what I am, who I am and how I’ve been without any distractions,” Cassidy said several months ago, adding; “I want to love. I want to enjoy life.” Insiders say Cassidy was surrounded by loved ones when he passed away. The late star appeared on The Partridge Family for four years alongside Danny Bonaduce, who released the following statement back when Cassidy confessed to his dementia: “David Cassidy once had a bigger fan club than Elvis & the Beatles. If you’re a fan, now is a great time to send him your love & best wishes.” The same now applies in the wake of Cassidy’s death, in regard to the singer/actor’s friends, family members and loved ones. More Alaskan Bush People is on the way! Alaskan Bush People ‘s grim hiatus exists for a very good reason, but fans of the series and of the Brown family are about to get a reprieve. But we’re not talking about Season 8 filming. Not just yet. The Browns are coming back with an Alaskan Bush People Christmas special. But … will it involve Ami? Christmas is a big deal for the Brown family. Not just because they’re Christians and not just because Christmas in both its secular and religious forms is thoroughly ubiquitous in American culture. And also not just because they’re reality stars whose producers know that a “feel good” Christmas episode is often a recipe for success. We’ve talked a bit about the Brown family’s youngest member, Rain Brown. She’s on social media now, so we get to see her selfies along with more serious posts about how she’s not sure if her mom’s going to make it . Well, Rain’s birth name isn’t “Rain” or “Rainy.” Her full name is, and we are not making this up: Merry Christmas Katherine Raindrop “Rainy” Brown. Now, she’s named that because of the time of year in which she was born — Rain’s 15th birthday is in just 10 days, folks! — but she’s not named Thanksgiving Brown or Solstice Brown or Dies Natalis Solis Invicti Brown . We told you that the Browns were called out as fake by fans over their move to Colorado. For them, the final straw was the family moving to another state altogether. And, of course, we know that the Brown family is now living large in a Beverly Hills mansion . That’s kind of the opposite of “roughing it.” (But it’s not actually surprising — Ami Brown’s chemotherapy can’t happen in the wilderness, and they’ve been making money for seven seasons of a reality series) TV Insider reports that this year’s “Bushmas” special features nearly the entire Brown family, and that is has already filmed. This is exciting news! … Mostly. (Honestly, “Bushmas” as a name is a mistake … it sounds less like a wholesome family special and more like particularly festive pubic hair) There’s been no formal announcement of a new season, and we probably won’t know about that until Ami Brown’s battle with terminal lung cancer is resolved. But the “Bushmas” special will air on December 15th. The Brown’s have done Christmas episodes before, but this will be a standalone special. It will be in Colorado. And … will it involve Ami? Like we said, the report doesn’t guarantee that every Brown will be there. And Alaskan Bush People is famous for its recycled footage, so there’s bound to be some of that. But Ami Brown was photographed in Colorado recently. Billy Brown ignited a firestorm of controversy by prominently displaying his preferred brand of cigarettes in his pocket while his wife dies of lung cancer. That sort of overshadowed questions of why Ami was there. Now it seems likely that Ami was there. We just hope that this “Bushmas” and the actual Christmas that follows won’t be her last. Charlie Sheen has issued a response to a very troubling allegation. Earlier this week, The National Enquirer spoke to Dominick Brascia, who was a close friend of Corey Haim’s before Haim passed away in 2010. And Brascia right came out and accused Sheen of raping Haim when the latter was only 13 years old. “Haim told me he had sex with Sheen when they filmed Lucas ,” Brascia told the tabloid about Haim, who died at the age of 38. Added Brascia: “He told me they smoked pot and had sex. He said they had anal sex. Haim said after it happened Sheen became very cold and rejected him. “When Corey wanted to fool around again, Charlie was not interested.” Haim and Sheen starred opposite each other in the 1986 film Lucas . According to Brascia, they had another very personal interaction years after the movie was finished: “Haim told me he had sex with Sheen again. He claimed he didn’t like it and was finally over Sheen. He said Charlie was a loser.” Now, in response to this disturbing charge, a spokesperson for Sheen has stated the following: [Sheen] absolutely denies the claim. Sheen was diagnosed with HIV in 2015 and has a well-known history of using drugs and sleeping around. This, of course, does not mean that the allegations related to Haim are automatically true or anything. This story, however, emerges four years after Corey Feldman made allegations in his 2013 memoir that he and Haim had been sexually abused by some in the entertainment industry. “There are people that did this to me and Corey that are still working, they’re still out there, and they’re some of the most rich and powerful people in this business,” Feldman said on The View while promoting the book, adding at the time: “And they do not want what I’m saying right now. They want me dead.” In this same Enquirer article, a friend of Sheen’s says the actor has admitted to sex with Haim, but told the friend that the intercourse was consensual. If such an interaction did take place, however, Haim would have been too young in 1986 to give legal consent. Meanwhile, this is what Feldman wrote in his aforementioned book about Lucas : “At some point during the filming, [Haim] explained an adult male convinced him it was perfectly normal for older men and younger boys in the business to have sexual relations, that it was ‘what all guys do.'” Feldman does not mention Sheen by name in the memoir. It’s only been three months since Jill Duggar welcomed her second child , but the woman is a Duggar, which means her uterus does more before noon than most people’s reproductive organs do all day. According to a new report, Lamar Odom did not collapse at a nightclub last week simply because he was very tired from working out. Shocking, we know. This is what a spokesperson for the former reality and NBA star actually alleged, however, after Odom fell to the floor early Sunday morning at Bootsy Bellows in Los Angeles. Due to Odom’s history of drug and alcohol abuse, it was questionable why he was even in the establishment. But Lamar’s rep downplayed the incident shortly afterward, saying Odom is doing “well” and adding by way of explanation: “He was dehydrated and had been in an intense workout earlier in the day. It was also very hot in the club.” No one really believed this at the time. Most celebrity gossip followers figured Odom had, unfortunately, fallen off the wagon once again. And now a People Magazine report appears to back up this assumption. “ Lamar is spiraling again. He’s out of control,” an insider tells this publication of Odom, adding in further disturbing detail: “He was better this spring, but things got worse over the summer and everyone is worried things are going to get even worse and they’re scared for him.” We can’t verify these claims outside of relaying them to our readers, but it wouldn’t come as a shock that this would be a challenging time for Odom. Ex-wife Khloe Kardashian is pregnant with her first child; she’s expecting a baby in early spring. Moreover, she’s expecting this baby with Tristan Thompson, who is also a professional basketball player and who also mostly plays power forward. This is the same position Odom played throughout his career. So it really is if Khloe has directly replaced her ex-husband with a new and less hurtful version. Lamar has admitted to cheating on Khloe during their marriage. He’s also confessed that he was addicted to drugs at various points in their relationship. The couple split in 2013 after a few turbulent months, although the divorce was not finalized until many years later. Then, in October of 2015, the troubled star was rushed to the hospital after being found unconscious in a Nevada brothel. He was only given a 50 percent chance of survival at the time, spending four days in a coma, with Khloe by his side nearly the entire time. Upon his recovery, Odom completed a 30-day drug rehab program. Friends and loved ones hoped it would signal a reversal of fortunes for Odom, a turning point in a life full of tragedy (see below). Yet photogs and celebs and fashion companies but up fucking pussy pics…I mean I even see low level girls putting up the pussy pics and I’ve never even posted a fucking nipple. Grandparents and grandchildren share a special bond. The Roloffs are certainly no exception. Matt Roloff took to social media to share that it’s getting harder for him to spend time away from his grandbabies, even for just a few days. And we can see why — because in the mean time, Zach Roloff took sweet baby Jackson on a surprise trip to the zoo. And these pictures are golden. This year, Matt Roloff got to welcome two grandchildren into the world. His first two. Early this summer, sweet Jackson Roloff was born . And then, only four months later, precious Ember Jean was born . As a grandparent, that’s a dream come true. (It’s also, we’re sure, exciting stuff for Zach and Tori and for Jeremy and Auj, what with becoming parents and all) Here’s the thing, though. Matt Roloff lives on Roloff Farms with most of the rest of his family, but he has a habit of heading down to Arizona. Most of us are sick to death of this warm weather and would like to squeeze in a few weeks of fall weather before winter arrives, but Matt Roloff likes to enjoy downtime and the warmer weather that Arizona has to offer. But he’s taken to social media to share how difficult that trip is becoming, for one — or two — adorable reasons. Matt Roloff shared this precious photo of his son, Zach, and his grandson, Jackson. Jackson, you can just barely tell, is still dressed like a pumpkin. What a delight. Matt’s caption for the photo, however, proved to be bittersweet: “Had to say good bye to these guys for a couple of days …” Awww, we know that it’s not easy. Especially when you can’t explain to a baby why they won’t see you for a few days. Matt continued: “Headed to Arizona in search of some warm sunny weather..” Again, we’ve absolutely had our fill of warmth and sunlight for 2017, but some people like it more than others. (And we should remember that Matt Roloff is a grandparent and some people, as they get older, become sensitive to cold, particularly in their joints) “Getting harder and harder to leave even just for a few days. Can’t stand to miss even a minute with these precious grand kids.” You know, that’s normal for grandparents who live exceptionally close to their grandchildren. Kids can change overnight. What if your grandbaby learns a new word and you’re not there? What if they learn to walk? And Zach Roloff took to Instagram to share what Jackson got up to. Zach and Tori took Jackson on an impromptu zoo trip. As Zach explains, he’s not usually a huge fan of the zoo: “Great day at the Zoo and World Forestry Discovery Center Museum. Never been too much of a fan of zoos because all the people and the small enclosures but today was class. Nobody was there and the animals were all out. Great day with the family as well.” The trick to visiting lots of places is to go there when it’s not crowded. It’s like going out to dinner on a Tuesday instead of on Friday night. Zach also hinted at a reason that he, especially, might not be comfortable in big crowds … and it’s not his height. Not directly. Zach ended his post with Samuel 16:7, a biblical passage about ignoring what a person looks like because what matters is what they look like on the inside. Interestingly, in context, the passage is referring to a super good-looking man whom the faithful are supposed to reject, but we can see how the words could be a great comfort to someone who feels judged for his appearance by total strangers. And speaking of being judged, Zach and these adorable baby photos got actual hate in the comments for going to a zoo. Zoo animals are either born in captivity or rescued, folks. Often rescued from actual horrible conditions. There are some bad zoos in the world, but most of them are essentially massive animal rescues with habitats and trained professionals. Don’t hate someone for supporting an educational facility that brings joy to children while helping countless wild and even endangered species.
