The Golden Globes Were Last Night of the Day

I am in Los Angeles, and like me, a lot of people in Los Angeles, don’t give a fuck about the Golden Globes or their bullshit parties you would think would put any other city in lock down. If anything, the rest of the world cares so fucking much about these bullshit self righteous things, you know events to celebrate people who have already won, in movies that are generally pretty devoid of any artistic merit, that the perception is that it is a bigger deal than it actually is….I blame the media and you should too. I didn’t crash any parties, I did get stuck in traffic cuz I took a wrong turn in front of the venue the event was at, accidentally, and I did watch 5 minutes of the bullshit to see that none of those white people thanked Jesus Christ their lord and saviour…. I saw the list of winners, they were all the expected choices, because I guess the Hollywood Foreign press is paid off by the same people, and really unless you were a winner last night and your career is going to turn the fuck around because of it, you have no real reason to care…. That said, the team in the stepFORUM did a round up of everything Golden Globes, so if you are into these over paid cunts in dresses thinking they are a big deal, you’ll love it. Here are some Golden Globes Cleavage Pics to Round Up the Globes of the Golden Globes and the Parties…because the speeches and winners don’t matters..but the titties do…. Sofia Vegara Vanessa Hudgens at Some Party – There’s No Way She Was At the Awards…. Taylor Swift Mila Kutcher Heidi Klum Kaley Cuoco Kate Mara Nina Dobrev Jenna Dewan-Tatum Kate Beckinsale… Kate Graham – Booty is Globes Too There are a hell of a lot more…so CLICK THIS LINK TO SEE A MEGA GOLDEN GLOBES ROUND-UP…I AM TALKING 20 PAGES OF PICS FROM EVERY PARTY, RED CARPET, ALL THINGS GOLDEN GLOBES

Phil Jackson Says He Wasn’t Feelin’ Kobe Bryant Professionally Or Personally After Denver Sex Assault Accusations In New Book!

Phil keeps it trill. Phil Jackson Said He Resented Kobe Bryant After Denver Sex Assault Accusations Via LATimes Phil Jackson’s memoir hit bookshelves Tuesday and in addition to talking life, Michael Jordan, and Zen, the 13-time NBA champion, the former Lakers coach spoke on how Kobe Bryant’s sexual assault case drastically changed the way he viewed #8. It’s coming out now, though, in Jackson’s 339-page memoir co-written with Hugh Delehanty and available Tuesday: “Eleven Rings: The Soul of Success.”… Jackson talked about how the sexual-assault charges levied against Bryant in 2003 temporarily changed his outlook on the perennial All-Star. It “cracked open an old wound” because Jackson’s daughter was the victim of an assault while on a date with an athlete in college. “Brooke expected me to get angry and make her feel protected. Instead I suppressed my rage — as I’d been conditioned to do during childhood by my parents … it left her feeling alone and unsupported. (In the end, after filing a report with the police, Brooke chose not to press charges.) “The Kobe incident triggered all my unprocessed anger and tainted my perception of him. … It distorted my view of Kobe throughout the 2003-04 season. No matter what I did to extinguish it, the anger kept smoldering in the background.” Charges were dropped against Bryant in 2004, a few months after the Lakers lost to Detroit in the NBA Finals. The coach-player relationship eventually improved to the point that Jackson defended Bryant after his infamous trade demand in 2007. Bryant was irritated after three languid seasons and wanted to continue his championship pursuits elsewhere. “No question, losing Kobe would be a blow to the organization and to me personally,” Jackson wrote of that summer. Can’t say we blame Phil, Kobe been an “ain’t isht” n***a for a long time now. Continue reading

Race Matters: Jay-Z Speaks At The University Of Arizona And Says “There Is No Such Thing As Black Or White Music”

Is he right?? Jay-Z: “There Is No Such Thing As Black Or White Music” Following a concert at the University of Arizona, Jay-Z had some issues to get off his mind in regards to the perception of music and race. Via Rap Radar reports: Last night I performed at the University of Arizona, I had a ball!! Through all the excitement and joking around (as well as the technical difficulties) I missed out on the opportunity to say something important.. On the show as well were Third Eye Blind and Kelly Clarkson.. I thought that to be the oddest pairing EVER but, soon realized, it’s what I’ve always professed..There is NO such thing as BLACK music or WHITE music only GOOD or BAD music..It’s stupid cool to like things that are not like you, and that goes for outside of music.. If you’re an African American you can have a jewish friend. Wait, does Lyor having some Israeli mixed with his jewish count? (Sure they are paranoid but, so are black people after they’ve smoked weed, haaaaa, and plus the JEW fro and the BLUEprint fro are the SAME thing.) I think concerts like this should happen more often. ( Outside of the one or 2 festivals a year or “Zootopia”) I’m putting that into the universe..next up Taylor Swift and Uncle Murda!! Sorry I don’t “Tweet” (do I?) so this will have to do.. Love. Is Camel right?? Discuss…

Quote Of The Day: Breezy Calls Love An Obstacle He “Hasn’t Yet Mastered”

That’s an understatement. Chris Brown gets up close and reeeeeeeeeallly personal in a new magazine feature. In an interview with XXL Magazine Chris Brown addresses his critics and admits he still has some things to learn: “In the beginning, I used to be hot. I’m normal. I’m human, so if anybody says something that’s a lie, I’m numb to it. I’ve smartened up.” Clearly this interview was done before the whole deleting Twitter incident went down… On Beef With Drizzy And Meek : “A lot of people wanna know about the whole situation with me, Drake and Meek Mill. At the end of the day, I’m me, they’re them. They rap, I sing. Totally different caliber. I rap, I play around on mixtapes. But our words don’t collide as much as you’d think.” Forget about words. We’re talking about bottles. On Twitter : “I haven’t been as mature and thought out in the past, so, me growing now, it’s showing my progression. I used to use my Twitter account to vent, but now I mostly use it for marketing and promotions. Even if the media asks me something, if it’s cool then it’s, ‘What’s up?’ But if it’s anything that’s too negative, I don’t care to respond.” Again, this had to be a pre-Jenny Johnson answer. On Love : “One thing people often want me to talk about is my public love life. When it comes to my love life, the perception seems as though I am a player. But that’s not true. Love is something I am still learning. It’s just an obstacle that I haven’t yet mastered. I think that’s my biggest hurdle in life.” We can’t say for sure if it’s his biggest hurdle, but clearly Breezy has some work to do in the love department. Right now we’d say keeping Rihanna happy is probably his biggest hurdle in life.

Cynthia Nixon Bares Tit for Wit [PIC]

Like it has for so many things, South Park has changed our perception of Broadway forever. Now, whenever someone mentions The Great White Way, all we can think about is getting a blowjob . Of course, we think about that about fifteen times a day anyway… Regardless, the hummer hopefuls who shelled out to see Cynthia Nixon in the revival of Wit on Broadway had their pumps thoroughly primed when their leading lady went full frontal . Of course, she’s bald, and her character has just died of cancer, so it’s not the sexiest circumstance in the world, but hey- live celebrity nudity! You usually have to wait until their Broadway days are far, far behind them for that. Cynthia Nixon ‘s full-frontal run in Wit may be over, but a generous audience member went to the trouble of recording her live nude scene on their smartphone- check out the clip over at Fleshbot now!

Smokey and the Bandit at 35: A Case for the Genius of Hal Needham

As part of their 100th anniversary, Universal Studios has just released a commemorative Blu-Ray edition of Smokey and the Bandit . Today, the 35-year old Burt Reynolds vehicle is mostly remembered for Reynolds’ good ol’ boy schtick, Jackie Gleason’s mugging and first-time director Hal Needham’s stuntwork. Unfortunately, while Needham’s contributions to Smokey are probably the most essential, he remains the least renowned of that bunch. But thanks to the behind the scenes featurette included on Universal’s new release, laypeople and stuntwork junkies alike can get a good idea of why Smokey and the Bandit belongs to Hal Needham. Apart from co-writing the film’s screenplay, Needham, the best paid American stuntman to date, also played a big part in casting Smokey and the Bandit (Reynolds, in archival interview footage, compares the film to “Chinese food” and “sex”). After working with Reynolds on Gator , Needham showed the leading man the script for Smokey . Reynolds, who put Needham up in his house for twelve years after Needham divorced his first wife, immediately scoffed at the crude screenplay but quickly succumbed to Needham’s charms. The same was true of an initially skeptical Gleason. According to Needham, the cocky pitch that he won Gleason over with went something like this: “‘I’m going to direct it, I love your work, and I think it’s a funny, funny part for you.’ He says, ‘I’ll do it.’ That’s all there was to it.” Needham’s utterly charming take-no-prisoners attitude also won over co-star and singer Jerry Reed. Reed apparently banged out East Bound and Down , the film’s iconic theme song, overnight. When he played it for Needham, he nervously offered to change it if it wasn’t satisfactory. “‘You change one word, one note and I’ll choke ya,'” Needham recalls jocularly threatening. Still, the car chases and crashes that Needham choreographed are undoubtedly the best reason why the man was and remains such a memorable presence. “By the time we got to the last shot, we barely had a car runnin’,” Needham recalls. He specifically remembers that the Trans-Am used during the film’s iconic bridge jump scene was a wreck after it landed on the other side of the bridge. But that devil-may-care attitude is why everyone wanted to work with Needham, a man that broke his back twice and is still walking. In the featurette, Needham describes a stunt where a cop car vaults onto the back of a flat-bed truck. For the first take, the car overshot the truck but that didn’t phase the stunt driver. “He just stuck it back in gear,” Needham said, “went back to his start position and said, ‘Ok, Hal, ready for take two.’ So we did take two and we got it.” Simon Abrams is a NY-based freelance film critic whose work has been featured in outlets like The Village Voice , Time Out New York , Vulture and Esquire . Additionally, some people like his writing, which he collects at Extended Cut .
