Multiple sources confirm that the 29-year old reality star has purchased the singer’s Calabasas mansion, where Bieber has notoriously hosed a great many parties and in whose neighborhood he likes to drive very fast. Justin bought the house in 2012, but recently put it on the market because pretty much everyone in the gated community now hates him. “The fact that a talented international musician like Mr. Bieber chooses to live in Calabasas is certainly a feather in our cap and a tribute to our safe and beautiful community,” the city’s mayor, Fred Gaines, told The Los Angeles Times in January. ” [But] the peace and privacy of our residents is the city’s top priority. We have unfortunately had a number of breaches of the peace related to Mr. Bieber and his residence, and the sheriff has acted appropriately in addressing those incidents.” Khloe reportedly bought the property for $7.2 million, meaning Justin made over $1 million on it in under two years. Katy Perry and John Mayer recently split for good, despite almost universal belief in celebrity gossip circles that a proposal was a matter of when, not if. The reason has been a mystery, until this theory posited by one tabloid: Allegedly, Katy Perry was the one to say enough is enough after she found out about his relationship with 24-year-old SoulCycle instructor, Lauren McHale. Apparently, the pair met at a bar in Los Angeles in May, then went back to her house for a little after-party after having a few drinks together. “They kissed,” an insider revealed of Mayer and McHale. “It was all very innocent. They didn’t sleep together.” Not innocent enough for the “Dark Horse” singer. It’s not clear why this connection reared its ugly head now and led to the Katy Perry-John Mayer breakup , but that’s allegedly what pushed her over the edge. Not that Mayer is too broken up over the couple’s separation. In a new report, Star claims that Katy Perry kicked the ”Who You Love” crooner to the curb — possibly because she learned about Lauren McHale, a 24-year-old SoulCycle instructor who had become involved with Mayer. A source told the magazine that Mayer and McHale met at a bar in L.A. in mid-May and quickly hit it off. After chatting over drinks, they went back to McHale’s house for a party with a few of her friends. “They kissed,” divulged a source. “It was very innocent. According to Deadline: Tyler Perry‘s longtime and lucrative first-look deal with Lionsgate is not being renewed, though there are still several projects in the pipeline at the studio beyond his upcoming release “Single Mom’s Club,” which is due out March 14. That means the impact of this split won’t be felt for some time. We’re even hearing there could be more Madea films for Lionsgate –his last Lionsgate pic was Tyler Perry’s A Madea Christmas, which grossed $52.5M when it came out in December. The decision was mutual between the studio and Perry’s 34th Street Production, a source close to the situation says, based on a variety of matters such as international distribution and marketing. We’re sure Tyler will bounce back.

Video captured Katy Perry lip-syncing not once but twice at the NRJ Music Awards in France, as it became obvious she was not lined up with the track. What happened was Katy was performing “Roar” and very obviously lip-syncing. That’s not what makes this noteworthy, as it happens to a lot of stars. But what happened here is that, incredibly, the host of the show walked in, stopped the whole performance, and made her start over from the beginning! Using her real voice. It was just really awkward … Katy Perry Lip-Sync Fail Needless to say, Katy Perry looked embarrassed, and didn’t sing that well, but after being humiliated in front of thousands like that, and being sick? Katy Perry broke into the music stratosphere with “I Kissed a Girl” in 2007, but for years before that, she toiled and struggled to find fame in Hollywood. Now 29, the recalls doing backing vocals for some major stars, including Mick Jagger, with whom she had a very interesting encounter a decade ago. In a recent interview with Australian DJs Ash, Kip & Luttsy, on Nova FM, Perry claimed that Jagger came on to her when she was just 18 years old. Perry worked with the Rolling Stones rocker on his hit “Old Habits Die Hard,” and she said she even went out to dinner with the now 70-year-old icon. “I actually went to dinner with [Mick] one time, and he hit on me when I was 18!” she said. “That was a long time ago,” Perry was quick to note, “and he’s been very kind.” Indeed, the unlikely paid has gone on to collaborate on more music since then. Asked how she turned down the rock god’s advances , Perry revealed a tactic: “You bring a friend and then they do them!” she said. “You sacrifice your friend.” She’s kidding … hopefully. Jagger’s rep, meanwhile, denies the incident. “Mick Jagger categorically denies that he has ever made a pass at Katy Perry… Perhaps she is confusing him with someone else,” the rep said Thursday.
