Which All-Star NBA Baller Has This Massive And Misspelled Tattoo On His Back???

Hooked On Phonics didn’t work for him… These days most athletes have AT LEAST ONE tattoo. This superstar hooper has several, none of which are bigger or more impressive than the one he just had finished on his back. We would congratulate this young man on getting a nice looking Bible verse tattoo that doesn’t look like he got it while serving a 3-5 year bid for home invasion . Only problem is, the tattoo artist misspelled a relatively easy word at the end of the scripture! The verse from James 1:2-4 reads as follows: Consider it a sheer gift, friends, when tests and challenges come at you from all sides. You know that under pressure, your faith-life is forced into the open and shows its true colors. So don’t try to get out of anything prematurely. Let it do its work so you become mature and well-developed, not deficient in any way. If you look closely to the last sentence you’ll see the word “mature” has been misspelled “mautre”. We get that tattoo artists sometimes spend long hours in the shop, often well into the early morning, but when you are putting a PERMANENT marking on someone it might be a good idea to make sure that all the words are spelled correctly. SMH Hit the flip to find out which unfortunate baller has to live with this grammatical error on his person for life. Images via Instagram

Elsewhere In The World: Drunken And “Wife Beating” Briton Accused Of Slitting His Young Children’s Throats In France

Briton Accused Of Slitting His Children’s Throats In France What kind of monster slits the throats of his own children??? According to Raw Story: French police were on Sunday questioning a 48-year-old divorced Briton arrested on suspicion of slitting the throats of his two young children, judicial officials said. The bodies of the two children aged five and 10 were discovered on Saturday afternoon in his apartment in Saint-Priest, a southeastern suburb of the central city of Lyon. He was arrested and placed in custody in the evening. A judicial source said a knife which is thought to have been the murder weapon had been found. The source said the man had visitation rights but only in the presence of another person, adding that this was the first time he brought the children home to his apartment. Several witnesses said the man fled on roller skates after his former wife encountered him on the stairwell of the building and saw him with bloodstained clothes. She immediately alerted the police. Ahmed Benguedda, a former neighbour of the couple, told AFP the couple had divorced “two or three years ago” and that the man had drinking problems and was a wife beater. The wife moved out of the apartment after the divorce and was living in the Isere region of eastern France. But the children were “well-balanced”, said Benguedda, whose seven-year-old daughter often played with them. SMH. R.I.P. to those chuldren and we hope this fawk rots in prison.

Jesus Take The Wheel: 16 Black Ohio Families Find Bibles With N-Word Written On Them In Front Of Their Homes!

Only a ignorant a$$hole thinks the Bible and racism go together… 16 Black Families In Ohio Find Bibles With Racist Langauge At Their Homes Via ZanesvilleTimesRecorder David Jones Jr. said he was excited to see a new Bible sitting on his front porch Monday morning. Then he looked inside and found what he describes as a “racial slur toward blacks,” written on the inside cover. A total of 16 black residents along North Mulberry and Springmill Streets and Vale Avenue received the marred Bibles on Sunday, according to the Mansfield Police Department. “At first I said good, because I can use another Bible, but when I opened it to see who it came from it just had a nasty statement in there,” Jones said. “I thought someone was saying it to me, but then I saw it on other porches, so I called police.” A few doors down, Lillian Webb had the same initial reaction. “I thought someone was trying to be funny, saying I need to read the Bible,” Webb said. “After I read (the slur), I thought, who would write that in a Bible?” Across the street, the Friendly House received three Bibles, director Terry Conard said. Bibles also showed up at two vacant houses on either side of Webb. Nine of the King James Holy Bibles were recovered Monday morning after Jones called in the complaint. Six more were found by police canvassing the area Wednesday. The same slur was “neatly” written in neon colors, according to victims. SMMFH @ “neatly” Police are classifying the act as ethnic intimidation, meaning the racial slur was meant to threaten and intimidate residents, Capt. Ken Coontz said. Those responsible could face menacing charges, a fourth-degree misdemeanor. If tied to ethnic motivations, the charge could increase the offense to a third-degree misdemeanor, or up to 60 days in jail, he said. The police are still searching for any clues that might help them find the person(s) responsible. We suppose this is better than a burning cross on your lawn, but it still has to be a little unsettling that this type of racism is still alive and kickin’ in 2013. A “Lil Positivity”: Woman Rescued From Collapsed Bangladesh Factory After Surviving 17 Days Under Rubble!

This is truly a blessing. A woman survived 17 days under the rubble of a Bangladesh factory building where over 1,000 people were killed . Via NY Daily News reports : A seamstress buried in the wreckage of a collapsed garment factory building for 17 days was rescued Friday, a miraculous moment set against a scene of unimaginable horror, where the death toll shot past 1,000. Reshma survived, in remarkably good shape, by eating dried food that was in her area and drinking spare amounts of water with her. She was discovered on the second floor of the eight-story Rana Plaza building, where crews have been focused on recovering bodies, not rescuing survivors, for much of the past two weeks. “I heard voices of the rescue workers for the past several days. I kept hitting the wreckage with sticks and rods just to attract their attention,” she told the private Somoy TV from her hospital bed as doctors and nurses milled about, giving her saline and checking her condition. “No one heard me. It was so bad for me. I never dreamed I’d see the daylight again,” she said. “There was some dried food around me. I ate the dried food for 15 days. The last two days I had nothing but water. I used to drink only a limited quantity of water to save it. I had some bottles of water around me,” she said. Once Reshma finally got their attention, the crews ordered the cranes and bulldozers to immediately stop work and used handsaws and welding and drilling equipment to cut through the iron rod and debris still trapping her. They gave her water, oxygen and saline as they worked to free her. When Reshma was freed after 40 minutes, the crowd erupted in wild cheers. She was rushed to a military hospital in an ambulance, but her rescuers said she was in shockingly good condition, despite her ordeal. Abdur Razzak, a warrant officer with the military’s engineering department who first spotted her in the wreckage, said she could even walk. “She was fine, no injuries. She was just trapped. The space was wide,” said Lt. Col. Moyeen, an army official at the scene. Reshma told her rescuers there were no more survivors in her area. Workers began tearing through the nearby rubble anyway, hoping to find another person alive. “Reshma told me there were three others with her. They died. She did not see anybody else alive there,” said Maj. Gen. Chowdhury Hasan Suhrawardy, the head of the local military units. “We will continue our search until a survivor or a dead body is there.” The woman survived for more than two weeks in temperatures that touched the mid 90s (mid 30s Celsius). She scrounged for whatever food she could find, Suhrawardy said. Then, when the workers with bulldozers and cranes got close to the area where she was trapped, she took a still pipe and began banging it to attract attention, Razzak said. The workers ran into the dark rubble, eventually getting flashlights, to free her, he said. Reshma’s mother and her sister, Asma, rushed to the hospital to meet her. Hundreds of people who had been engaged in the grim job of removing decomposing bodies from the site raised their hands together in prayer for her survival. “Allah, you are the greatest, you can do anything. Please allow us all to rescue the survivor just found,” said a man on a loudspeaker leading the supplicants. “We seek apology for our sins. Please pardon us, pardon the person found alive.” Workers at the site had been clearing the rubble since the collapse April 24. More than 2,500 people were rescued in the immediate aftermath of the disaster. However, no survivors had been found in the wreckage since April 28, when Shahin Akter was found amid the wreckage. As workers tried to free her, a fire broke out and she died of smoke inhalation. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, called Reshma in the hospital, and the rescued woman began crying on the phone, Suhrawardy said. She told Hasina: “I am fine, please pray for me,” he said. It’s truly a miracle Reshma survived, we pray that she is able to overcome the trauma from her experience. The government has been under extreme criticism over the conditions of their garment industry. With two major disasters striking this month, clearly some changes need to be made. Our prayers are with those affected by this terrible disaster. Hit the flip for a pretty disturbing image from the collapse. SkyNews

The Voice Results: Who Made the Final 12?

The Top 12 finalists have been announced on The Voice. Monday, Team Usher and Team Adam squared off. Tuesday, it was Team Blake and Team Shakira. Four members per team, vying for three spots. Who earned them after America selected two from each squad, and the coaches each selected one more to advance to the Top 12 show next Monday? Let’s find out! Right off the bat, Carson Daly announced there were inconsistencies in the voting, and that votes via text and online were not included in the voting results. However, “removing votes did not affect the outcome.” Mmmkay. The Voice results for the Top 16 performers were as follows: Team Blake : Holly Tucker and Danielle Bradbery were the top two vote-getters. And for the sake of switching things up, Blake saved the Swon Brothers. Team Shakira : Sasha Allen and Kris Thomas advanced, and “based on what I can contribute to this person,” Shakira chose to save Garrett Gardner. Team Usher : Michelle Chamuel and Vedo, were voted through by America. The coach then took Josiah Hawley along with him to the next round. Team Adam : Judith Hill and Amber Carrington got the most votes. Sarah Simmons got the nod in what was clearly a very tough call for her coach. Blake’s Justin Rivers, Shakira’s Karina Iglesias, Usher’s Cathia and Adam’s Caroline Glaser are headed home. Do you agree with The Voice outcome? Sound off in the comments!

Tyler the Creator Mountain Dew Ad Pulled: Is It Racist?

A goat. African-American suspects. And a beaten white woman. We wonder why the following ad did not sit well with many consumers. In the wake of controversy over the latest Tyler the Creator-produced commercial for Mountain Dew, a rep for PepsiCo says his company has pulled the spot, saying in a statement: “We apologize for this video and take full responsibility. We have removed it from all Mountain Dew channels and Tyler is removing it from his channels as well.” Mountain Dew Ad: Racist? The ad features a victim of abuse attempting to pick out the person who assaulted her from a police line-up, one comprised of only black males and a goat. After taking some verbal abuse from the animal, the lady flees and the officer takes a sip of his Mountain Dew. Watch above and decide: Is this racist? Or just stupid? NOTE: A few days ago, Hyundai also pulled an ad because it depicted a man trying to kill himself .

Race Matters: Asian Fraternity Member Makes Video In Blackface Trying To Be Jay-Z, University Calls Video A “Teaching Moment”

Really? In 2013 people still do blackface ? Asian Fraternity Makes Video In Blackface According to News One You’d think that folks would know by now that donning Blackface in YouTube videos will not go down well, but one fraternity in California clearly didn’t get the memo. NBC 4 Los Angeles reports that several members from Lambda Theta Delta, an Asian-American fraternity at University of California, Irvine, made a video in which they danced and lip sync to Justin Timberlake’s “Suit and Tie.” Fifty-five seconds into the two-minute video, a man donning Blackface appeared, supposedly portraying hip hop star Jay-Z. The fraternity’s president, Darius Obana, says that his chapter has been accused of racism. An accusation he firmly denies. He says the person wearing Blackface in the video is a UC Irvine junior who was “just trying to be Jay-Z.” Students interviewed over the incident did not agree. The university’s vice chancellor told NBC 4 that his office has fielded complaints from the Black Student Union and has launched an investigation into the incident. Though the office is treating it as a “teaching moment.” Obana said the fraternity apologized for the video on its website and has reached out to the Black Student Union. One of the latest incidents of someone wearing Blackface came out of New York City, when state Assemblyman Dov Hikind donned it during a Jewish celebration at his home in February. After a few days of denying he had done anything wrong, Hikind was forced to apologize So this is a “teaching moment” for the Asian fraternity. We wonder if this had been a black fraternity doing something equally racist, would they still call it that? Youtube
