P olitical enemies of Minnesota’s Democratic Rep. Keith Ellison are using every trick to turn what should have been a relatively easy campaign for state attorney general into a nightmare. SEE ALSO: Domestic Abuse Allegation Won’t Go Away As Keith Ellison’s Campaign Heads To Finish Line A court unsealed the congressman’s divorce records on Wednesday under a petition to make them public, MPR News reported. The petitioners wanted to see if there was documentation that Ellison physically abused his ex-wife, in the hope of substantiating the recent domestic abuse allegations by his ex-girlfriend. Karen Monahan , the congressman’s ex-girlfriend, made the claims in August — just days before Minnesota’s primary election. Ellison immediately denied the charge. Monahan claimed to have video evidence that shows Ellison attacking her, but she has declined to release any footage, raising serious doubts about its existence. Conservative news site Alpha News was one of the petitioners that spearheaded the effort to unseal the divorce records. However, there was no evidence in the documents that Ellison was abusive toward his ex-wife, Kim Ellison . Surprisingly, the congressman described instances of Kim Ellison physically abusing him. “I understand perhaps better than most that as a public official, my personal life falls under higher scrutiny than others. But to pry into the details of a sealed divorce file that the Court previously ordered closed, on the eve of an election, is shameful and outrageous,” Ellison said, calling Alpha News “a far-right propaganda outlet with a history of racism and religious bigotry.” The records involve Ellison's 2012 divorce from ex-wife Kim Ellison. They lack any allegation that the Democratic AG candidate was abusive toward his then-wife. But in one filing, Rep. Sometimes life doesn’t work out quite like you’d always imagined. Plans change, things happen, and suddenly you’re in a difficult situation you’d never prepared for. Like, OK, say you’re a teenage girl, right? You have a very difficult home life but a pretty cool boyfriend, and you wind up pregnant. You have the baby, break up with the boyfriend, and spend the next few years getting settled into being an adult and raising your kid. But then you meet another guy, and you marry him, then you have a child together. Sounds pretty cool so far, but after some years go by, the marriage ends up falling apart , and you get a divorce. After that, you start hooking up with an old friend, but guess what — you’re pretty fertile, it seems, and so you get pregnant again. And just like that, you have three kids with three different men, and luckily they all want to be involved in their children’s lives, but that does make things pretty darn complicated . Surprise, you’re Kailyn Lowry! Kailyn is originally from Pennsylvania, and that’s where she met Jo Rivera, the father of her first child, Isaac. They broke up and eventually she met Javi Marroquin — they moved to Delaware when the Air Force stationed him in Dover, then got married and had little Lincoln. Jo and his girlfriend, Vee, moved to Dover as well so they could be closer to Isaac. After Kailyn and Javi split, she started hooking up with Chris Lopez, a friend of hers from college — they both attended Delaware State University, which is located in Dover. She got pregnant, and she claims the pregnancy was planned , and that’s when baby Lux came into the picture. So after a series of choices made over several years, she has found herself with three children who have three different fathers, and every single person involved lives in Dover. And she’s just not down with that. “I wanna move outta Dover,” she complained on Twitter over the weekend. “Middletown or Newark. There’s nothingggggg in Dover for me.” She added three crying emojis, so you know she’s really distressed about the situation. On one hand, it’s not like she’s talking about moving across the country or anything. Middletown and Newark are both in Delaware, and neither is more than an hour away from where she lives now. But on the other hand, saying there’s nothing in Dover for her is really not the truth. Don’t worry though, Twitter was very quick to call her out on everything. “Your location is not about you at this stage,” one person told her. “Thought you were more grown than this and would’ve known that.” “Wait until your kids are older,” another advised. “It’s not just about you.” One of her followers said “Your kids have their dads in Dover and they are what matters,” and someone else told her not to be “selfish.” Other people left comments like “Cuz you’ve literally ‘done’ everything and everyone.” “What’s wrong?” another super classy reply read. “No men left in Dover you haven’t screwed?” Look, there are tons of reasons why Kailyn might want to leave the city she’s currently in, and if she’s just thinking about moving to another city in that tiny, tiny little state, then it’s really not a huge deal. Thomas Ravenel Basically Accuses Ashley Jacobs of Cheating

Thomas Ravenel does not want your pity. But, if you’re a woman, he very much does want you to give him a call. The veteran Southern Charm star took to Twitter over the weekend in order to make one accusation and one offer. First, the accusation: Ravenel – who quit the aforementioned Bravo series this month amidst allegations of rape by two women – wrote on his personal account that he’s totally fine with Ashley Jacobs ending their relationship a couple weeks ago. For what reason? Because Ravenel hints strongly that Jacobs cheated on him. Today, my personal life just took a huge upward turn,” Thomas Tweeted on Saturday, explaining why as follows: “I finally have more than enough information to move forward without any doubt or hesitation and I’ll never look back.” How ominous sounding, right? The assumption around the Internet is that Ravenel is confirming that he has gathered the necessary intel to prve that Jacobs was sleeping with other men behind his back. That’s why he can finally “move forward” confidently and that’s why he replied to a follower asking if he were single by writing: “And ready to mingle!” Ravenel also sent a second Tweet that cited the Chicago song “If She Would Have Been Faithful,” suggesting that Jacobs had been untrue, writing: “After 30 years I finally understand the lyrics from that wonderful Chicago tune: “If she would have been faithful, if she could have been true, then I would have been cheated, I would have never known real love.” Jacobs – who dated Ravenel for two years and whose feud with his two-time baby mama, Kathryn Dennis, drove much of Season 5 – broke the break-up news to her own social media followers back in mid-August. Fighting off tears in a video, Jacobs said ” I love Thomas and I’ll always love Thomas . I’ll always care about him.” That’s sweet and all, but as we noted above: RAVENEL HAS BEEN ACCUSED OF RAPE ! A former housekeeper and a woman with whom Ravenel went on a date in 2015 have both said he assaulted them sexually. This does not mean he’s guilty, we know. But it’s worth emphasizing. The very rich Charleston resident has denied these accusation, while resigning from Souther Charm and blaming his portrayal on that series for his sullied reputation. “I’m not doing the show anymore,” Ravenel said upon announcing his departure, adding: “In the contract they have the right to fictionalize your story. They took advantage of me. I decided I’ve got too much to lose and informed them I’m not coming back.” As for Jacobs? “I hope the best for her … I do feel a bit sad now,” he Tweeted over the weekend. “But now I know that just around the corner, down the street, around the block, something magical is going to happen … perhaps real love.” Perhaps. Or maybe jail time for those aforementioned rape allegations. Ravenel said he is now seeking “a woman with whom the trust, faith, respect and love is immovable,” adding that he felt he never got that from Jacobs. Will Ashley return to Southern Charm for Season 6? It remains unclear. But she attempted to make amends with Dennis via a lengthy Instagram apology last week . Might she next write one to Thomas? Kevin McHale Comes Out as Gay, Cites Ariana Grande as Inspiration

Kevin McHale has an announcement to make. And a singer to thank. The 29-year old actor, best known for having played the role of Artie Abrams throughout the duration of Glee on Fox, took to Twitter on Friday and confirmed his homosexuality. The star says he’s gay. And he’s provided an unexpected shout-out to Ariana Grande for giving him the confidence to make this declaration. “#NoTearsLeftToCry is gayer than me and I ACCEPT. Ty @ArianaGrande,” McHale Tweeted this afternoon, adding: “I’d like to request a remix with @JanetJackson. ty for ur time. @ArianaGrande.” Fans and television viewers have speculated about McHale’s personal life and sexual preference ever since he started sharing pictures of himself with someone on social media. Someone many presumed to be his boyfriend, that is. McHale did not reference this individual or this cause for speculation in his post. But he did express his affection for Grande’s new single on his Instagram Story. “There goes my life,” he captioned a screenshot of the song. “No Tears Left to Cry” is the first track released by Grande since the Manchester bombing last year. The young artist was on stage in May when an explosive was detonated near the exits of Manchester Arena in England, killing over 20 concert attendees. “Ain’t got no tears in my body/I ran out, but boy, I like it, I like it, I like it,” she sings in the single, adding in the chorus: Right now, I’m in a state of mind/I wanna be in, like, all the time.
