Brooklyn Cop Gets In Trouble Over Using “BlackLivesMatter” Hashtag A Brooklyn cop is under scrutiny with the NYPD after she replied to a department Twitter post with the hash tag “Blacklivesmatter,” according to The NY Daily News . Police officer Gwendolyn Bishop responded to a post from February 2016 about a gun arrest using her own personal Twitter account, writing, “Sad day for the 76th Pct. #Blacklivesmatter.” The reply was made under her personal twitter account, @ducklipzanddimplzz, which has been deactivated. According to her attorney, John Tynan said, her Twitter account did not identify her as a cop. Also, from Tynan, she was not in violation of department rules, since she was not using the department Twitter account but was responding through her personal account as any other person on Twitter is allowed to do. The four and a half-year veteran told her superiors that she didn’t remember replying to the post, and that she rarely uses Twitter. When pressed about the issue on Tuesday, the officer says she meant to write #BlueLivesMatter and autocorrect got the best of her. If she’s found to be guilty, she faces 30 vacation days taken away and one year probation. That’s some BS.

In terms of work ethic, not a whole lot is expected from the royal family. Sure, as symbols of their nation, its history, and its diplomatic relations with the rest of the world, they have a lot of weight on their shoulders, but if you put in as many hours as your job as they do at theirs, you’d be canned by the end of the week. The royals have never exactly been a callus-handed lot, but some believe they do less work now than they ever have before. And those critics have the numbers to prove it. Prince William and Kate Middleton have participated in far fewer royal engagements than their predecessors in recent years, and even 90-year-old Queen Elizabeth II puts in more hours than these two. The situation has led to Will and Kate being called the ” laziest royals ” in UK history. The couple has reportedly bristled against accusations that they spend the bulk of their time seated on their royal arses, and sources say they’re eager for the chance to prove that they too can work hard (by royal standards). Now, it seems the opportunity they’ve been looking for has been provided by last year’s conclusive evidence that folks in the UK are just as capable of voting against their own best interests as those of on this side of the pond. It was back in August that we first learned Lala Kent was quitting Vanderpump Rules , reportedly due to unwelcome scrutiny of her personal life. Today would have been Robert Kardashian Sr.’s 73rd birthday. An attorney best known for his friendship with O.J. Simpson and involvement with the football legend’s famous murder trial, Kardashian passed away in 2003, when his namesake son was just 16. Rob Jr. took time out today to pay tribute to his late father in a series of heartwarming Instagram posts: “Happy birthday pops,” Rob captioned the photo above. A few minutes later, he posted another throwback image of himself and his father. This time, he kept the tone light, but stated that he wished Robert Sr. had been able to meet his granddaughter Dream Kardashian. “Happy birthday dad woohoo! Rob welcomed daughter Dream back in November, and he’s frequently opened up about how becoming a father has made him miss his own dad even more.
