The basketball star/estranged husband of Monica Brown appeared on “ Sister Circle TV” Tuesday to speak on his career as a baller and his current status playing in Ice Cube’s Big3 league. He also spoke on his foundation and his Skills Summit Camp that’s based around health awareness for local kids—but things got especially interesting when host Rashan Ali mentioned that he was “going through a lot” in his personal life. According to Shannon, however, that’s simply untrue. He’s doing juuuust fine despite Monica filing for divorce in March. “I haven’t been going through a lot of nothing,” said Shannon. “A lot of people take stories they hear and they blow it up for entertainment purposes but I’ve learned how to ignore the negativity and keep pushing forward. I think a lot of people got the same idea, they see me and say, “Are you okay?!” I’m fine. What’s wrong?” Oh? Both Monica and Shannon have remained mostly quiet about what caused their split, but Monica recently said on the “RuPaul Show ” that it was NOT infidelity. “Even though I’m on reality TV, there’s certain parts and elements of it that I’ve never discussed because when you get married, it is between the two of you and whatever happens within it, it’s us and God,” said Monica to RuPaul. “No matter what happens, he will always get my absolute respect, gratitude and also my assistance in being a part of whatever his life becomes … I’ll be there to support because that’s what I vowed to do, even when the other side of it does not work.” Luckily, for us, it wasn’t another person that was the issue but in the times that I’ve experienced that, I definitely act out very harshly,” she said. “So that part of the growth has been good. The news that Jenelle Evans and David Eason had regained custody of their kids hit Teen Mom 2 fans like a crushing blow to the temple. Actually, it would be more accurate to say that Jenelle and David regained custody of most of their kids, considering her son Jace and his son Kaden will continue to reside with more stable relatives. It would also be more accurate to say that former Teen Mom 2 fans were stunned by the news, as many vowed to never again support the series that made this appalling situation possible, even though Jenelle was fired from the show several months ago. Anyway, as when Donald Trump was elected president or the New England Patriots won yet another Super Bowl, reports of the judge’s ruling left many with the feeling that the bad guys had pulled off a surprise victory. But according to one person who’s very well-acquainted with Jenelle and her parenting style, the situation played out in the best way possible, and the Eason kids are back where they belong. Heather Griffith is the sister of Jenelle’s second baby daddy, Nathan Griffith, who was as stunned as everyone else when his son Kaiser was returned to The Land by a judge who had apparently been experimenting with LSD. Heather says she only really got to know Jenelle once the kids were taken away (?!), and she claims that the mother of her nephew has been misrepresented by the media and is actually a devoted parent (?!?!?) who deserves custody of her kids. “I think a lot of things have been exaggerated and blown out of proportion. I don’t see Jenelle as an unfit parent or someone that doesn’t love her kids,” Heather tells Hollywood Life . “I watch her go through this process, and she’s tried to remain so positive but she was just so sad.” Heather goes on to say that all the coverage of Jenelle’s arrests, accusations of neglect, and frequent substance abuse episodes are nothing more than fake news: “After getting to know her over the past few months — we recently became closer when the kids were taken away — I don’t see her as this horrible, vindictive person that she’s constantly being played out to be,” Heather says, “I think she is just constantly under attack and I don’t think that she’s unfit as a parent.” Nathan, of course, strongly disagrees, and he’ll continue to fight for custody of Kaiser in hearings that are set to begin next month. “I think just with her situation I would be more fit as a parent,” Nathan told TMZ earlier this week, adding that he believed Kaiser isn’t receiving proper “love and affection.” Heather says she supports Nathan in his fight for custody, but somehow, she’s also 100 percent #TeamJenelle these days. “I have talked to her pretty much ever since the kids were taken from her,” Heather tells Hollywood Life. “We check in with each other every day to make sure things are going well throughout the whole process.” In order to appreciate how weird this situation is, we encourage you to pause for a moment and imagine becoming besties with your sibling’s violent, abusive ex-fiance — but only after that person has her kids taken away following a scathing CPS investigation. ee”We’re building a friendship now. We already reported that NeNe Leakes’ tantrums have forced some casting shakeups out of Bravo. But we can just about guarantee that she won’t like every change that producers have made. Kenya Moore is returning to The Real Housewives of Atlanta for Season 12! Kenya Moore is back! It’s a huge surprise, since we had already reported that Kenya was involved in some filming issues on set. (And by “filming issues,” we mean that NeNe was refusing to film with her , of course) But now, multiple source have confirmed to Us Weekly that Kenya is returning for Season 12. She has her peach back! “Kenya may be a friend,” the insider notes. “But,” the source reminds fans. “It always depends on how filming goes.” The insider adds that it depends upon what is caught on film “and chemistry with the cast.” Kenya spent years having enough chemistry for Full Housewife status, so we don’t imagine that it would be difficult to do again. The source predicts: “Kenya could always be upgraded to full Housewife.” Even if we hadn’t already heard reports that Kenya was filming for the show in some capacity, this wouldn’t really be much of a shocker. Remember, she only appeared in one episode of Season 11. That simple cameo was enough to cause a lasting, painful rift between NeNe Leakes and Cynthia Bailey. If Kenya can be the catalyst for that much drama in a simple guest appearance, imagine how much she could cause on a whole season. Soon, we won’t have to imagine. The whole point of following a reality star like Kenya is to capture not just the squabbles and feuds, but the big life milestones. She waited weeks before she even revealed Marc’s name. The story was that Marc didn’t like The Real Housewives of Atlanta because he believes that the show portrays black men in a negative light. To date, he has made one brief appearance. Kenya explained that she had elected to step back during Season 11. “I have decided to take this season off to focus on my high-risk pregnancy in a healthy and drama-free environment,” Kenya told Us Weekly . She continued: “I thank Bravo for this amazing platform that has allowed me to grow, flourish, and appreciate the value of what is truly important in life.” Fans are excited to see Kenya’s return. Celebrities like Khloe Kardashian have profited off their “weight-loss” journeys. In 2017, Khloe became the host of E!’s Revenge Body, where she guided the transitions of everyday people seeking a transformation. However, the decision to use Khloe as a host was met with controversy since it’s speculated she obtained her curvy shape by way of plastic surgery. their argument, it’s not about getting plastic surgery, but using your platform in a fraudulent manner that misleads your audience. Earlier this week, we reported on the sad news that Mary Duggar has passed away . The mother of Jim Bob Duggar was beloved by family and fans alike, and her death has been a devastating blow to the entirety of Duggar nation. All week, Mary’s descendants have been taking to social media to eulogize the late 78-year-old for their millions of followers. On Tuesday, Jill Duggar paid tribute to Mary in a moving blog post.
