However, Nick has grown weary of it all, leading him to kill off the legendary character who has been the basis of the millions of books he has old. When a copycat murderer begins to kill people in manners and scenes straight out of his novels, NYPD Detective Kate Beckett (Stana Katic) goes to Nick for help. But their personalities don’t mesh — Nick’s fly-by-the-seat-of-his-pants detective style greatly clashes with Beckett’s more conservative and methodical approach to the crimes, but the new life that Nick Castle has begun couldn’t have been scripted better himself. Episode Summary: When a serial killer is loose in New York Federal Agent Jordan Shaw is called in to take over Castle and Beckett’s investigation.
