Kenya Moore Says She Empathizes With Apollo Nida Kenya Moore is doing her usually schtick and calling out Phaedra Parks on her BravoTV blog. This time around however, Kenya is empathizing with Apollo who was seen having a pre-prison meltdown because he had to deal with a “stoic, cold-hearted” woman who’s allegedly cheating with a man named Chocolate. SMH… On Apollo’s breakdown: Some people love to criticize me for having an opinion about Phaedra and Apollo or anyone else on the show at this point, as if somehow it is never any of my business. Despite the fact that this is a show where we discuss our issues, thoughts, and observations of one another. We may not agree, but I am entitled to and allowed to provide my input. We may not agree, however, no one and nothing is off limits when issues are put out there for public consumption. Additionally, I’d like to point out that Phaedra and one other laughed, taunted, and tried to demean and humiliate me about Walter and my African Prince. In fact, Phaedra took pride in and reveled in the demise of my relationships, challenges having children, and my relationship with my mother. Some viewers have selective memory when it comes to my history on this show. They would like to conveniently forget when she said, “You can’t turn a whore into a housewife,” and that was PRIOR to Apollo accusing me of propositioning him. With that said, I have empathy for those children and I am a forgiving person. In this case, I’m not judging her actions. I’m stating facts, history, and sharing my thoughts. On shady Phae Phae and having empathy for Apollo: THE PHAEDRA FILES It was very uncomfortable to watch them. No one wants to witness the demise of a marriage when there are children involved. Phaedra appeared unbothered, stoic, cold-hearted, and condescending. The truth is and remains that they each have said malicious and hurtful things to me to cause public humiliation and disrepute. However, I find myself more empathetic toward Apollo, because the difference between Phaedra and Apollo is that Apollo had the decency to apologize to me for what he had done to me. He showed contrition for his smear campaign and Phaedra has not. She is seemingly proud of what she did to me and has no remorse. Therefore, when I witnessed all the accusations about him threatening to burn the house down, having punched holes in the walls (which we did not see), and her mother stating she doesn’t want to come home and find “everybody dead,” it seemed to me like another one of her smear campaigns, thereby making it easier to defend the cheating allegations coming down the pike. SMH… See what else she had to say about Phaedra and Apollo on the flip.
Apollo spent his first Christmas behind bars without his sons… Phaedra Parks Skips Christmas Prison Visit To Apollo Nida Despite reporting that she’s bent on her stance of not taking her sons to see their father , Phaedra parks opted to stay home over the Christmas holiday — resulting in the boys’ first Christmas without seeing their father. Via Radaronline : Phaedra Parks said earlier this month that she’d “love to” bring her sons Ayden, 4, and Dylan, 18 months, to visit their father Apollo Nida for Christmas at his Kentucky prison. But RadarOnline.com has learned that when the big day rolled around, the Real Housewives of Atlanta star decided to spend a quiet holiday at home in Atlanta. Nida is currently serving an eight-year prison sentence for identity theft in Lexington, Kentucky. Meanwhile, his wife and kids spent the Christmas holiday “at Phaedra’s Atlanta home,” an insider told Radar. “It was very quiet, immediate family only.” “The entire day was devoted to the boys, and they had a great time,” the insider continued. “Everything Phaedra does is for the boys, and she didn’t want any of the drama of the past year to impact their Christmas.” Visiting Nida in prison for Christmas in Kentucky, “logistically just didn’t work out,” the source explained. “But Apollo did talk to the boys on the telephone on Christmas day.” “Phaedra lets the boys talk with their father anytime and every time he calls,” Parks’ rep Steve Honig previously told Radar. “Phaedra also has the boys write him letters and draw him pictures, which she sends to him,” Honig continued. “She goes out of her way to enable the boys to communicate with their father, and anyone who says otherwise is lying.” Well at least she keeps communication open. But she’s going to have to face a holiday in the clink one of these days…
Newcover Demetria McKinney made her presence felt on The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 7 Episode 7 , but she was far from the only pot-stirrer in the ATL. An established actress and singer, the latest cast member is no stranger to Atlanta’s entertainment world and culture or to bringing drama to the screen. Never has she done it quite like this, though. When she visits Cynthia Bailey at her agency to cast a model for her music video, Demetria McKinney brings up her manager and Cynthia’s friend, Roger Bobb. Demetria and Roger are an item. On the DL. “Peter [Thomas] and I have known Roger Bobb for years, and we’ve never heard him talk about having a girlfriend,” Cynthia dished in her confessional. Demetria felt she had to keep the seven-year romance with Roger secret, but what better time than The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 7 Episode 7 to take it public? “I’m ready for people to know,” she announces, and with her music video party coming up, “He better have his ass there as my man and my manager!” Did he, though? When a photo of Kenya Moore, Cynthia, Peter and Roger made the Internet rounds, Demetria wasn’t pleased – especially given Kenya’s reputation. She may feel she’s been vindicated by recent events, but everyone else seems to think Kenya Moore is shady . How shady is she in this particular case? Well, depends on how you look at it. Cynthia tells Kenya and Claudia Jordan that while Roger Bobb is a good catch, he’s already taken by Demetria. Kenya finds that hard to believe, saying that he’s dated several of her friends. “He loves the ladies, and the ladies love him. LL Cool B,” she cracked. Moore, who knows Roger, stops by his office later and asks about it. “She’s a singer, she’s an actress. She’s also my lady,” Roger says of Demetria McKinney. Kenya pretends to be happy for him, but her intuition tells another story. We have a hunch she won’t be “Nice to Metria” for much longer this season. Meanwhile, Mama Joyce and Kandi Burruss are at odds again, and not over Todd Tucker for once. This time the topic is Joyce’s boyfriend, Benny. They have a fight over home renovation woes Benny was to blame for. Aunt Nora mediates. Joyce claims she’s been sick. They make up. Todd is skeptical. “When she do some s–t, she gets tired and has aneurysms. When she’s on everyone else’s ass, she good. She be playin’ y’all!” Todd Tucker exclaims. Speaking of people who are all over the place … “If he decides to chat, we chat. If he doesn’t, we don’t… it’s just moody,” Phaedra Parks says of Apollo Nida. Phaedra doesn’t know how to tell her little kids that Apollo is going to be locked up. She consults Kandi on the subject, but comes away just as confused. What kind of s–t hit the fan then? Apollo tells Phaedra he’s “still [her] husband … don’t forget that” and that he comes in peace. She reminds him he can talk to her at home … where he lives. Apollo embraces Phaedra, who looks very uncomfortable. Kenya cracks, “Who needs Demetria’s video when I can watch this episode of Lockdown?” Speaking of Metria, Kenya tells her, “Let me just put your mind at ease: I do not want your man. I like money, I like a successful career… your man can help me achieve that.” Crisis averted … for now. Despite Apollo Nida’s recent admission that he lied about Kenya Moore trying to get with him, his estranged wife Phaedra Parks is still not a fan of hers. In fact, she still doesn’t believe Moore, or buy Nida’s newfound retraction, which you remember if you watch The Real Housewives of Atlanta online . Watch The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 7 Episode 4 Online After NeNe Leakes cast doubt on Sunday’s episode over Apollo‘s claim that he lied about Kenya, Parks called her co-star “a very supportive friend.” NeNe mused that Apollo was “lying about lying” as a means of trying to hurt Phaedra, and that Kenya still couldn’t be trusted at all in any situation. “Things that she said … you know she’s not a truthful person!” NeNe told Kandi Burruss and Phaedra on The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 7 Episode 4 . How does Phaedra feel about Leakes weighing in bluntly on her personal drama? “All in all, I think NeNe made a fair observation,” Parks said afterward, noting Kenya’s purported “unladylike and disrespectful behavior with men.” “It was easy for her, and anyone else, to conclude that Kenya is not innocent.” The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 7 Cast Photos 1. Kenya says she’s vindicated by Apollo’s reversal. His wife isn’t so sure. Phaedra says Kenya is “twirling on an emotional roller coaster in an effort to gain sympathy” and trying to play the victim to shift the focus away from her own misdeeds. “You cannot make it so easy for people to believe salacious stories about you and then expect pity when one story may not be true,” Parks points out. “Kenya wants everyone to forget she is the person who flaunted inappropriate, flirty behavior with numerous men, and repeatedly lied about her male suitors or lack thereof.” Phaedra admitted this has taken a toll on her, and “there has been so much lying and manipulation going on … it is not a constructive use of my time to keep score.”
