By James Montgomery Pete Wentz and Travie McCoy Photo: Astrid Stawiarz/ Getty Images Travie McCoy is gearing up for his first-ever solo headlining tour, and he’s bringing an old friend along for the ride. On Monday (January 24), McCoy announced the details of his Sgt. Schlepper’s Who Needs Hearts Club Band Tour (good name, BTW), a North American jaunt that kicks off March 17 in Toronto and crisscrosses the continent before wrapping up April 3 in Seattle. Joining him on the trek will be his good pal Pete Wentz — who will be taking his new Black Cards project out on the road for their first full-scale tour — rappers Donnis and XV, and hip-hop/funk collective Bad Rabbits. An exclusive pre-sale begins Tuesday, along with special VIP packages that include a ticket, a meet-and-greet with McCoy and, according to a press release from Atlantic Records, “a Travie piggy-bank (for all the future Billionaires).” For more information about pre-sales and VIPs, head over to the tour’s ticketing site or McCoy’s website . All remaining tickets will go on sale to the general public beginning Friday. In addition to his upcoming tour, McCoy is set to enter the studio with his group Gym Class Heroes to put the finishing touches on The Papercut Chronicles II, their first album since 2008’s The Quilt. In late 2009, McCoy told MTV News that the new GCH album is shaping up to be a return to their early days (as evidenced by the title), saying, “It’s definitely going back to the essence of Gym Class Heroes, which is four dudes sitting in a room, vibing off each other and making organic, dark metal.” Dates for Travie McCoy’s Sgt. Schlepper’s Who Needs Hearts Club Band Tour:

Afrojack Talks His Part In Chris Brown’s ‘Look At Me Now’

Dutch dance producer tells MTV News how he contributed to C. Breezy’s Lil Wayne, Busta Rhymes, Diplo collabo. By Akshay Bhansali Afrojack in an MTV News Skype interview Photo: MTV News Afrojack already had reason to celebrate as he headed into the New Year. The Dutch dance-music producer’s pop-dance single “Take Over Control,” featuring singer Eva Simons, made the top 25 on Billboard ‘s Dance/Club Play Songs chart in December. And now his second U.S. release, packed with hip-hop heavy-hitters, seems primed for chart success. MTV News caught up with the EDM producer (born Nick van de Wall) for a skype chat last week, and he talked about his contribution to Chris Brown’s “Look at Me Now,” the latest offering from the singer’s upcoming F.A.M.E. album. The track is a fast-rapping flurry of awesome self-indulgence courtesy of Busta Rhymes, Lil Wayne and Chris, with an eerie downtempo beat cooked up by chefs Afrojack and Diplo. The pair of producers previously collaborated on “Pon De floor,” off Diplo’s Major Lazer full-length release, and according to Afrojack, “Look at Me Now” is the product of a beat he’d passed along to the Philadelphia beatsmith. “Yeah, Diplo called me,” Afrojack recalled. “He was like, ‘We are in the studio right now, and we are gonna do a track on the beat.’ And I was like, ‘OK, whatever. Have fun.’ ” Eventually, “Look at Me Now,” was born. While Afrojack sounded casual about the song’s evolution, he said he’s certainly pleased with the finished product. “I just love these kind of people on a track like this,” he said. “It’s like hip-hop, but really weird kind of hip-hop. “Busta’s verse on it is really sick,” he continued. “It’s like I can’t even hear what he said, but I love the part where he goes [ mimics Busta’s rapid flow ], and then pauses and goes rapping really quickly. And I don’t know how to do it, I don’t even try. But it was really, really cool.” So what’s next for Afrojack? Apart from working on a remix for Pitbull , he premiered a new single exclusively for MTV News that we will be sharing with you very soon. All you Afrojack fans stay tuned! What do you think of how Afrojack’s beat turned out on Chris’ song? Tell us in the comments! Related Artists Afrojack

Understanding The Frenzy Over Vick and White Folks’ Heightened Love of Dogs

So Tucker Carlson, Fox News commentator and professional agitator, recently ignited a small controversy over his comments that Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick should have been executed three years ago when convicted on dog-fighting and animal cruelty charges. As a Philadelphian, and needless to say Eagles fan, no one is happier than I (and the millions other Eagles fans around the country) to have a player like Vick leading the helm.  But even through his redemptive professional comeback, Vick still can’t escape the calls from animal rights activist and dog owners alike that he should have been stripped of his freedom and barred from the game forever. Tucker Carlson on Michael Vick: Execute Him!

Many football fans, including President Barack Obama, are happy about Michael Vick getting a second chance from the Philadelphia Eagles. Fox News’ Tucker Carlson is not one of those people. We know it’s a 24-hour news world, and Fox anchors are mandated to embrace the opposite view of anything Obama says, but listen to this: Tucker Carlson on Michael Vick: KILL HIM! “I’m a Christian, I’ve made mistakes myself, I believe fervently in second chances,” Carlson said. “But Michael Vick killed dogs, and he did in a cruel, heartless way. Personally, I think he should’ve been executed for that.” “He wasn’t, but the idea that the President of the United States is getting behind someone who murdered dogs? Kind of beyond the pale.” So … the Christian thing to do is execute Michael Vick? What if he can truly be rehabilitated and people can learn from his example? Michael Vick loves animals now. What more do you want? For its part, the White House reiterated that Obama condemns his crimes (running a dogfighting ring) but believes convicts should get a chance to contribute to society when they are released from prison (Vick served nearly two years). Tell us, was Michael Vick’s sentence fair?

For The Ladies: Vajayjay Sit-And-Steam Said To Be Popular In SoCal Spas

In the days of holistic healing and organic cleansing this doesn’t surprise us one bit. Vaginal steam baths, called chai-yok, are said to reduce stress, fight infections, clear hemorrhoids, regulate menstrual cycles and aid infertility, among many other health benefits. In Korea, many women steam regularly after their monthly periods. There is folk wisdom — and even some logic — to support the idea that the carefully targeted steam may provide some physiological benefits for women. But there are no studies to document its effectiveness, and few American doctors have even heard of it. “It sounds like voodoo medicine that sometimes works,” said Dr. Vicken Sahakian, medical director of Pacific Fertility Center in Los Angeles. Niki Han Schwarz believes it worked for her. After five steams, she found she had fewer body aches and more energy. She also became pregnant eight months ago at the age of 45 after attempting to conceive for three years. Han Schwarz and her husband, orthopedic surgeon Charles Schwarz, are determined to introduce vaginal steam baths to Southern California women. Their Santa Monica spa, Tikkun Holistic Spa, offers a 30-minute V-Steam treatment for $50. (The identical treatment is available for men, to steam the perineal area.) We understand how this “treatment” may work for ladies, but what the hell is it supposed to do for men?? Ah well, we’re sure the metrosexual community will be pleased. Source
