Source: Justin Sullivan / Getty Today (June 4), led by Tim Cook, Apple held their annual WWDC event, and the focus was entirely on improving the performance of their products with iOS 12, watchOS 5, macOS Mojave and Apple TV. We break down the best highlights from the highlights from the event. iOS 12 Apple’s software VP, Craig Federighi made it entirely clear to the attendees in the room that “for iOS 12, we are doubling down on performance.” Being that recent iOS updates have been very buggy lately this focus is warranted. There are definitely some new additions, changes, and improvements coming to your iPhone, IPads worth looking forward too. Screen Time Google introduced its digital well-being dashboard called Android P which wants to help users limit their phone use. Apple is aiming for the same with its new Screen Time feature which breaks down exactly how much you are using your iPhone and individual apps. Like Android P it will allow you to set a time limit for each app which will warn you when you are about hit your time limit and hit you with a “time’s up” message once the timer runs out. Group FaceTime If you always wanted to be able to facetime more than just one friend at one time the good folks at Apple have heard your cry. Thanks to iOS 12, you can now start a Facetime session that will feature up to 32 people. Now why you would want to be a part of a group text but with video is beyond us. We can see this feature being beneficial for conference calls maybe. Photos Apple is taking another page out of Google’s book with how iOS 12 will handle and store your photos. iOS 12 will now offer search suggestions, filter and effect suggestions as well as suggesting which friends to share the photo with. Honestly, something you similarly experience if you utilize Google Photo’s app BUT if you don’t want to download a Google on your iPhone (there are people like this) this update is for you. Siri Gets An Upgrade Apple is allowing third-party developers more integration with Siri giving them the ability to create shortcuts for the favorite digital assistant. Jenelle Evans 1, MTV 0. It appears as if this controversial cable network personality has won her stand-off against producers and executives, following many weeks’ worth of speculation that Evans may be fired from Teen Mom 2 . Such rumors ran wild around the Internet because Jenelle basically initiated her own boycott of the program. After MTV fired her husband, David Eason, as a result of his many homophobic remarks, Evans refused to film. She especially took a strong stance against filming the Teen Mom 2 reunion special in New York City last month, refusing to attend unless the network footed the traveling expenses for her and David. Producers refused. And Evans remained true to her word. She skipped the taping. (And, in the process, she missed quite an explosive situation, as Briana DeJesus and/or her sister allegedly brawled on stage with Kailyn Lowry as cameras rolled.) However, Radar Online now reports that Evans has essentially come out on top in this quasi game of chicken with her bosses: She WILL be part of the reunion special after all. How is this possible? Considering the special has already been filmed? MTV has agreed to send Dr. Drew Pinsky down to North Carolina to film a separate, one-on-one interview with Evans that will be incorporated into the reunion. The network has stood strong against Eason, though, as he will play no role in this filming. “ MTV arranged for Jenelle to film with just Dr. Drew in North Carolina after she threw a temper tantrum and refused to face the other girls without David,” an insider tells Radar, adding of the arrangement: “She is scheduled to film on Sunday, but David can’t be anywhere near filming. “So either he has to leave the house or Jenelle will have to go somewhere else to film.” Either way, it’s hard not to see this as a victory for Jenelle. The veteran reality star basically went on strike and dared MTV to fire her… … and the higher-ups responded by actually heading to down to Jenelle’s hometown just to make sure she remained part of the show. It’s worth noting that her mother, Barbara Evans, and her son, Jace, both traveled and filmed the Teen Mom 2 reunion in The Big Apple the the weekend of May 19, 2018. And they may very well have some negative things to say about Jenelle. But she’s also heard it all before. She can likely handle it. Just a few weeks ago, Evans got into serious legal trouble and faced major backlash after reportedly pulling a gun on a driver during a fit of road rage. Once again, chatter swirled after this incident that the famous teenage mother may get canned. And, just to be clear, this may still end up happening. She may very well film her reunion interview and then not have her contract renewed. But even if this ends up being the case, check out the photo gallery and story below: Evans and DeJesus are already lining up their post-Teen Mom plans: View Slideshow: Jenelle Evans & Briana DeJesus: Starring In Their Own Teen Mom 2 Spinoff?!
Scott Disick rose to fame, of course, as a cast member on Keeping Up with the Kardashians. Which is kind of ironic, it turns out. Because Scott Disick cannot keep it in his pants. Indeed, multiple celebrity gossip outlets are now reporting that Sofia Richie has broken up with Disick because she thinks he cheated on her with another woman. We’ll wait for you to pick up your jaw from the floor before continuing with any further detail… All ready? All set? Has the complete and total shock of this news worn off? Okay then: “He cheated on her in Miami and she found out and told [her father] Lionel,” a source tells Us Weekly, adding: “He said he is going to cut her off and write her out of his will if she continues her relationship with Scott as he thinks he’s extremely toxic for her.” Yikes. Lionel Richie has made it clear in the past that he h opes his daughter cuts Disick loose . E! News, meanwhile, an outlet typically locked in to the happenings surrounding anything or anyone Kardashian-related, echoes this account. An insider tells this website the same thing: Disick stepped out on Richie in Miami, not very long after the stars returned from a romantic trip to St. Bart’s, and Sofia’s dad really did play a key role in the break-up. The couple was also still technically an item when Disick was spotted getting very cozy with some woman at Kanye West’s album listening party in Wyoming just a few days ago. Sofia “is upset and sad but feels like she had no choice and she couldn’t stand for being cheated on and being in such a toxic relationship,” says an E! source. This same individual adds that Disick “unphased by [Richie’s] decision” and “doesn’t seem to care too much.” Disick, who has two daughters and a son with Kourtney Kardashian, may now “spiral out of control immediately without Sofia around ,” E! continues. Scott and Kourtney were together for about nine years (off and on, that is) until Disick spent a few weeks partying too much in the summer of 2015. Aside from once again putting booze before his loved ones, Disick allegedly hooked up at the time with an ex-girlfriend. He’s always had difficulty remaining loyal as a boyfriend. So it’s hard to say we’re blown away by these reports, although the timing is rather incredible, even for someone we trust as little as Disick. He and Richie had just taken a vacation together, during which the latter shared the following image and also wrote, in celebration of Scott’s 35th birthday, that she loves Disick . It now looks as if the dropping of this L-Bomb has blown up in Sofia’s face. Writes E!: “She is relying on her family for support and they are trying to keep her busy. She is spending her time with them and with her close friends.” People Magazine also confirms this split and also confirms that Disick’s “sloppy” actions when drunk are what led to the parting of ways. But will it be permanent? Maybe not, in Disick’s misguided view. “He thinks she might change her mind. He isn’t really taking it seriously,” a source tells People. Disick and Richie were together for about a year. Folks were taken aback to see them together in Cannes in May of 2017… and then even more taken aback when the relationship ended up being more than a fling. Although, in Disick’s mind, let’s be honest: everything in life is a fling. View Slideshow: The Good, The Bad, The Lord: 23 Times Scott Disick Owned Reality TV
Congratulations are in order for Kat Von D! And her HUSBAND, Rafael Reyes! That’s right, yesterday Kat married Rafael, also known as Leafar Seyer, his stage name with his band, Prayers. Or, well they were technically already married — they tied the knot back in February in a quickie ceremony. Back then, she took to Instagram to call Rafael “my soul’s mate, my mind’s twin, my best friend,” and he was pretty gushy about her too, calling her “the girl of my dreams.” And even though it’s only been a few months since then, it looks like they’re more in love than ever, since they had their big wedding this weekend! The whole thing really is just so sweet, and also so stylish — wait till you see Kat’s dress! But before the actual wedding — on Friday after the rehearsal dinner — Kat took to social media once again to express her absolute happiness, along with a picture of some flowers. “Such a beautifully emotional day today,” she wrote, explaining that the next day she and Rafael “will have our wedding ceremony for our close friends + family.” “This has been the sweetest, most stress-free experience where we continuously fell in love with each other all over again with each day counting down.” As for the flowers, she said that they are three carnations that a friend brought them, and that they “represent him, me, and our sweet baby boy we are adding to our family.” Because in case you missed it, she’s pregnant, too ! “All I can say right now,” Kat continued, “is that I am so grateful fo my dear friends, and for my sweet husband.” “Lastly, thank you all for the love and for understanding that starting tomorrow we will most likely be stepping away from our phones for a while to be as present as possibly on such a beautiful day.” But thankfully, Rafael did grab his phone to give us a quick little peak at the beautiful bride! Can you even handle this beautiful Beetlejuice realness?! In the caption of the photo, Rafael told us that “In a couple hours I’ll be walking down the aisle with the love of my life,” and he added “EN VIDA Y EN MUERTE,” which is what they’ve both been writing in their captions about each other for a while now. It translates to “in life and in death,” which is nice, right? We don’t have too much more information on the wedding yet, since they do seem to be off enjoying this special time together. But in case you wanted more info on that amazing dress, it’s by designer Adolfo Sanchez! A friend was also kind enough to share a photo from the reception — you can get a full look at the dress, plus the kind of decorations you’d expect from a Kat Von D wedding. The friend congratulated the couple, saying “You are both beautiful people and deserve a lifetime of happiness together. Thanks for letting me be part of your amazing wedding!” And honestly, in case you’re not getting our feelings on this, it really does look like it was an amazing wedding. For the record, this is Kat’s second marriage — she was married to tattoo artist and Ink Master judge Oliver Peck from 2003 to 2007. (She did have a string of bad relationships and engagements between then and now, but let’s not bring up such bad memories during such a happy time.) This is Rafael’s first marriage, but he does have a daughter from a previous relationship. In a few months, they’ll welcome their baby, a boy they’ve said they’ll name Leafar. Once again, congratulations!!! View Slideshow: 33 Celebrity Wedding Dresses We Wish We Wore
A 30-year-old grown ass man lost his court battle against his parents after a judge ruled that he does, in fact, have to move out of their house. This story is wild, but actually a bit more serious than people might first believe. We've included a video from the courthouse below, but that only tells part of the story. The full back-and-forth between New York State Supreme Court Justice Donald Greenwood and Michael Rotondo lasted approximately a half hour. Though the judge ordered that Rotondo would have to move out of his folks' house in Camillus, N.Y., outside Syracuse, he also ordered that Adult Protective Services investigate the situation. To a degree, perhaps Judge Greenwood was simply doing his due diligence in a case involving family members at home. But it is clear to anyone watching this case that something is … not right. It began when Rotondo's parents offered to help him to find an apartment and even offered him money, giving him over $1,000 … which he then used on “expenses” without moving. Following that, they stopped paying for his phone and … well, they ended up in court. Since first being reported, the Rotondo story has been picked up by New York Post , Fox News, the BBC, and The Late Late Show with James Corden . Greenwood praised Rotondo's legal research after Rotondo pointed to a prior case in which it was determined that a family member had the right to six months between being served with an eviction and actually being required to leave. This period of time is designed so that someone can make enough money to secure new housing. There are all sorts of eviction laws to cover many situations. Greenwood patiently explained to Rotondo that there is an appellate court case that establishes that, in short, the case that Rotondo cited does not apply to his particular family situation. Rotondo referred to the judge's ruling as “outrageous.” Judge Greenwood referred to Rotondo's demand that he be allowed to remain as being similarly “outrageous.” Though the judge urged Rotondo to speak to his parents, Mark and Christina, and reach an amicable arrangement, Rotondo refused. After the court ruling, Rotondo spoke to the press who had gathered. Rotondo says that there have not been any “incidents” between him and his parents. In fact, he says that they effectively do not speak with each other. He says that they do not provide him with food or with laundry, but that they do provide him with a residence. He describes getting food in the kitchen as being similar to a buffet line, and that he waits for his parents to vacate the room before cooking his own meals. When asked what he does to support himself, Rotondo says that he has a business, but refused to identify it, instead saying: “My business is my business.” After speaking to the press, he returned to his parents' house. He plans to attempt to appeal the ruling. Here is why this is serious. Rotondo has a son, of whom he does not have custody. From our understanding, it looks like he has attempted to sue for custody on the grounds that not having custody is discrimination against him, as a “poor person.” It seems that he fears that accepting money from his parents and having his own residence, while normally things that would make a person seem like a more viable parent, would undercut his bid for custody. If your parents are just handing you over $1,000, it's kind of hard to argue that you're impoverished. Another cause for worry is that Rotondo has a 2009 arrest for allegedly stalking a woman at her home. Many have speculated that Rotondo may have certain unresolved … issues. But obviously, he is in no way representative of most people who live at home. With two decades of wage stagnation while rent and housing prices continue to climb, it is increasingly difficult for even employed adults to find housing. Though a lot of media attention to the Rotondo case has likely been due to older generations finding amusement at the idea of a man so accustomed to being pampered that he'd rather go to court than move out, there's more going on here. And, again, there are plenty of young adults who would love nothing more than to move out … and would be happy to, if they started making a living wage. We hope that Rotondo's story has a happy ending. Perhaps APS will be able to assist Rotondo by connecting him to whichever resources he needs.

Christopher Peterson/Splash News Civil Rights Activist Essie Berry Said Steve Harvey Is Trying To Ruin Her Life Steve Harvey allegedly hired muscle to harass and intimidate a civil rights activist and “murder her emotional state of mind” after he learned that she was working on a reality show with his ex-wife. That’s according to a new amended $5 million from civil rights activist Essie Berry, who has sued the “Family Feud” host for defamation, despicable conduct, intentional infliction of mental anguish and emotional distress after she said he launched a years-long campaign of menacing behavior against her, according to court documents filed May 22 and obtained by BOSSIP. Berry, the widow of “What’s Happening” sitcom star Fred Berry – alleges Harvey was out to get her after his ex-wife, Mary Vaughn, agreed to participate in a reality show she’d been pitched, titled “Widows, Wives and Ex-Celebrity Wives.” But Berry said she didn’t know that Vaughn had OK’d a nondisclosure agreement as part of her divorce from Harvey that barred her from speaking about their life together. Berry said once Harvey found out about the potential deal, he and his lawyer tried to silence Berry though “malicious prosecution,” and he publicly accused her of being an “extortionist” and a “co-conspirator,” smearing her good name and causing the reality show offers to dry up. “…The defendant went (to) great lengths to make Ms. Berry’s life a living hell,” Berry wrote in court docs. Harvey has denied any wrongdoing and accused Berry of abusing the justice system. In her new complaint, Berry said that Harvey allegedly took his harassment a step further and had unknown individuals browbeat her over the phone, tried to confront her at a family member’s home and that on another occasion, late at night, a man hid in the bushes outside of a friend’s home and peered in the windows looking for Berry. “When someone saw the man peeking in the window, he was confronted,” Berry wrote in her new complaint. “This is when he identified himself as an affiliate of Harvey, not an officer of any court. He asked for the plaintiff by first name, then ran off.”

A 17-year-old named Kyle Steven Bahner has been arrested for filming two of his fellow students having sex in a school bathroom. What was probably an impulsive decision could cost him big time and reshape his future for the worst. If convicted, he could spend years behind bars, as the video below will explain. Kyle Bahner is a Georgia teen who attends Harrison High School. It was at school, during lunch hours, during which he allegedly entered the men's restroom and overheard the tell-tale signs of sexual activity. What should have been an amusing anecdote to share with his friends became something else, as she held his phone above the stall in which the sex was taking place. There, he recorded two fellow students, a 15-year-old girl and a 16-year-old boy, having sex within the stall. He reportedly recorded all of this without their permission. To make things worse, he then distributed that video to a number of friends via social media. That, folks, is a crime. On a scripted teen drama, something like this might happen When the assistant principal learned that this video was being spread, Cobb County police were notified. According to the warrant, Bahner told administrators: “I took a video of a guy and a girl in a stall because I don't see how they should let that happen and I was showing it to my friends.” He is charged with eavesdropping surveillance, and has been released on $5,000 bail. If convicted, he could face 1-5 years in prison. A number of people are blaming the victims for this. To be clear, though having sex on campus is almost certainly against school rules, they were clearly trying to avoid being seen and did not in any way invite being recorded. (While not everyone engages in it, sex in bathrooms is a pretty normal occurrence in high school) Additionally, a lot of people are asking why he has not been charged with child pornography. After all, a number of teens have been charged with that hefty, life-ruining label for taking photos of themselves . The answer, quite frankly, is that the video did not show anyone's genitals. At least there's that. As you can see, Twitter was full of misinformed outrage among other responses. While it is totally normal for someone to have the impulse to share what they are seeing, it is not appropriate to film people having sex and distribute it without their consent. Especially when the students are minors. For that matter, if you're alone in a bathroom, a mirror selfie is fine. Beyond that … nobody needs to be photographing or recording anything in bathrooms. Bahner has also gotten into trouble with the school for this incident. “This incident has been thoroughly investigated by school administrators and school district police. In addition to the criminal charge, appropriate action has been taken in accordance with the Student Code of Conduct.” Well … that was vague, but that's appropriate. Bahner, like his alleged victims, is a minor.
