Because of the damage done to marshlands, oyster reef habitats and seagrass beds through human activities — the most recent of which is of course the Gulf oil disaster — fisheries have suffered. Lakers take Game 1 of the 2010 NBA Finals over hated rival the Boston Celtics. We’ve got your recap and stats here. Though Kobe Bryant finished with 7 more points than Gasol, the Spaniard’s dominance in the paint and with rebounds was the driving factor in the Lakers win. Gasol easily outplayed rival Kevin Garnett of the Celtics.
