Then vs. Now This time last month, she was floating along with her douchebag swamp monster of a husband, David Eason. She had her MTV job, full custody of Kaiser and Ensley and visitation with Jace. Life was OK. 4. Ugh Then David beat and killed her French bulldog puppy, Nugget. And after that, everything pretty much went all to hell. 5. Nice Try She sold some statements about how she was considering divorcing David for what he’d done, but just a few days later she was back home, pretending like everything was normal. 6. These days, with everyone & everything being seen on the internet — you really gotta watch what you’re sharing to the world. But you all know that. Ariana Grande should also know that — though it seems she recently slipped up because she is now being sued after sharing images of herself to Instagram … that technically didn’t belong to her? That’s right — the “Sweetener” singer is in some legal hot water after posting images to her social media page. Something that she does almost daily. And while 3 million of the pop star’s fans showed the photo lots of love, her legal team wasn’t too impressed. In court documents obtainted by E! News, a paparazzi photographer Robert Barbera is suing the singer claiming copyright infringement. According to Robert, Ari publicized photographs on her Instagram page that he captured without licensing. In addition, the New York based photog claims that she didn’t have his “permission or consent to publish the photographs.” He is now looking for monetary relief, naturally, from the copyright infringement, attorney fees and costs, falsifying copyright management, statutory damages up to $25,000 for each violation. In the photos, the Grammy winner is carying a see-through bag with the word “Sweetener” on it as she was exiting a building. Two of the photos were shared to Grande’s official IG account back in August of 2018, the day her fourth studio album “Sweeterner” was released. “Happy sweetener day,” she wrote in the caption. The original post has since been deleted, though an edited version currently remains on her account promoting her merch. E! has reached out to Ari’s team for comments, but has yet to hear back. As fans of the “thank u, next singer” are well aware — she is often times very good at communcating with her followers via her social media accounts. Whether she is opening up about a recent brain scan , or just posing for selfies, the 25-year-old is all about keeping her 154 million followers up-to-date on her life. For the most part, that is. We will just have to stand by to see if she is willing to open up about her (totally underdanstandable) photo fail with her fellow Arianators. Grande, however, is not the first celeb to be scolded for posting a paparazzi photo to their social media pages. In January, model Gigi Hadid found herself embroiled in a lawsuit (again!) with a photo agency after posting a picture they had taken of her to her 44 million Insta followers. Kim Kardashian West, Jennifer Lopez, 50 Cent, and Jessica Simposn have also been targeted by agencies for re-using photos. Of themselves. Paparazzi members have been suffering (obviously) as the rise of social media has changed the way we look at the rich and famous. Many celebs use the platform to take control of their own images and open up personally with their fans, devaluing the tabloid images. Besides, when did these entertainers give these agencies permission or consent to snap photos of them walking to their car or entering a building? It seems quite ironic and a tad unfair, but at the end of the day as long as the photos of the public figures are taken in a public place, it is totally legal. The paparazzi built an industry around capturing candid photos of Hollywood’s biggest stars, but now that’s going away. So it seems they’re turning to an additional source of revenue — suing those stars for posting their pics to Instagram. What has the world come to, really? For once, the rumors about the Royal Baby have been proven true. No, not the one about Meghan Markle faking her pregnancy and using a surrogate. But the one about this Duchess and Prince Harry selecting an unusual, somewhat American name for their firstborn. Two days after giving birth to a precious son , Markle has joined with her famous husband in announcing the infant’s full name: Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor. Yep, it’s a mouthful. And it certainly was not among the final list of strong Royal Baby Name contenders. “The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are pleased to announce they have named their first born child: Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor,” the couple announced on Instagram on Wednesday, May 8. They shared this message along with the photo above, adding via caption: “This afternoon Their Royal Highnesses introduced Her Majesty The Queen to her eighth great-grandchild at Windsor Castle. “The Duke of Edinburgh and the duchess’ mother were also present for this special occasion.” Prior to the baby name reveal and the picture featuring Her Highness, Markle and Harry posed just themselves with little Archie, whose name is causing most Americans to crack jokes about the comic book and/or CW show by this same name. “MY DUCHESS IS A RIVERDALE FAN!!!!!!!!! COME ON, ARCHIE!!!” one user Tweeted after learning of the news. A second person referenced the aforemented drama and wrote: “So the #RoyalBaby has been called Archie? The name has multiple meanings. In Scotland, it translates to “true and bold,” while in Germany, it means “truly brave.” The newborn’s middle name, Harrison, is of English descent and means “son of Harry.” Seems appropriate, right? The moniker is also a tribute to the prince’s late/beloved mother, Princess Diana, as one of her ancestors was Archibald Campbell, 9th Earl of Argyll, from Scotland. Bet you didn’t know that! The stars had several monikers from which to choose after their first royal tour together, as the Duchess of Sussex revealed in October 2018. “We’ve been given a long list of names from everyone,” the former Suits actress said during an informal Q&A with a group of students in Melbourne, Australia, at the time. Well, as you’ve no doubt heard by now, Meghan Markle welcomed her first child today. Based on his comments to the press, we know that Prince Harry is excited about fatherhood , but Meghan is still lying low, recovering, and spending time with her bouncing baby boy. Of course, royal-watchers are all over the world are overjoyed with the news that the delivery went smoothly, and both mother and son are resting comfortably. But many also find themselves consumed by burning questions. Sure, some of the big ones were answered today, but several others remain — including the all-important mystery of what Meghan and Harry will name their child . As is always the case with this sort of thing, the question of the baby’s name means big business for the global gambling community, with thousands placing their bets on the favorites. The most common predictions are names that have traditionally been favored by the royals — Arthur, Henry, George, and the like. But this time around, several dark horse candidates have proven to be popular and it seems that’s all thanks to Meghan. Yes, many believe that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will break with tradition in order to honor Meghan’s American roots. One prominent purveyor of this theory is royal expert Victoria Arbiter, who repeated her hypothesis to CBS this week just prior to the announcement that Meghan had welcomed a boy” “I don’t have an inside track on the actual name but I think when it comes to names we are looking at a very strong name because that is who Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are,” Arbiter said. “But I also think we are going to see a name that works on both sides of the pond. “For example, something like Eleanor, Eleanor of Aquitaine was a 12th-century queen, she was highly influential and well respected.” Obviously, that one went out the window as soon as we realized we were dealing with a prince and not a princess. (Although if Meghan and Harry wanted to defy convention, naming a boy Eleanor would certainly do the trick.) Fortunately, Victoria had some theories regarding boys’ names, too: “When we come to boys Alexandra is the Queen’s middle name, Alexander is the masculine form,” Arbiter added. “Alexander Hamilton is one of the founding fathers in the US,” she continued. “So I think there are a lot of names here that work with the British Royal Family tree but also have strong roots in the US.” So there you have it — smart money is on Alexander, it seems. And you might still have time to place your bet. Move over, Meghan Markle . You are no longer the only famous person celebrating first-time motherhood today. Comedian and actress Amy Schumer announced to the world a few hours ago that she, too, has welcomed a child into the world, sharing the precious photo below of herself, her son and her husband on Instagram. “10:55 p.m. last night,” she wrote as a caption. “Our royal baby was born.” Schumer and Chris Fisher got married in a surprise ceremony in Malibu in February of 2018 . She then announced she was expecting in October. The following month, Schumer revealed she had been hospitalized due to hyperemesis gravidarum, a pregnancy complication characterized by severe nausea. It sounds like the past nine months or so have not been very pleasant for Amy. “I am in the hospital. I’m fine. Baby’s fine but everyone who says the 2nd trimester is better is not telling the full story. I’ve been even more ill this trimester,” the Trainwreck star explained back then. She continued at the time: “I have hyperemesis and it blows. Very lucky to be pregnant but this is some bulls–t! Sending so much love to the doctors and nurses taking great care of me and Tati! They are cool as hell!” Thankfully, Schumer never lost her sense of humor throughout this difficult pregnancy. Heck, she stopped at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City ON THE WAY TO THE HOSPITAL WHILE SHE WAS IN LABOR yesterday in order to pose on the front steps. “Met look this year. Last night on the way to the hospital,” she wrote as a caption to this amazing photo, making a reference to tonight’s MET Gala. No word yet on the measurements of Schumer’s son or his name. But we’re sure those details will come in time. We’re just glad Schumer is doing okay after delivery. “I love doing stand-up more than anything and I hate cancelling shows. I have to postpone some until I feel human again,” she wrote in November when her condition became too trying to bear. “But i will make up these dates and we will have a great time. “But I’m so grateful and excited to be a mom. I’m grateful I have access to healthcare, as we all should have.” This past Saturday, Schumer revealed the gender of her baby in a lengthy post where she spoke out against fast-food chain Wendy’s in the caption of an image featuring herself and Fischer in their pediatrician’s waiting room. “Hey! We love @chancetherapper and hate to be the ones to tell him that Wendys is the only fast food chain refusing to protect farmworker women from sexual assault and rape in the fields. “This is true. Please read that sentence again,” she wrote in part, prior to concluding: “Also we are having a boy.” CONGRATS!

According to CNN, 4-year-old Maleah Davis’ stepdad, Darion Vence, told detectives that he, Maleah and his son were on their way to the airport Friday night to pick up Maleah’s mother, who was flying in from Massachusetts, Holbrook said. The stepfather then heard a “popping noise” like a popped tire and pulled over to check on it. That’s when he says a blue pickup truck pulled up behind the car and two Hispanic males got out. One of the men commented, “Maleah looks very nice, looks very sweet,” according to Vence’s account. The other man hit Vence in the head and he lost consciousness, he told the police. When Vence woke up, he said, he was in the back of the truck with Maleah and her brother. But three Hispanic males were suddenly in the truck, the stepfather said. He told police he was in and out of consciousness until about 6 p.m. Saturday, when he woke up on Highway 6 with the 1-year-old boy. Maleah was not there. Vence said he walked to a nearby hospital where he received treatment and reported her missing. Earlier this week the billionaire was seen chatting with both JAY-Z, Meek Mill and Philadelphia 76ers co-owner Michael Rubin. The four moguls met for REFORM Alliance; an organization whose goal is to bring more common sense to the United States criminal justice system. Led by CNN’s Van Jones, the group discussed reform, policy, advancing employment opportunities and more. Rob’s attendance is especially interesting as he is currently fighting to keep video footage of him allegedly getting sexually serviced by a masseuse at the now infamous Orchids of Asia Spa in Florida. His legal team addressed the court in Palm Beach County stating “the requirements to curtail what can be captured must be scrutinized and high levels of responsibility must be met to avoid the intrusion on the activities of the innocent. These strict standards were simply not met in this case. There was no effort made to avoid capturing innocent activity behind the closed-door of a massage room. There is no other remedy but to suppress the evidence gathered.” Kraft has pleaded not guilty to misdemeanor charges of soliciting prostitution. He is due at court in late May. Well, folks, another season of The Bachelorette is just around the corner. And if you’re anything like us, you can’t wait to see Hannah Brown find love among her 32 suitors. Hannah has the honor of anchoring a milestone season for the show. This is the series’ 15th go-round, and to celebrate, host Chris Harrison sat down with all of the former Bachelorettes. Well … almost all of the former Bachelorettes. When this photo appeared on Harrison’s official Instagram account, fans were quick to point a pair of surprising absences. Two of the OG three stars of the show — Meredith Phillips from season two and Jen Schefft from season three — were nowhere to be found. Fans — at least the ones who have been watching long enough to remember those two — immediately wanted to know what was going on. The pic was posted just days after we learned that two suitors were booted from Hannah’s season prior to filming due to allegations of inappropriate behavior. So was there any such scandal surrounding Jen and Meredith’s absence? Well, if you’re hoping for something juicy, we’re afraid we have some bad news. The ladies were apparently absent due to a boring old scheduling conflict. “Unfortunately Jen and Meredith couldn’t be there because we had to settle on a date,” Harrison told E! News. “At the end of the day, we had to shoot this thing,” he added. “So, we just picked a day where we could get as many as we possibly could, but unfortunately schedules, vacations, was one of them, just couldn’t be changed. “And we just had to pull the trigger and do this thing.” Of course, there might be more to the story than Harrison is letting on. Schefft is now a married mother of two who has made a point of avoiding the spotlight in recent years. Conversely, Phillips came forward last year and alleged that she was sexually assaulted by a masseuse during the filming of her season. She has not spoken publicly about whether or not that incident impacted her decision to avoid the reunion taping. In any event, Harrison says he’s pleased with the turnout: “I was grateful that we had as many as we did, which was 12 of the 14,” he tells E! “Obviously [new Bachelorette] Hannah [Brown] is not a part of it, she’s shooting the show.” As for Jen and Meredith, Chris says they have not been forgotten: “Jen and Meredith are represented, they’re celebrated in this thing, we love them very much and they’re a part of our family and this sisterhood, but they just couldn’t join us,” he says.
