But one song in particular stood out from the rest. Hov dedicated his song “The Story Of O.J.” to football player/activist Colin Kaepernick and late comedian/activist Dick Gregory during his 90 minute set. “I want to dedicate this song to Colin Kaepernick tonight,” Hov said. “I want to dedicate this to Dick Gregory. I want to dedicate this song to anyone that was held back and you overcame.” Many believe Kaepernick, who is currently a free agent in the NFL, is being blacklisted for refusing to stand during the National Anthem in protest of this country’s history of police brutality. Yup, you know the format — when Tyrese argues in more than five sentences on Instagram. The actor took to the social media to explain his earlier rant against Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson . The former wrestler allegedly won’t hit Tyrese back about a possible The Fast and the Furious spinoff movie centered around The Rock’s character, Luke Hobbs. Apparently, if you don’t give Tyrese a call back about a major project, he’ll escalate things real quick. After calling Johnson out in the comment section of one of his pictures, Tyrese goes into details in a post of his own. “I have never and will never have a problem with this major movie star, he’s my brother… I repeat never,” Tyrese said. He then rants that didn’t like The Rock’s Bay Watch but he did like The Rock’s singing in Moana. He finally gets back on message, saying, “I’m simply trying to reach him cause he won’t call me back about this solo #HobbsMovie. I want you to shoot it just not right now cause the #Fast9 release date has already been announced and we can’t let our loyal fans #FastFamily or our loyal fast and furious FANS down on any level from pushing the date.” Tyrese puts even more of his business out there by saying he already had a great call with someone from The Rock’s production company. He argues that he’s making all this information public because he wants to continue doing business with folks in the Fast & Furious world. “We do this on behalf of the families, the cast, the crew members who have been down and loyal to us for 15 years……Everyone matters……When we shoot we all eat, when we eat we show up as a FAMILY display our love, our funny stuff, our story lines and HEARTS in every frame.” You can read Tyrese’s essay below and let us know what you think.

Rae star posted a heartfelt message on Instagram, saying that the makeup conglomerate chose her to represent the brand. “I remember being an awkward black girl in high school, reading the pagers of my favorite magazines, casually flipping through @COVERGIRL ads, singing their slogan in my head. Never EVER in my life did I imagine I’d be one. I am SO honored and SO excited for what’s to come,” Rae wrote. The writer/producer joins a host of other celebrities who posed for the brand including Queen Latifah , Janelle Monae , Tyra Banks , Rihanna and Eva Pigford . The Duggar Family can now count a new precious bundle of joy among its members. It was revealed via the family blog on Tuesday night that Anna Duggar and Josh Duggar have welcomed their fifth child into the world. His name is Mason Garrett… he weighed nine pounds and one ounce at birth… he measured 22 inches in length… and HERE HE IS: “We are so thankful and happy to announce the arrival of our new son, Mason Garrett Duggar. Both he and Anna are doing well,” reads the blog post, continuing as follows: “He arrived today without complication and we already adore him. The entire family is ecstatic over the arrival of another beautiful blessing. “We want to thank everyone for your prayers, kind words and well wishes. We appreciate it much more than we could ever express. “We pray God blesses each of you with an abundance of the kindness you’ve shown us.” Just as Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar have named all their children with “J” monikers, Anna and Josh have chosen an “M” theme for their children. As such, Mason joins older siblings Mackynzie (seven years old), Michael (six years old), Marcus (four years old) and Meredith (two years old). The couple announced in a blog entry on the same Duggar website in March that they were expecting another child this year. This one came as a surprise because… well… Josh has quite the sordid family history. He admitted two years prior to this pregnancy announcement that he had molested two of his sisters, an ugly scandal that his parents helped him cover up. They didn’t report Josh – who was a teenager when his committed these heinous actions – to the authorities, choosing instead to handle the behavior internally. Duggar acknowledged this dark mark in his past upon announcing Anna was expecting once again. He wrote at the time: “For nearly the last two years, we have quietly worked to save our marriage, focus on our children, and rebuild our lives together as a family.” “Doing so is never easy after a breach of trust… We’ve learned that a life of faith and rebuilding a life together is simply done one day at a time.” As recently as last week, it was reported that Josh and Anna remained in marriage counseling . This report alleged that the ex-reality stars are “trying desperately to salvage their troubled relationship,” which was also placed in major danger when Josh confessed to cheating on Anna . Wrote Anna and Josh several months ago: “As we continue our journey as a family and rebuild our lives, we are delighted to share with you that we are expecting a new baby boy later this year.” “Beauty comes from ashes and we cannot wait to see and kiss the face of this sweet new boy!” In August of 2015, Josh checked into a faith-based rehab facility in Illinois, not long after admitting he was addicted to pornography and had been unfaithful to Anna. He completed this stint in March of last year. Later this month, meanwhile, he and Anna will celebrate their ninth wedding anniversary. As for other members of Josh’s famous family? They’ve been busy procreating and getting married, per usual. Joseph Duggar exchanged vows with Kendra Caldwell this past weekend, while Joy-Anna Duggar announced late last month that she’s pregnant with her first child. But for the most positive of reasons, at least. No matter what you think of this man and/or his decisions over the years, there’s now another tiny human being in the picture. Lil Uzi Vert proved a long time ago that he was about the rock star lifestyle — now he has a rock legend co-signing his talent. In a recent interview with Consequence of Sound , Uzi’s idol and rock icon Marilyn Manson revealed that he’s been in talks with the Philly rapper and plans to work with him on a new album. He told the site, “[Uzi] wants to do a rock album next, and I would love to see that happen because I think that he could make a new thing. Not some rock/rap type of thing, something special and new that I think needs to be created just to f*** the world up more.” Manson added, “I think that if I had to pick what Lil Uzi Vert should be, if he’s involved in rock, it’s an early Bad Brains or Faith No More, but with a catchier element. I think he has punk rock in him. He’s a lil’ crazy m*therf*cker. And good. Smart as f*ck. He has an attitude like I did, and I like that about him.” Uzi has never been quiet about his love for the rock legend and his desire to create a more authentic sound. You may recall that at the 2017 Video Music Awards, he performed a mashup of his hit record “XO ToUR Llif3” with Ed Sheeran on guitar and singing the hook. Source: Chicago Tribune / Getty The devastating, untimely death of Kenneka Jenkins (who goes by Keneeka Martin on Facebook) sent shock waves through the social media community, spawning the hashtag #JusticeForKenneka. Kenneka’s name trended on Twitter yesterday after the story went viral, spawning numerous citizen journalists who pieced together their own respective theories. MUST READ: Mother Of Teen Found Dead In Freezer: ‘Someone In This Hotel Killed My Child’ Here’s all we know about the tragic case so far: 1.Kenneka Jenkins left home around 11:30 pm on September 9 to attend a kickback with friends at the Crowne Plaza Chicago O’Hare Hotel & Conference Center. 2. She was reportedly last seen by her friends in the early hours of the morning. Kenneka’s sister last spoke to her at 1:30 am around the alleged time she went missing. 3. The friends called Kenneka’s mother, Teresa Martin, around 4:30 am to inform her they couldn’t find Kenneka. Martin rushed to the hospital and asked hotel staff to see surveillance video, but was referred to police, who instructed her to wait. 4. 19-year-old Kenneka Jenkins was found dead in a walk-in freezer in a vacant area of the Crowne Plaza Chicago O’Hare Hotel & Conference Center. 5. Irene Roberts appeared to be live streaming the “kickback” on Kenneka friend’s Monifa Shelton’s FB page. Kenneka can allegedly be seen in the reflection of camerawoman’s sunglasses in the final moments before she went missing. The video and other social media posts are being investigated by police. 6. Kenneka’s alleged voice can be heard in the background of the video. 7. One of the girls on the live Facebook video reportedly works at the Crowne Plaza Chicago O’Hare Hotel & Conference Center where Kenneka partied and eventually died. 8. Martin claims police told her Kenneka drunkenly stumbled into the freezer, fell asleep and died. 9. Investigators have access to surveillance footage and have been questioning witnesses, however, they have not released information about how Kenneka died or got into the freezer. 10. During a recent Facebook live protest and press conference, the mother said, she’s been getting different stories from both the police and friends. “I’m getting a bunch of different stories from friends and police.” 11. A video of Kenneka and her friend, who was reportedly with her before she disappeared, appear in this video on Monifah Shelton’s Facebook page. 12. Citizen journalists have pieced together different theories and timelines in an attempt to solve Kenneka’s mysterious death. 13. Countless infuencers like Tami Roman have taken to social media to voice their opinions about the case. We pray Kenneka and her family get the justice they deserve.
