Following an embarrassing fall at the BRIT Awards , Madonna is doing her best to make headlines for what comes out of her mouth… as opposed where she ends up on her rear end. The legendary singer recently lamented the rise of anti-Semitism in France and compared that nation to Nazi Germany . She also said Kanye West is a black version of… herself. And now The Material Girl is featured in the latest issue of Out, which hits newsstands on March 17, and she’s explaining to the magazine why she wants to date a gay man. Kind of. Sort of. There’s just one issue… “I didn’t feel like straight men understood me. They just wanted to have sex with me,” Madonna says of her romantic history. “Gay men understood me, and I felt comfortable around them. There was only that one problem, which is that they didn’t want to have sex with me! So…conundrum! “I was like, ‘How am I ever going to get a date? Maybe if I cut my hair and I lose a lot of weight, someone will mistake me for a guy and ask me out.” In some ways, meanwhile, Madonna also wishes she were gay. “Gay rights are way more advanced than women’s rights People are a lot more open-minded to the gay community than they are to women. “It’s moved along for the gay community, for the African-American community, but women are still just trading on their ass. To me, the last great frontier is women…. Women are still the most marginalized group. “You’re still categorized – you’re still either a virgin or a whore. You might remember the name Sydney Leathers from the Anthony Weiner sexting scandal that derailed the once-beloved politician’s 2013 New York City mayoral campaign. If you know anything about Kim Kardashian, you know the girl loves a good selfie. Kim is even publishing a book of her selfies , because apparently, no one told her that the Internet exists, and she’s naked all over it. Kim loves taking photos of North West , too, of course, because baby pictures are like selfies that don’t make you look like a self-obsessed egomaniac. You get all of the praise, but none of the concerns that you suffer from narcissistic personality disorder. But it seems like the ideal situation for Kim is when she gets to combine her love of herself with her love for little Nori with a selfie/baby picture: Yes, North wasn’t cropped out of this selfie , but maybe she should’ve been. North is as adorable as ever, of course, but some folks have taken issue with this photo. The problem, apparently, is that Kim captioned this pic, “Reading books before bedtime,” which led many to believe she allows North. It’s hard for Kim to do much of anything without receiving some criticism, and allowing North to maybe, possibly doze off with a potential choking hazard around her neck is no different. To be clear: If Kim allows her 21-month-old daughter to sleep alone through the night with a sting of pearls around her neck, then yes, someone should tell her to stop doing that. But if she lies in bed and reads with her daughter, who happens to be wearing a necklace, well…she might actually be a better mom than she gets credit for. But our standards are pretty low. Back in January, Teresa Giudice reported to prison to begin serving a 15-month sentence on fraud charges. Since then, reports about Teresa’s life behind bars have painted a bleak picture. Sources say Teresa earns 12 cents an hour working in the prison laundry room, and she shares a small cubicle with five other inmates. Despite her less-than-ideal conditions, however, Teresa has vowed to be rich again , and remarkably, she might already be on her way to achieving that goal. “During a recent visit to the prison, a member of Teresa’s family snapped three photos of her smiling,” a source tells Radar Online. “In the photos she is wearing the light brown prison outfit she is required to wear. She isn’t wearing makeup, either.” The insider claims that Teresa has already sold the photos for $100,000 and they published in an undisclosed magazine some time this month. But while she may have pulled in a nice paycheck from the deal, the photos could spell trouble for Teresa: “You cannot take cell phones into the prison, but somehow, this particular family member was able to – and snapped away without the guards noticing,” says the insider. “You can be assured that the prison and its warden are going to be furious when these images are published. It could have serious consequences for Teresa.” Yes, Teresa could actually wind up with a longer sentence as a result of her decision to make a little extra cash by bending the rules.
