Australian Model Ruby Tuesday Matthews told an Instagram Follower this week that she followed a strict diet of cigarettes, black coffee and cocaine to stay pin thin. Ruby held a Q&A on social media and candidly revealed her secret to her nearly 200,000 followers. “I get asked this a lot and I think I’ll clear this up… the reason I was so small before having kids… I did a lot of cocaine,” she said. “I did a lot of cocaine, like a lot, so basically I just smoked cigarettes, had [black coffee] and did coke. People don’t realize how easy it is to hide something. Whether it’s addiction, depression, anxiety, it’s easy to hide those things. “My life was tapas and cocaine.” She added that the drug is more popular than people think, especially with influencers. “I need to be careful what I’m saying here, but in the influencer industry, everyone loves the baggie,’ she wrote. “That is how most physiques are maintained.” https://www.instagram.com/rubytuesdaymatthews/?utm_source=ig_embed Ruby who’s clean now has been getting positive praise for her honesty. But now that she’s found the man of her dreams in A-Rod , she’s reflecting on why that might be. The 49-year-old stunner covers the February issue of Harper’s Bazaar in all red Gucci and opens up about media scrutiny, her kids, and being in a better place now than she had been previously. As far as her rollercoaster journey with love, she tells the publication: “For me, the relationship journey has been very up and down. But it didn’t have to do with anybody else but me—it was about me figuring out me.” “Until you learn to love yourself, you can’t completely love [someone else] in a way that is pure and true. Once you do that, you can have relationships that are based on love and respect, that are supportive and nourishing. There’s an evolution there that had to happen for me,” J. Lo adds. “I feel like I’m in a better place now.” On being scrutinized by the media: “You’re trying to do your best and people are putting you down, or trying to make believe you’re not a nice person, or you’re a diva. I’m always like, ‘Who are you talking about?’” On life today: “I’ve got two amazing kids and a great boyfriend. I don’t have everything figured out, and everything isn’t perfect. But I feel very proud that with all the things I’ve gone through in my personal life, I’m still optimistic and hopeful.” On feeling boxed in early on in her career: “From early on in my career, I felt like people wanted to put me in a box. You will play these sorts of roles, do this type of thing. Or you will only act. You cannot sing and act at the same time. But unlike Chance the Rapper and John Legend who have come out against the “I Believe I Can Fly” singer, the rapper blames the parents, NOT the singer himself. On social media, the rapper posted his thoughts about the highly-watched Lifetime docuseries, “Surviving R. Kelly,” which provided an in-depth look at the 25-plus-years of sexual misconduct accusations against the “Pied Piper.” The 48-year-old father admitted that he doesn’t like folks like the Savages and doesn’t believe they did enough to protect their children. “Let me tell y’all about R. Kelly. The truth is I don’t like the parents…Y’all know I ain’t gonna be on no reality show or Lifetime, I’ma be on CNN, straight up. It’s gonna get real, think about it, I’m not about to play with nobody, I’ma burn it down, I’m gonna do something,” he said. In a second video, he added this wouldn’t have happened to him. “Ain’t nobody gonna play with my kids. Straight up. You shouldn’t have even been on TV, and if you a parent, you shouldn’t be on that unless you on CNN from a jail cell.” Adding, “I don’t know if R. Kelly did it or not, that ain’t any of my business, I ain’t judging, but I’m just saying those parents shouldn’t have let that go that far. … If my kid in there, it’s gonna be all out war. Everybody coming outside, to be honest with you.” Wait…so which one is it? How can you be mad at parents for not protecting their daughters from sexual and physical violence you claim may not have happened? On a previous Leah’s Lemonade I talked about the drama going on behind the scenes of B2K’s private lives could be seeping into the possibility of the Millennium Tour. For the last few weeks there has been speculations that Omarion’s baby mama, Apryl Jones and his fellow bandmate Lil Fizz have been in a relationship. Tension’s got high between Apryl and Moniece Slaughter, Fizz’ baby mama. Fans began to speculate that the two members of B2K’s drama would cause there to be a pause on the tour. Well Omarion said NOT ON HIS WATCH! The singer was on BET’s Raq Rants where he said his peace about Fizz and Apryl’s possible relationship. A former member of Bachelor Nation managed to steal attention away from the current Bachelor on Monday night. But not in a positive sense. Early yesterday, Josh Murray – who asked for Andi Dorfman’s hand in marriage on the finale of The Bachelorette Season 14 – shaded his former fiancee, sharing a photo on Twitter of him proposing to Dorfman on the series… … except he replaced Dorfman’s head with that of a Devil emoji. Hilarious, right?!? Not quite, basically every social media user shot back in reply. Murray deleted the photo in response to this backlash (although nothing is ever gone entirely from the Internet and we’ve posted it below), while also issuing the following mea culpa: You know, I got hit up with a lot of messages. I haven’t been looking at my social media. Apparently, my post made some waves in a bad way. I thought it was just funny. I thought it was humorous, but apparently it wasn’t very humorous. I guess I’m not very funny. I was trying to be funny in a half-hearted way, but everybody takes it so seriously and that’s my fault. I should know better. Tsk tsk. That’s a classic non-apology, isn’t it? He’s saying he’s sorry — but only because everyone takes things way too seriously and never lightens up he ought to have realized this and it’s only his bad because folks aren’t as chill and relaxed as he is. What a douche. “Haterz will say it’s photoshopped…hoping the new bachelor comes away with an Angel,” Murray captioned the image at the time he initially shared it. The ex-reality star also included the hashtags “#isthisnotfunny” and “#doesanyonehaveasenseofhumorin2019.” Murray and Dorfman called off their engagement four years ago. Shortly afterward, Dorfman described Murray as controlling and wrote about their tumultuous relationship in her bombshell memoir , “It’s Not Okay: Turning Heartbreak into Happily Never After,” which was published the following year. She labeled her romance with Murray the “most volatile and f-cked up relationship of my life” and said he never got over the fact that she slept with Nick Viall. “He was devastated, angry and hurt, badly,” she wrote, adding in this memoir: ‘That one sexual escapade would become a power play used by my fiancé to justify his mistrust in me. It would be an excuse to call me a whore. And it would eventually lead to the demise of my engagement.” The two broke up in January 2015. In an interview with People Magazine in 2016, Dorfman said of the relationship: “I was disgusted with myself for what I put up with. I was a strong, independent woman and I allowed [Josh] to be [emotionally abusive]. Now, I know I don’t want someone jealous or controlling. “I know what won’t make me happy in [the future].” Murray, for his part, went on to appear on Bachelor in Paradise (where he labeled Dorfman’s allegations as “fictional” and “ludicrous”) and eventually proposed to Amanda Stanton. Ranging on topics of everything from the Black stereotypes portrayed in horror films to the Black heroes in them today, actors and writers such as Keith David ( The Thing ), Tony Todd ( Candyman ), and Jordan Peele ( Get Out ) explain the evolution of the Black character in horror films. “Black films hold a mirror up to society,” Jordan Peele explains. “But at the same time give an audience an escape.” This helps explain why Jordan Peele has such a good grasp on how to make effective horror films like Get Out and Us . The parents named her Gianna Iman Walker . Luckett shared the good news along with an adorable photo on Instagram of her baby girl. “Gianna Iman Walker. Born || 1/ 4/19. 7 lbs 15 oz,” the new mom captioned the sweet snap on Saturday. The couple, who also have a joint Instagram account, shared the same photo on that profile with a personal message: “Thank you Lord for blessing us with this gift…Gianna Iman Walker.” Gianna is Luckett’s first child and Walker’s second.
