In a photo only slightly less surprising than ones of Prince Harry naked , the 86-year-old British royal family matriarch was photographed over the weekend wearing a hooded sweatshirt behind the wheel of her Range Rover. Straight chillin. Here’s the Queen in her hoddie … The morning shows, including Today , first ran the photo, which showed the Queen driving on her Scottish estate, Balmoral, after a grouse shoot. Last week, the Queen was reportedly joined at the family’s Scottish residence by her wild, scandal-stricken grandson, as well as his father Prince Charles. We would love to have been a fly on the wall then. Fun fact: Elizabeth is the only person in the U.K. who does not need a driver’s license to drive, which she rarely does anyway, at least in London. Royals … they’re just like us. Sort of a little.
On the list of unexpected celebrity news stories, Tom Hanks meeting a fan in a Fargo, N.D., diner, clowning around with him and posing for a series of pictures in which the guy pretended to be passed out drunk may be unparalleled. It’s also pretty much the most awesome. Yes, this appears to have happened to a real-life dude, who happens to use Reddit and obviously posted the Tom Hanks photos you see here on Reddit. A million people have viewed the images, with approximately 999,999 of them saying how cool it is that the Academy Award winner would do this. He Tweeted last week: “Back from Vacation. The Twilight Saga star opened up to People over the weekend at Heineken’s U.S. Open Player Party in New York City and said he’s grown “more mature when it comes to women and relationships.” Like any of us, he had a lot of learning to do. “I was in this one relationship where I told her things about myself that wasn’t really me,” Lutz says , possibly talking about ex AnnaLynne McCord. “I said I liked this certain band only because she liked them. Then she bought me tickets to their concert and I was stuck in going. It’s not fair to her and to me.” Lutz wants to be with somebody who loves him for who he truly is, a philosophy that has landed him in the arms of Australian actress Sharni Vinson , 29. They’ve been dating for about a year. “Sharni’s personality and mine very much complement each other, and we connect on every level,” Lutz said. “She has a big personality so we have great conversations and laugh so much. Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans has been through a lot lately, but hey, she can at least take solace in a nice new and improved pair of fake breasts. That appears to be what she’s conveying here, anyway. Unlike the Jenelle Evans nude before/after pics Kieffer Delp allegedly leaked, these aren’t rated NC-17, but are 100 percent Jenelle approved. Just look at that smile on her face. Yayyyyy boobs! It has been a turbulent week, even by Jenelle standards, but it doesn’t seem to be fazing her. She posted the pic writing, “Cute outfit today J.” If you don’t say so yourself. At the very least, that rack is a welcome distraction from J’s ongoing drama with Kieffer and/or Gary Head, or her mom Barbara saying she made a porno , or her sister Ashleigh calling her evil, or her random beef with Snooki , or her legal problems. Jef Holm says he has no idea why his brother would accuse Emily Maynard of cheating on him and insists , adamantly, that The Bachelorette couple is fine. Earlier this week, Us broke the “story” that Emily was sexting behind Jef’s back, and that their family vacation ended early and tumultuously as a result. The couple quickly denied the tabloid cover story, only to learn that the source of the report was Jef’s brother Mike Holm … who stood by it a second time. That has Jef in disbelief – and denying it all over again. “My family all says they are shocked, and obviously I’m shocked,” Jef says of Mike, who vacationed with the Holms, Maynard and her daughter last weekend. But, he adds, if everybody knew the history he had with our family, no one would be surprised.” An emotional Jef Holm and Emily Maynard slammed the story, again . “This whole story is 100 percent false ,” he reiterates. “I like to give Mike the benefit of the doubt and think he’s changed, but obviously he hasn’t. He has a history of doing hurtful things to the family,” says Jef. After the cheating reports first surfaced, “I called every single member of my family and asked them if they’d said anything, and he promised he hadn’t.” “He’s been cut off from a lot of family things because he’s so dishonest. It’s so disturbing to think that a family member would do this.” Even so, he adds, “as hurt as I am, I love him and I love my family.” If there were trouble in paradise, Jef’s putting on one heck of a good front. He’s been Tweeting up a storm about how much he loves Emily Maynard. Not only that, he’s been gushing about little Ricki, going to school with her and even meeting Emily’s late fiance’s parents, “the nicest people ever.” Safe to say the lovebirds are on steady ground and then some. It’s time to ruin prom for a whole new generation of teenagers! EW.com has posted an exclusive photo of a blood-soaked Chloe Moretz f rom Boys Don’t Cry director Kimberly Peirce’s remake of Carrie . Moretz gave me a serious case of deja vu when I saw the photo of her as the title character of Stephen King’s classic 1974 horror novel about an alienated teen with telekinetic powers and a seriously wacko mother. Sissy Spacek, who played the original Carrie White was fantastic in the role, but she was also in her mid 20s at the time. At 15, Moretz seems more age-appropriate to play the role of a high schooler. Julianne Moore plays Carrie’s mom in a role that Piper Laurie played in the original film.. EW reports that Moore intends for her portrayal to retain some humanity. “This woman has clearly had a psychotic break, perhaps several,” Moore tells the publication. “But what’s sad about it for me is that she’s clearly sick and here’s this poor child in the thrall of this person who is seriously ill.” Peirce is reportedly modernizing the story for her remake, which will be released in March 2013, so it’s unclear whether Moretz comes to be bathed in blood for the same reasons that Spacek did: a cruel high-school prank that results in Carrie unleashing her telekinetic powers and ensuring that there will be no one in her class left alive to sign her year book. The good news: she also destroyed the gym.
