STOOOPID: Federal Prosecutors Reportedly Have Several Photographs Linking Tekashi 6ix9ine To Multiple Robberies & Shootings

Source: @JustInMyView / R1 Digital Feds Reportedly Have Multiple Photo’s Linking Tekashi 6ix9ine To Multiple Robberies In Brooklyn According to TMZ , Federal prosecutors have shared several photos that appear to link Tekashi 6ix9ine to a series of armed robberies in Brooklyn. The images have been time stamped and seem to place the rapper at the scene of several robberies, shootings, and other violent crimes. Federal prosecutors reportedly filed the photo evidence in an attempt to prove to a judge that the rapper should be denied bail and should see him as a flight risk. Evidence including footage from an April 3rd armed robbery in Brooklyn which 6ix9ine actually filmed himself and later gave to a third party to post onto the Internet are in Fed possession. Also, there are photographs of 6ix9ine reportedly on the scene at a pair of shootings in Brooklyn on April 21st, as well as ones of him in possession of a backpack stolen during an armed robbery. In spite of the photographic evidence, Tekashi’s lawyer Lance Lazzaro maintains the artist’s innocence, saying “Daniel Hernandez is innocent and was never part of a criminal enterprise. He should never have been indicted.”

Ryan Edwards: CAUGHT Drinking Post-Rehab!

Here we go again. As you may have heard, Ryan Edwards left rehab last month after completing 90 days of in-patient treatment. Ryan had checked into a treatment center on one prior occasion, and he relapsed within days of returning home. There was reason to believe this time would be different — but now, it looks as though Ryan is not taking his recovery as seriously as he needs to. Take a look:   1. Dark Times It’s been less than two weeks Ryan left rehab after undergoing 90 days of treatment for an addiction to heroin. 2. Off the Wagon Now, it looks as though Ryan is no longer sober. 3. Back At It A fan posted this photo of Ryan and Mackenzie at a restaurant in North Carolina. 4. The Accusation The person who took the photo says Ryan was definitely drinking alcohol during dinner. 5. What’s the Problem? Ryan was not being treated for an alcohol addiction, but rehab counselors generally advise addicts to steer clear of all intoxicating substances. 6. A Repeating Pattern The last time Ryan left treatment, he was spotted drinking alcohol shortly thereafter. View Slideshow

WELP: Kevin Hart DROPPED From Oscars Hosting Gig After Refusing To Apologize For Old Homophobic Tweets

Source: Daniel Zuchnik/Getty Images / Getty Kevin Hart Ousted As Oscars Host Over Old Tweets Kevin Hart is OUT as host of the 91st Academy Awards ceremony because of his refusal to apologize for old tweets. The comedian seemed elated to have been confirmed as the host of the February 2019 ceremony earlier this week, but things got a bit shaky for him on Thursday afternoon when old tweets and jokes of him speaking negatively about homosexuality resurfaced: I wonder when Kevin Hart is gonna start deleting all his old tweets pic.twitter.com/ZbYG6SI3Xm — Benjamin Lee (@benfraserlee) December 5, 2018 Kevin scrambled to delete the tweets in question (this is only a handful of the offenders), but it appears the damage is done. The funnyman took to his Twitter and Instagram to talk about hoe little time he had for all the animosity coming his way over the old tasteless jokes… But Kevin CLEARLY saw all the negativity he claimed to have been dodging because he popped up a few hours later with THIS to say about all the “negative people” who seem to be so angry about his past (undeleted for some strange reason) tweets and old outlook on homosexuality: And when it came to the Academy, it seemed that Kevin drew the line at apologizing for his old offensive statements. Even though the tweets are brand new news to a large sector of the population that will be watching the Oscars next February, Kevin felt that he’s made all the apologies he’ll ever make for saying the things he has, so the committee can simply find another host if that’s how they feel: Still, Kevin came back and apologized later in the evening, stating that he had made the decision to step down (even though he previously said he had been dropped from the gig) so as not to be a distraction on the big night. I have made the choice to step down from hosting this year's Oscar's….this is because I do not want to be a distraction on a night that should be celebrated by so many amazing talented artists. I sincerely apologize to the LGBTQ community for my insensitive words from my past. — Kevin Hart (@KevinHart4real) December 7, 2018 I'm sorry that I hurt people.. I am evolving and want to continue to do so. My goal is to bring people together not tear us apart. Much love & appreciation to the Academy. I hope we can meet again. — Kevin Hart (@KevinHart4real) December 7, 2018 Sheesh. Well it seems like we won’t be getting Kevin as a host this year. Seeing as how he “re-apologized” later on anyway, do you think he simply should have apologized when the Academy first asked and held on to his position as host? Daniel Zuchnik/Getty Images

Meghan Markle: The Sussex-iest Pics of the Duchess EVER!!!

Earlier this year,  Meghan Markle married Prince Harry  in front of a massive international TV audience. Maybe you heard. The 37-year-old former actress is the envy of millions of women these days, but the road to royalty wasn't an easy one. She's spent most of her adult life paying her dues in Hollywood, a.k.a. taking on projects she'd probably prefer to forget. Fortunately for us, many of those acting and modeling gigs Markle took on to pay the bills yielded unforgettable images. Ones that make Harry the envy of millions as well. Not convinced? Check out the pics below for some of Meg's career highlights … before becoming a Duchess of course. 1. Meghan at Age 22 This photo of Meghan when she was a 22-year-old aspiring model has been making the rounds online lately. Obviously, she looked great then, but is it us, or has she only gotten hotter with age? 2. The Role Suits Her You probably already know that Meghan made a name for herself as an actress on the USA Network legal drama Suits. But if you never watched the show, you may not realize how risqué some of her scenes were. 3. Meghan as Rachel Meghan frequently delivered the corporate hotness playing a paralegal on the long-running series. Of course, the show sometimes followed her out of the boardroom, as well… 4. Showing Some Leg Yes, Suits frequently delved into Meghan’s character’s sex life. And for that, we are eternally grateful. 5. Topless Meg Meg occasionally stripped down for her role. The show was on basic cable, so she never went fully nude, but still … a lot more skin than we’re accustomed to seeing from royals. 6. Nude on Suits At one point, Meghan did strip down entirely. She was covered by a blanket, but she didn’t skimp on the side-nudity. View Slideshow

Queen P Makes Moves: The Beat Ya Feet Dancer Talks Keeping D.C. Go-Go Music Alive & Representing For Women In Dance

Source: Lincoln Landers / Lincoln Landers Go-go music is so prominent in Washington D.C. and its surrounding areas that it’s almost a part of the air. Whether booming out of car speakers or playing at family events, the percussive sound finds its way into the atmosphere, whether you’re an active listener or not. Go-go has roots in 1970s funk with iconic performers like  Chuck Brown  (considered “The Godfather of go-go”). However, as years went by, the genre started to evolve, the pace quickened, and soon, a new dance style emerged. “Beat ya feet” is a style that involves fluid footwork and energetic moves, and dancer  Porche  “ Queen P” Anthony   knows all about it.   Queen P started beating her feet in 1999, only one year after the style was created by  Marvin “Slush” Gross  in D.C.’s Barry Farm neighborhood. Since then, Queen P has delivered her moves in school hallways, neighborhood churches, and go-go venues throughout the D.C. and Maryland area. Go-go acts like  Backyard Band (BYB) ,  Critical Condition Band (CCB)  and  Raw Image  served as her soundtrack. “Raw Image came out with some serious heat,” Queen P said in a talk with  Global Grind . “When they had the song  ‘Shake It Out, ‘ it’s something about that record…I used to be in the house drilling myself with that.” Queen P hit the national stage in 2009 when she and her crew, the Beat Ya Feet Kings, made it to MTV’s  America’s Best Dance Crew . After a solid run on the show, Queen P continued to build beat ya feet culture by teaching the dance across the country. However, back home, the momentum started to die. Even though beat ya feet kept an underground following, the popularity for the dance started to dip. “Beat ya feet is like a cat,” Queen P said. “We keep getting these lives. It’ll die and then it’ll be alive again, and we’re running out of lives. I told dancers if we don’t capitalize on it this year, that’s it.” Now, at 32 years old, Queen P continues to spread the beat ya feet dance with workshops, videos, and merchandise. She even had a notable cameo in  Ciara ‘s music video for  “Dose.”   Check out our quick conversation with Queen P below where she describes working with Ciara, go-go culture, and being one of the few women in beat ya feet dance. So you told me you trained in different styles like modern dance, jazz, and hip hop. Then, you started beating your feet in middle school. Was there anything else that contributed to your style today? From ten years old and on is when I really started educating myself on entertainment and performance quality from watching music videos. So The Box (T.V. channel),  Video Soul , BET’s  Cita’s World.  When I would come back from school and do all my homework, I would just turn it on and get right to it. So like watching  Ginuwine ,  Usher , and I’m a huge supporter of  Missy Elliott. But I’ve always been more of a fan or supporter of the creatives behind the artist, so like the choreographers and the creative directors. I understood that the artist isn’t solely responsible for their songs. How did the Ciara music video come about?  My dance mentor is  Jamaica Craft  and she is Ciara’s creative director. She had been waiting on the right project to utilize my talent and it just so happened to be “Dose.” I honestly was shocked because my name was in the video and that never happens for a dancer…to get that type of shout out.   You’re representing for the ladies in beat ya feet. Do you feel like you have a specific experience being a woman in the culture? There was a point where I felt disrespected in the community of BYF. I’m a woman in a male-dominated movement and it’s not easy at all, especially when you’re just a natural-born leader. I got a lot of pushback within the team I danced for and from others around 2009, especially when myself and the kings were on  America’s Best Dance Crew. What’s the climate for women in the culture now? There were a lot of girls involved back in the late ’90s, but I believe at some point for girls, it wasn’t as popular. Right now, there are females who do the style, but they don’t want to identify with women. I grew up watching artists and dancers back in the day who wore loose fitting clothes and hats — tomboy swag I guess you can say — but they embraced their femininity. I am one in the same. There’s young ladies who I’ve trained in the style, but they just haven’t embraced it as much as I have over the years.   What’s your vision for beat ya feet in the future?  My desire is that it becomes as global and respected as the  Krump movement , and the rawness of the style doesn’t get tampered with or watered down. What about go-go culture as a whole?  Well if we continue to get support from the go-go community, they will see how important we are to keeping them in the ears of listeners as well. The dance movement is able to bridge the gap. Dancers are the new DJs. We break music as well. If we don’t move as a unit, I believe the dance will spread and get bigger, and in essence, leave the music behind. The more people we get familiarized with the go-go sound as dancers, then we’ll have the undivided attention of people in other areas, and they’ll take on a love for not just the dance, but the music as well.

Demi Lovato: Is She Really Being Fat-Shamed By Tabloids?!

It’s been five months since Demi Lovato suffered an overdose that nearly claimed her life. These days, Demi is out of rehab and focusing on her recovery, much to the delight of her family, friends, and devoted fans. She’s been keeping a low profile on social media, but she has posted a handful of pics, including the one above that shows Demi after a Brazilian jiu-jitsu session . Obviously, she looks happy and healthy, and of course, she’s been receiving a ton of support from fans. But surprisingly, Demi’s sister, Dallas Lovato, is claiming that the photo prompted a negative response to the tabloid media. She made the allegation in a video that was posted to Instagram last night: “Ya know what? Here’s another thing I’m just saying to all the f–king tabloids out there right now calling my sister fat, go f–k yourself because she’s the most beautiful, strong, amazing person that I’ve ever met in my entire life,” Dallas told the camera. “And everyone why are you making my sister’s body the topic of your conversation, go f–k yourself,” she continued. “I’m sorry my sister is beautiful, she’s alive and she’s conquering a lot of really hard s–t… I’m just saying.” It’s great that Dallas is so protective of her sister and everything, but we have to ask — are tabloids really saying that Demi is fat? Are there really legitimate media outlets body-shaming a young woman who recently got out of rehab? Maybe we’re naive but … it seems unlikely. Now, if Dallas were bashing random internet trolls, that we could understand. People can be brutal in comment boards, particularly when they’re protected by anonymity. We searched for any indication of a tabloid or gossip site bashing Demi’s appearance, and all we could find were articles about Dallas’ “clap-back.” We also scrolled through the comments on Demi’s latest photos and we saw nothing but positivity. Again, it’s totally possible that Dallas saw something online that angered her and simply couldn’t hold back. But by responding, she’s made a mountain out of a molehill and drawn the attention of the whole world (including Demi) to a negative comment that may or may not even exist. There’s a time not to feed the trolls, and this, without question, is that time. There are many theories regarding the optimal method of recovering from addiction, but all seem to concur that undue stress is something that addicts should avoid. In order for Demi to focus on the positive, she needs her family to do the same. View Slideshow: Demi Lovato: Stars Shower Her With Love After Overdose

Wite Feet: This Video Of Emilie Brooklyn Proves She Needs More Black Friends

Original post:

Source: Krista Long / Getty If you’re privy to the dance scene going on in New York that has also taken over social media (and made it’s way into White Folks’ home thanks to Ellen Degeneres ), then you’ve probably heard of Emilie Brooklyn . Emilie is very well known in the New York City dance community, specifically when it comes to the lite feet movement. The Copenhagen, Denmark native has danced for everyone from ASAP Ferg to Chris Brown — and with her large social media following plus half of uptown New York supporting her, it’s safe to say that Em is up next.   Don’t get us wrong, anyone with raw talent (who can Harlem shake better than some Harlemites) deserves all the clout and respect that Emilie receives. But as a White girl whose upbringing was the polar opposite of someone growing up in the projects of Brooklyn, some things just aren’t acceptable.  Like her birthday video to Jay-Z in front of Marcy houses.   Not only is the video tone deaf AF, but it poses the question: Are Black folks too welcoming? Are we giving away our culture for free? There are several things about the 16 second clip that would trigger any person of color that grew up in an impoverished community: The setting: Public Housing is not a tourist attraction or a prop. Oppressed people of color were placed STILL live there and some are trying to make it out. Starret City, the largest federally subsidized, was built specifically for low-income, government assisted Black folks in 1974. Now it’s called Spring Creek Towers and was sold to shareholders, including Donald Trump, for $905 million . The Timbs: We’re use to Wypipo jocking our style and calling it their own; i.e. the Kim Kardashian “Boxer Braids”. But we gotta draw the line some where, and Timberland Boots is a good place to start. In the late 80’s and early 90’s before White folks ever thought about making their way to Brooklyn, Timbs were a symbol of the urban NY culture. Legend has it that Drug Dealers made them popular in the 90’s when they wore them to hit the block. But just like most things in Black culture — white folks got a hold of them, then celebrities. Now we cringe every time we see an “Emilie” ditching her uggs for Timbs. The props: If a Black girl came to a predominately White, suburban neighborhood dancing in front of the property with her coat and backpack posted on the gate all willy nilly — the police would have been called before she could finish her harlem shake. The Tags: Really though, Emilie? You just gon’ tag every popular urban outlet thinking they’d praise you for finagaling in front of such a beloved area? Nah. The Dance: As Millennials, we let a lot of things slide when it comes to the arts. “If you’re good at something, why do we have to bring race into the mix?” But just as White folks benefit from their ancestors atrocities with White privilege, Black people bare the brunt of our ancestors pain and suffering with oppression and maltreatment. And just as Jamie Lee Lewis wrote on Instagram , “The Harlem Shake, Light Feet are not dance moves. For us this is culture, it’s how we survive and how we acknowlege that we survived.” By no means are we saying that Emilie Brooklyn can’t dance, cause shorty has moves! But just be more aware. Be more informed. And please, get more Black friends.
