S tacey Abrams has been running for governor of Georgia against Brian Kemp , who is also the secretary of state of Georgia, which means he oversees elections. Kemp was clearly afraid that his racist voter suppression tactics may not seal the deal for him, which is why his latest fear-mongering tactic was so laughable. He exploded on Twitter on Election Day eve that the New Black Panther Party was endorsing Abrams. The Black Panthers are a radical hate group with a racist and anti-Semitic agenda. They are dangerous and encourage violence against our men and women in uniform.” The original Black Panther Party, which was founded by Bobby Seale and the late Huey Newton , officially ended in 1982. In 1989 , a fringe organization called The New Black Panther Party began. It has been denounced by original Black Panthers and the even the NAACP. Kemp was clearly jumping on this “endorsement” from a group that has no political or social relevance in the Black community. On Monday night, it was announced that Idris Elba is the publication’s 2018 Sexiest Man Alive . On social media, the actor broke the great news to his fans. “Who’d have thought it! Thank you People & all the fans for naming me # SexiestManAlive . Don’t forget to grab your issue this week. I’m honored & thankful,” the award-winning actor wrote. But the 46-year-old also stressed what he believes is more important than this huge accomplishment. “But what’s even more important is your vote in the midterm elections. Your vote can make a difference! ” So what did the Thor actor think when he was told he was this year’s cover boy? According to him, total shock. “I was like, ‘Come on, no way. Really?’” Idria told PEOPLE, adding, “Looked in the mirror, I checked myself out. I was like, ‘Yeah, you are kind of sexy today.’ But to be honest, it was just a nice feeling. It was a nice surprise — an ego boost for sure.” It’s hard to imagine a time when Idris never felt as sexy a he looks, but he told the publication that growing up, he definitely had his ugly duckling phase. “I was very tall and skinny,” says the 6’3″ star. “And my name was Idrissa Akuna Elba, okay? I got picked on a little bit. But as soon as I could grow a mustache, I was the coolest kid on the block. The rapper and the model/dance enthusiast held a shower for their soon-to-be-bouncing baby, and revealed the gender of their upcoming collaboration. It’s a… Well, congrats to these two on the baby boy! We can’t help but notice that Future and Joie looked much cozier than co-parents in these pics though. We know he’s supposedly in a relationship with his other-other baby mama Brittni Mealy — even putting a ring (or two) on it on her Birthday back in August! However, after they were each so gung-ho about each other on social media over the summer, they’ve been suspiciously quiet with their displays of affection as of late. Now with the extra hugginess between Future and his ex-bae at the baby shower/gender reveal…we’re not entirely sure what’s what. Frankie Grande is Ariana’s brother, he’s also known for his polarizing role on Big Brother . Now, he’s opening up about his relationship with two men who are already married to each other. Together, the three of them are in a throuple — and Frankie explains that he is the newest addition. Frankie Grande is dating two men: Daniel Sinasohn and Mike Pophis. Daniel Sinasohn is a human rights attorney who has also worked as a model. Mike Pophis, who goes by Dr. Mike on Instagram, is a doctor of Internal Medicine. Frankie, Mike, and Daniel have been posting photos together on social media for a while now. Last weekend, as Bette Midler’s Hulaween soiree in New York City, Frankie made it clear that they’re in a relationship. Speaking to Us Weekly at the event, Frankie made things official. “These are my boyfriends,” Frankie announced. “[We’ve been dating for] almost three months,” Frankie shared. He then makes a joke about how transitory some same-sex relationships can be, saying: “but in the gay world, it’s like five years.” (That stereotype applies to men, while the opposite stereotype is projected onto women; both stereotypes are heavily debatable) Frankie also shared a little TMI about his relationship — but keep in mind, this was a Halloween party. When Frankie was asked about the best part of dating Daniel, he replied bluntly: “his d–k.” Congratulations are in order, we suppose. Daniel’s legal career is something that he’s tried to separate from his modeling, so we’re not sure if he appreciated Frankie’s bluntness. To be fair, Frankie also gushed that Daniel is “very smart.” “So is Mike,” Frankie added. “Mike is also very smart.” At Heidi Klum’s annual Halloween party presented by Svedka Vodka and Party City, Frankie added more details. This time, the details were safe-for-work. “I’m the new addition,” Frankie shared. Mike and Daniel are married, so that makes sense. When asked how their relationship works (such an awkward question for polyamorous folks), Frankie didn’t go into specifics. Frankie replied: “Let’s just say it does.” Frankie also issued a statement to Us Weekly . “Mike and Daniel are both extraordinary people and I think the world of them,” Frankie raved. “Each of them complete me in different ways,” he continued. “And I am honored to be in this very special, very fun relationship.” That is so sweet. Though Frankie can be a polarizing figure (mostly among Big Brother viewers), he deserves credit for using his platform to speak openly about polyamory. The more people discuss it, the sooner that it will gain wider acceptance. That could really make life easier for the polyamorous community. Polyamory is not for everyone — but neither is monogamy. Neither are relationships at all, for that matter. Some people fall in love with multiple people without falling out of love, and don’t want to break up or cheat. Others find that they can experience the benefits of romance with more cooperation and less emotional labor than they could with only one partner. And then some folks are just living their best lives and taking it one day at a time. We’d like to see more people feel comfortable and confident discussing their polyamorous relationships. Sutton Tennyson , the father of Angela Simmons’ 2 year-old son, was killed at his home this past weekend. According to TMZ, Sutton was speaking with another man in his driveway and the conversation ended in gunshots before the man left. Related: Angela Simmons Confirms Pregnancy With Baby Bump Photo She also shared a heartfelt video of their son, Sutton Jr., watching videos of him and his father. The two were engaged in early 2016. Angela later announced, in 2017, that the engagement was off. Sutton was 37. We send our condolences to the family.
