Jinger Duggar Ignores Trolls, Shares Special New Baby Pic

Jinger Duggar is here to stick it to the haters. Okay, maybe not. Maybe the beloved TLC star is just here to share a special photo of her daughter with followers. But we’d like to think she got a tad bit of pleasure from her latest posting as well. We say this because Jinger has come under a ridiculous barrage of ridicule of late due to a couple ways in which she has dressed her adorable little girl, Felicity. Earlier this week, Duggar published what appeared to be a very innocent snapshot of the infant, only to be hit with one comment after another from trolls who were aghast that Felicity was wearing mittens. “Those mitts are so stupid. They need to self-soothe and they can’t with those mitts… get them off,” some huge loser actualluy wrote , while another agreed and added as a remark: “Free the hands! Better for her development.” Nevermind, apparently, that the American Academy of Pediatrics, often recommend babies wear mittens in order to avoid scratching their face with their nails. Elsewhere, haters have given Felicity a hard time for typically including a headband or scarf on top of Felicity’s precious noggin. This is less a complaint based on anything health-related or emotion-related; folks simply think it’s a lame look. Consider the following Instagram following, for example: To her credit, however, Jinger has risen above it all. She has taken the high road. She hasn’t responded to any of these misguided and/or cruel remarks… she’s simply continued to dress her child however she sees fit. The latest case in point? This picture below, which Jinger shared in honor of Felicity turning two months old. We love that she included the headwear in it! “She’s all smiles these days,” Jeremy Vuolo recently told fans of how well Felicity has been doing, as he and Jinger simply can’t stop gushing over their kid. Not that we’re about to blame them. Not at all. Along with hearts and a baby emoji, Jinger wrote the following as a caption to this image: She’s 2 months already?! #timeflies #felicitynicolevuolo #2months2days . A handful of followers, meanwhile, took note of the timestamp on the photo and just had to give Jinger some props, with one individual writing: “You know you’re the mommy of a 2-month-old when it’s nearly 4:30 in the morning and you’re making Instagram posts.” This actually led to a response from Duggar: “You are exactly right.” HA! We love it. And we can just imagine millions of women around the world nodding in agreement right about now. Stated Jinger and Jeremy back in July, when their firstborn first entered their lives: “God is so kind!. Jinger gave birth to Felicity Nicole Vuolo this morning at 4:37 am.” And then they laid out her stats: “Felicity weighs 8lbs. and 3oz. and is 19.5 inches long. Both mom and baby are healthy, doing great, and resting well. “We are very thankful for her safe arrival and look forward to life as parents.” View Slideshow: Duggar Daughters’ Raciest Outfits Revealed: What Dress Code?!

Kanye West’s Criticism Of Twitter Could Lead CEO To Change Follower Feature

View original post here:

Sometimes Kanye West goes on rants and sounds like a complete loon – other times he does it and he actually makes a little since. I think I’m riding with this last one, check it out! Via | HotNewHipHop Kanye West shares a text message conversation with Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey. Earlier today,  Kanye West   shared his thoughts  on how society values follower counts and social media. “We should be able to participate in social media without having to show how many followers or likes we have,” he wrote on Twitter. “Just like how we can turn off the comments we should be able to turn off the display of followers. This has an intense negative impact on our self worth.”  While Kanye’s known for spewing out whatever is on his mind through social media, it looks like his latest idea may lead to some change on the social media platform. Nick Cannon Responds To Kanye West’s IG Rant Over Kimmy Comments – “You’re NOT Going To Tell Me What I Can And Can’t Say”

Nick Cannon Responds To Kanye West Like pretty much the rest of the world, Nick Cannon caught wind of Kanye’s “leave my wife alone” rant targeted at him, Drake, and even Tyson Beckford. But he didn’t waste much time leveling a response right back and Kanye. In his social media scolding, Kanye told Nick: First of all, I want to address Nick Cannon. I understand that you used to date my wife but you get an interview, don’t mention my wife. If someone brings my wife up, you say ‘I respect that man, I’m not speaking on that.’ Now, if you need a refresher on why Kanye felt compelled to call out Nick Cannon , it all stemmed from some roundabout statements he made on Everyday Struggle a few weeks back. At the 32:30 mark , the topic of Kanye squashing the Drake and Pusha T beef comes up and Akademiks suggests that Drake smashed Kim Kardashian, to which Nick responded: That’s not that far off of a concept! This is just as a fan, stepping back — there’s something real personal going on in that world…there’s something that Drake holds over that whole family, that he’s like “y’all don’t want me to let this out.” I won’t say that, but I was thinking the same sh*t. There’s something over there. After catching wind of Kanye’s instruction on how to speak (or not speak) on his wife and their relationship, Nick took to his own Instagram to address him back. He says that he doesn’t believe that he said anything disrespectful at all, but ultimately, Kanye nor anyone else is going to tell him what to say or how to answer questions when they’re asked: Furthermore, he shadily hints that Kanye could have called him directly, but since he didn’t he’ll address him publicly as well — and presents a standing offer to come settle his score on the Wild n’ Out stage for their 200th episode. Welp. Do you think Kanye will take him up on this offer? And are these two cool or nah? Getty/Instagram

Kanye West Lashes Out at Drake and Nick Cannon On Instagram for Discussing Kim Kardashian [VIDEO]

Kanye West goes off on Nick Cannon , Drake , and Tyson Beckford. There are videos on Kanye’s Instagram account where he does into detail about why he has problems with Drake, and Nick Cannon. He says Drake has been alluding to the rumors that he’s had sex with his wife, Kim Kardashian in his music and that doesn’t sit right with him. Nick Cannon who once dated Kim Kardashian came out in an interview earlier this week discussing his relationship with Kim and how she talked about her insecurities with her nose amongst other things. Kanye would just like these fools to keep his wife’s name out of their mouths at the end of the day. None of us think that, that is too much to ask.         [ione_media_gallery src=”https://hothiphopdetroit.com” id=”3858463″ overlay=”true”]     Follow @hiphopdetroit

Michael B. Jordan Is The New Face Of Coach Menswear

Paras Griffin/Getty Images for Essence Michael B. Jordan Is Now The Face Of Coach Menswear Talk about having a good year. Following the company’s success during Coach’s partnership with actress and singer Selena Gomez, the brand has just announced that  Michael B. Jordan  will be the new face of menswear. The Black Panther , Creed , and Fahrenheit 451  actor will not only represent the brand, but is also designing his very own capsule collection in the future. He is set to meet with creative director Stuart Vevers next month to begin brainstorming ideas for his own designs. Before designing some pieces of his own, though, Jordan is now appearing in advertising campaigns for the brand’s men’s ready-to-wear, accessories, and fragrances–beginning with the new spring 2019 season. “I liked what Stuart was doing so we decided to move forward with me being the face of the brand,” the 31-year-old told  WWD . When he was asked about his personal style, Michael said that he feels just as comfortable in a “very pristine” suit as he does in streetwear, but in the end, he spends more time thinking about the roles that he plays. “As an actor, I’m always putting on somebody else’s shoes and becoming someone else,” he explained. To go along with that, Jordan said that he keeps his stylist busy since he’s constantly gaining muscle mass and then slimming down thanks to roles like Creed . As for what we can expect from Jordan’s own designs, he’s not letting anything slip. When the actor was asked to name an athlete or fellow celebrity whose looks inspire him he responded, “There are a lot of people whose style I like, but I wouldn’t want to dress like them.” So it looks like we’ll just have to wait and see what his capsule collection entails once it hits stores. Congrats to MBJ on the big moves!

A Lil Positivity: J. Cole’s Dreamville Nonprofit Just Launched A Hurricane Florence Relief Fund

Photo by Tabatha Fireman/Getty Images J. Cole Starts Hurricane Relief Fund Following record-breaking rainfall, flooding rivers, and mass power outages wrought by Hurricane Florence–which made landfall in North Carolina last Friday, September 14– J. Cole  has just launched a storm relief fund through his nonprofit, Dreamville Foundation. The foundation is currently soliciting donations on its website and is set to target its relief efforts in Cole’s hometown of Fayetteville, N.C. Mandatory evacuations have impacted thousands of households, who were ordered along the Cape Fear River, which runs through the city and remains in major flood status, according to the National Weather Service. The  Fayetteville Observer  has reported that three deaths in the city’s surrounding Cumberland County may be attributed to Florence. “The Dreamville Foundation is looking to lend a helping hand to the community, children, and families affected by Hurricane Florence,” reads the announcement from the fund. “There will be hot food stations placed throughout the city, temporary housing options for families, and stocking of food pantries/shelters, as well as supporting other local non profits who help provide services for the people in Fayetteville.” The rapper is currently traveling through North America on his K.O.D. Tour. His first ever Dreamville Festival was scheduled to take place in his hometown of Raleigh, North Carolina earlier this month, but was cancelled due to safety concerns related to the storm. Before the event was forced to be cancelled, a portion of proceeds from the festival were intended to benefit Cole’s nonprofit. Those who want to contribute to the cause can donate to J. Cole’s Hurricane Florence relief fund on the Dreamville Foundation website, here .

Australian Athletes Wore Full-Body Blackface to Impersonate Williams Sisters

More:

(AP Photo/Crystal Chatham) An Australian Rules Football (AFL) club had to apologize after three of its players wore full-body blackface to impersonate Venus and Serena Williams, as well as a Kenyan-born AFL player, Aliir Aliir. The photos were taken last week during “Mad Monday,” a celebratory day that marks the end of the AFL season. According to the Huffington Post , the photos appeared on Facebook on Thursday, and received mixed reactions. Some were outraged and others defended the “costumes.” Some Australians still have no clue what is considered racist. This Mad Monday “costume” is clearly racist. And I'm a person who is fed up with today's over-the-top political correctness. pic.twitter.com/oWPR0WjeUx — Francis Gonzalez (@fgonzalez_) September 19, 2018 The players, who weren’t identified, play for the Penguin Football Club in Tasmania. The club told the Huffington Post in a written statement that officials weren’t aware players “intended to dress in this manner,” adding that the costumes were “unacceptable in this day and age.” As the Huffington Post reports, while the players have been disciplined and have apologized for the racist costumes, the Penguin Football Club also offered a defense of the players, saying their “actions were never intended to be racist in any way” and “all they meant to do was dress as one of their sporting idols.” While the term “black face” is highly used in the United States, racism knows no borders. According to the  Australian Broadcasting Corporation , there have been high-profile incidents of blackface in the country, but despite an increase in public shaming around the behavior, many Australians still haven’t learned their lesson. Amber Rose Says She’s Sick And Tired Of Folks Swiping Her Slut Swag For Profit While Bashing Her

FayesVision/WENN.com Amber Rose Calls Out Brands Jacking Her Style Amber Rose is fed up with folks hating on her “hoeness,” but for some reason loving it when it’s packaged differently with other faces attached. Amber says she’s noticed a lot of other brands and artists making taking ownership of negative labels cool outchea…however when she takes the word “ho” back from those who would weaponize it against her and flips it to point out patriarchy and slut-shaming, somehow it’s a problem for folks. She even mentions ‘Ye’s song “I Love It,” which outright says to a woman “you’re such a f*ckin hoe, I love it” and is a top stream most-watched Youtube video. This is not about the Artists and Talent in these videos. I am extremely frustrated. Every single year I put my blood, sweat and tears into my slutwalk. I did not create the SlutWalk movement. I did, however bring it to the forefront for this generation. People remind of this daily, through their deliberate attacks and evil comments. It becomes extremely frustrating when brands are “inspired” by the movement and curate my actual life story and use it as a marketing tool. The Amber Rose SlutWalk and SlutWalks all around the globe, do not receive the attention or support they deserve. I do interview after interview to bring more awareness about the equality issues we deal with as women and people….. Body shaming, Fat shaming, slut shaming and victim blaming. I take a lot of punches and a lot of scrutiny and I’m cool with that cuz I do it for the greater good. I also DON’T do it for the recognition AT ALL but God Damn Bruh smh. I remember a few years back I used to put #MILFIN and #MILF on all of my post to only see a music video about milfs that I was not invited to be in… cool. I get it, I was an Actual Stripper, I’m not worthy then I show up to the VMAs with my team with outfits that say slut and faggot etc and I go online and see huge brands take that and run with it and still no phone call. Two men made a song that said “you’re such a fucking hoe I love it” but if I refer to myself as a hoe, take back any derogatory label and turn it into a positive or be confident in my sexuality in anyway mufuckas need 30 showers and I’m literally the evilest person on earth yet everyone wants to take my fucking swag but look down on me? Shits annoying af But I’ll continue to be A trendsetter and help women – The Real Bad Guy Now, Amber knows good and damn well she was never going to get a phone call for Fergie’s “Milf Money” video when her ex-boyfriend’s wife was on set. But other than that, looking at the evidence here — especially the Deisel ad and the last commercial — we can completely see where she’s coming from on big companies jacking her “own what you are” style. However, we’re thinking Iris Bonner, painter and designer of “These Pink Lips,” who created the look in question is really the one who should be upset here. What do you think? Does Amber have a point? Getty/WENN
