Valentina Sampaio Named Victoria’s Secret’s First Transgender Model

Valentina Sampaio has reportedly made history. According to the 22-year old herself, assuming we’re interpreting her latest Instagram message correctly, Sampaio has been hired to appear in an upcoming Victoria’s Secret campaign. And what, exactly, would make this notable and, as mentioned above, historic? Sampaio would become the first openly transgender model to pose for the lingerie company, which has been trying to rebrand of late. The Brazilian beauty just shared the photo featured here of herself sitting in a bathrobe backstage at what she writes was a photo shoot for the company’s PINK line on Long Island, New York. “Backstage click @vspink #bastidores #new #vspink #campaign #representatividade #diversity #beauty #selfie #model #life #fashion #usa #vstorm #valentinasampaio #bomdia,” Sampaio wrote. It’s unclear whether she also set the record for hashtags with this caption. Sampaio also posted a selfie video on this same account, making the same general reference to her Victoria’s Secret hiring. “Never stop dreaming genteee #staytuned #bastidores #new #vspink #campaign #representatividade #diversity #beauty #selfie #life #fashion #usa #vstorm #valentinasampaio,” she wrote, later adding: “Life is amazing… Love more and hate less, hate is useless, just do not waste time with it!” In a statement to E! News, Sampaio’s manager Erio Zanon praised his client for creating history with this “amazing and groundbreaking” news. “She is super happy and proud to represent all her community,” he says. “She hopes this opportunity shall be another step to break barriers.” For the record: Neither Victoria’s Secret nor its parent company, L Brands, have yet commented this seemingly huge announcement. It’s worth noting, though, that Sampaio’s hiring would come just as the company looks to rebrand amid declining sales — and following controversial remarks that the group’s chief marketing officer made last year about the idea of including transgender and plus-size models in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show… … which has since been canceled . Assuming Sampaio really is now a Victoria’s Secret model, the reaction online has mostly been very positive. With a few exceptions, of course, as you might expect. “First transgender to shoot with Vs! This make me so happy!” Victoria’s Secret Angel and fellow Brazilian model Lais Ribiero Tweeted on Saturday. “Wow finally!” added fellow transgender star, LGBTQ+ activist and Orange Is the New Black alum Laverne Cox. In 2017, Sampaio also made fashion history by becoming the first transgender model to appear on the cover of a Vogue publication, specifically Vogue Paris. We’ll update this story when/if Victoria’s Secret itself makes a statement. But what do you think about this apparent major piece of news?

Bear Brown: Alaskan Bush People Star Gushes Over Hot Model Girlfriend

Get excited! The Season 10 premiere date for Alaskan Bush People is just days away! The looming premiere made this week a perfect time for Bear Brown to make a very exciting announcement. He has a gorgeous model girlfriend, and he’s excited to introduce her to the world. 31-year-old Bear Brown spoke to People about his girlfriend, Raiven Adams. “We met at my brother Noah’s wedding last year,” Bear reveals. Noah married his now wife, Rhain Alisha, in a small and beautiful ceremony last year. “Raiven was helping her mom, Kassy Michelle,” he shares. “Who was the photographer.” Bear continues: “Her mom has always had a passion for photography.” “And,” he adds. “Raiven helps her out with weddings and other photo shoots from time to time.” It sounds like, when the two of them met, sparks just flew. “We just agreed we both felt a connection,” Bear characterizes. That sounds wonderful! And then he starts getting into why he adores his girlfriend. He explains: “I would definitely say what I like most about Raiven would simply be Raiven herself,” “She is truly the full package,” Bear expresses. “She is like, beauty in every sense of the word,” Bear gushes about his stunning girlfriend. “Inside and out.” “And she is the most awesome and extreme woman I’ve ever met!” he adds. We all know how much Bear enjoys various extremes. Bear raves: “I adore her, honestly.” That is so sweet to hear. Raiven also spoke up, and shared what has made her so drawn to Bear. “The thing I like most about Bear is his ability to love unconditionally,” Raiven praises. Bear is definitely a sweet guy. “And,” she adds. “How he lives his life to ensure other people’s happiness.” That could almost be read as a dig against Billy, who seems to wield a lot of control over his adult children, but that might be overthinking things. So what have they been up to as a couple? “We’re enjoying summer on the mountain together,” Bear reveals. “And,” he continues excitedly. “Can’t wait to see what the future brings.” Gabe, Noah, Bam Bam, and even Matt have secured romantic happiness for themselves. It’s great that it’s Bear’s turn. “I’m the happiest I’ve ever been,” he confesses. Awww! As has been the case with other lady loves of the Brown boys, Raiven seems to have taken up a friendship with Bear’s youngest sister, Rain. Rain is, by all accounts, a deeply likeable person — she certainly comes across that way on social media. Combine that with the fact that one family living on 435 acres of rural Wshington land can be a little lonely, and she’s bound to be a popular gal. Raiven and Rain are in multiple photos together. It’s great that they’re hanging out and getting along well with each other. For now, Raiven and Bear are just dating. Ashley Martson Pens Bittersweet Farewell: Goodbye 90 Day Fiance!

Rampant cheating. Allegations of abuse. An allegation of spousal rape . Ashley Martson and Jay Smith’s marriage was a disaster. But though Ashley’s time on 90 Day Fiance may have brought her haters, it also brought her a lot of fans. As Happily Ever After? winds to a close, she’s bidding a bittersweet farewell to the show. It was a once in a lifetime experience. Ashley Martson took to Instagram to write a fond farewell to the experience of being a 90 Day Fiance star. “As the show is approaching the final episode,” Ashley writes. “I wanted to take time to say I appreciate all the support and love from the fans.” “I was given an opportunity that many wish for,” she acknowledges. “And I am grateful for that.” “I was given the chance to let the world take a sneak peak into my life,” Ashley affirms. “And even though it didn’t end how any one wanted or anticipated,” she says. “It’s not something I regret or would take back!” Now that she and Jay are finally, finally over, they won’t be appearing as a couple on future seasons. “I’m sure next season won’t disappoint,” Ashley predicts. “And,” she continues. “You will get the opportunity to meet new couples and follow their Journey!” “It’s time to step away from the show,” Ashley affirms. “And focus on whats important.” “I have been given so many amazing opportunities from this show,” Ashley acknowledges. “And,” she continues. “I will be forever thankful to @tlc and Sharp Productions.” “The amount of support I have received majorly outweighs the hate,” Ashley emphasizes. Trolls often speak loudest, so kindness needs to come from many people to outshine cruel words. “And,” she expresses. “I appreciate every message that you so kindly took time out of your day to write me.” “I have felt the true meaning of love and heartbreak and many other lessons while filming this show,” Ashley declares. Those are some painful lessons. She also admits: “I realized that there is a lot I need to work on with myself.” “I know through all this I have learned some valuable lessons,” Ashley states. “And,” Ashley continues, she has learned “that I am stronger then I thought I could ever be.” “I love you guys,” she gushes to her fans and followers. People have been supporting her on social media for months, through some of the worst moments of her life. That forms a powerful bond. “And,” Ashley concludes. “I am so thankful I was able to experience this with all of you!” Plenty of people have terrible marriages to absolute nightmare human beings. But Ashley brought millions of people along for the ride of her marriage to Jay. That meant that her humiliations were compounded when he repeatedly cheated on her, each time worse and less remorseful than the last. That also meant that Ashley had a massive network of supporters — many of whom were there for her even after she screwed up a time or two. Prior to her death she was responsible for founding the museum on the grounds of New St. Luke Baptist Church church in 2001, where her brother serves as pastor. Roberts-Joseph was a pillar in her community and the museum held artifacts of American history which displayed the pride, power, and pain of descendants of the Transatlantic Slave Trade. Gossip Girl Reboot: Actually Happening! On Something Called HBO Max!

XOXO? More like XOX… OH, YES! Horrible puns and forced segues aside, we now have confirmation that the previously-rumored Gossip Girl reboot is officially a go. It’s happening, Upper East Siders. It really is happening. A revamped version of this formerly beloved CW drama has been officially ordered and will air on HBO Max, the upcoming streaming service from WarnerMedia. The first season will be comprised of 10 episodes, each an hour long, and it will be written by Joshua Safran, an executive producer on the original series. Like The CW’s Gossip Girl, this new iteration will be based based on the book by Cecily von Ziegesar. Here is the HBO Max synopsis: Eight years after the original website went dark, a new generation of New York private school teens are introduced to the social surveillance of Gossip Girl. The prestige series will address just how much social media – and the landscape of New York itself – has changed in the intervening years. Gossip Girl ran for six seasons from 2007 through 2012 on The CW, airing an astounding 121 episodes and making quasi household names out of heretofore unknown actors and actresses. As far as we know, none of these original cast members will return for the new version. This shouldn’t come as a surprise, considering Blake Lively, Penn Badgley, Chace Crawford, Leighton Meester and Ed Westwick all seemed pretty happy to be done with the show when it finally ended seven years back. Each of these stars has moved on in his or her own way as well. Lively is married to Ryan Reynolds, comprising one half of what may be Hollywood’s most attractive couple. Badgley anchors the popular Netflix drama You. Meester starred on the recently-renewed ABC sitcom Single Parents. Crawford is probably looking for work. And Westwick has been accused of rape . “No one’s ever asked me,” Meester told E! News about a return to Gossip Girl earlier this year, adding several months back: “No one’s ever talked to me about it except for in interviews and I always say the same: I never say never, so I don’t know.” “No one’s sent me that information, it’s coming from you.” HBO Max is set to launch in the spring of 2020. The platform will be the exclusive home of Friends, Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Pretty Little Liars and more programs. New shows from Kaley Cuoco, Anna Kendrick and movies from Greg Berlanti and Reese Witherspoon will also live on the streaming service. Miley Cyrus Shares Jenelle Evans Post, Gets Dragged for Supporting a Dog Killer

Miley Cyrus is under scorching hot fire at the moment for seemingly showing support for one of the most reviled celebrities in all of America right now. But, we mean, she can’t really be a fan of Jenelle Evans… can she?!? We never would have believed so, but a number of social media users have pounced on a recent photo Cyrus shared on Instagram — or, rather, re shared on Instagram. As you can see below, the photo in question features Jenelle’s step-daughter, Maryssa, banging away on the drums, apparently to Miley’s most recent single, “Mother’s Daughter.” We know this due to the caption Evans included along with the original image. “@MileyCyrus #MothersDaughter,” the post simply read. “BY: Maryssa Eason.” Cyrus, it’s very safe to assume, passed this snapshot along solely because Maryssa was playing her single. She wasn’t actually saying anything about Evans as a person, mother or animal owner. But anything related to Jenelle is a sensitive topic these days, considering Evans and her husband, David Eason, just spent several weeks without their kids (including Maryssa) after authorities determined the kids were being raised in an unsafe environment. They reached this conclusion after Eason shot and killed his family’s dog . Naturally, Miley therefore sort of showing any kind of support whatsoever for Jenelle is being met with extreme criticism by her fans around the Internet. Wrote one followers: @MileyCyrus why did you post Jenelle Evans stepdaughter on your IG? Her husband killed there dog! She lost custody of their kids not long ago. Thought you had better class than that — posting a dog killer family. And another: Whyyyyy would @MileyCyrus ever repost Jenelle Evans on her story!!!!!! Hello!! Her psycho husband literally SHOT THEIR PUPPY RECENTLY. And another : @MileyCyrus Miley … what the hell? I thought you were an animal lover? Jenelle Evans has gone through multiple dogs in ten years and her husband, David Eason, MURDERED their puppy IN FRONT OF THE CHILDREN. WTF, Miley!!! Do better! On July 3, a North Carolina judge awarded Jenelle and David custody once again of 11-year old Maryssa and Jenelle’s youngest biological children, two-year old Ensley and five-year old Kaiser. Many observers were appalled enough by this development. But then the controversial couple confirmed that they had actually adopted two new dogs , despite Eason having literally murdered the one he owned previously. The new canines are two Anatolian Shepherds and they’ll be used to protect the family’s large farm. “They are one of the most unique types of dog I have ever seen and have the best temperament and disposition of any dog I have ever owned,” Eason said, adding: “They are a livestock guardian breed and do not mind eating and sleeping with all our animals on The Land!” You suck so much, dude. Amanda Ensing: Influencer Accuses Kylie Jenner of Copying Her, Gets Shut Down Hard!

If you follow Kylie Jenner on Instagram, then you are well aware that she is on yet another boujie vacay with her friends. And that her nude photoshoots from the trip have been getting all the attention. Some of that attention, however, has not been so gracious. After a week of Kylie posting the most seductive photos from her tropical trip to Turks and Caicos, an Instagram influencer whose name is Amanda Ensing was not a fan. Ensing quickly took to the comment section to drag on one of Kylie’s photos which showed her celebrating her new Kylie Skin collection. “Vacation Mode,” Jenner captioned the post, as seen below. The cute pic showed the reality star sitting on the ledge of a pool wearing nothing but a giant straw hat that covered her face. She used her hands and legs to cover up, of course, so the 21-year-old mom wasn’t completely exposed! While most followers commented uplifting and kind messages, saying how stunning she looked, Amanda decided to diss the young billionaire instead. Because haters gonna hate… “This photo looks awfully familiar,” Ensing stated in reference to her June 17th post. Below is Ensing’s pose… (which ok is pretty similar, even down to the anklet, but who cares?!) And while Kylie is usually one to ignore rude comments, because she has way more important things to do with her life, she couldn’t let that diss slide. “From the words of Kim K, ur not on my mood board but I did get my inspo off Pinterest,” she fired back. Shut. Down. Let’s all take a moment to slip this clapback safely into our pockets… that’s quality stuff right there. This isn’t the first time Kylie has felt the need to defend herself and set the record straight though. Earlier this summer Alex Rodriguez also came in hot with a stab at the businesswoman . “Kylie was talking about Instagram and her lipstick, and how rich she is,” the former MLB player said of Kylie at the 2019 Met Gala. Kylie, however, remembered their conversation much differently. “Umm no i didn’t,” the reality TV star fired back on Twitter. “We only spoke about Game of Thrones.” Rodriguez replied, obviously trying to fix things with the young Kardashian sister. “OMG that’s right @ KylieJenner.
