Floyd Mayweather Wants Nelly And His Throwback GF Ashanti To Testify In Lawsuit Against Shantel Jackson For Swiping Thousands From Him

Floyd Mayweather To Question Nelly And Ashanti In Lawsuit As you’re likely well aware, Floyd Mayweather has been at odds with Nelly since the rapper began living with his ex Shantel “Miss Jackson” almost immediately after she left him. And now he’s using the legal system to exact revenge on the rapper. If you’ll recall, back in 2014, Shantel Jackson filed her own lawsuit against Floyd, alleging frequent assault and battery in their abusive relationship. She also sued for defamation and invasion of privacy, as he publicly aired out her medical records complete with photos to expose her plastic surgeries and an alleged abortion. Floyd then countersued Shantel late last year , claiming that she had fraudulently used his credit cards for high-priced purchases and straight-up stole money from him — preying on the fact that he only had an 8th grade education and also not enough sense to check his bank statements. Now, according to The Blast , Mayweather is taking things two petty steps forward in his case. As of April 20th, he filed documents intending to depose Nelly…AND his ex-girlfriend Ashanti in the case for proof of Miss Jackson’s supposed scammer antics. It’s not clear what information he would feel Ashanti had for the case, since she’s been done with Nelly since 2010 . But most likely, he wants to open up Nelly and his ex to embarrassing questions whose answers would be public record. The deposition is currently set for January of next year. SMH. Getty

When Cardi B dropped her track “Be Careful” it was a moment. Like “Bodak Yellow,” girls could relate to the lyrics  and although the newer track covered a different topic, it evoked the strongest of emotions in Bardi Gang. Cardi has a way of hyping her fans. So, when little Cece (@ thececeshow ) impersonated girls getting in their feelings while rapping “Be Careful” it was accurate AF and deserving of the RP it eventually got from the Bronx, N.Y. rapper. Hit the flip to see more clips from the aspiring actress and comedic impersonator. Her Maxine Waters video is jokes.

Welp: J. Cole Says He Doesn’t Care If Couch-Surfing Critics Can’t Stomach His “Boring” Bars

(Photo by Jeff Kravitz/Getty Images for The Meadows) J. Cole Talks Critics, Family Life And Wife’s Reaction To Kevin Hart Scandal When J. Cole drops an album, like his recent KOD release , there is a great debate over the appeal of his supposedly mundane music between his critics and his stans. It’s almost to the point that his critics are actually doing most of his marketing for him by making fun of people who think he’s ethereal. Welp, J. Cole doesn’t care where you put him on the spectrum of ‘greats’. In a recent interview with Vulture , writer Paul Cantor gets Cole to be candid on the subject. He says editors literally showed little interest in having him on magazine covers because he was “boring” but f— them! Magazines told him he was too boring for their covers, interviewers Googled him five minutes before he walked in. “In 2012, it was infuriating, it was mad hurtful, it felt more like I was a victim,” he says. “Once I took control of my own sh*t, stopped giving power to other people for my happiness and success, it became like,  Oh word, I’ll show you how boring I am.  And it became another person to prove wrong.” Oh, and another thing, despite being written-off behind bigger artist, he has a no. 1 record, so his critics are ‘f-cking idiots’. If Cole comes off as earnest, it’s because he is. And he knows  you think he’s boring , knows SoundCloud rappers diss him every second, and that Kendrick Lamar and Drake are mentioned before him in most best-rapper conversations. Once upon time, maybe he cared. But he also knows this — with his new record,  K.O.D. , he’s got the No. 1 album in the country,  what’s projected  to be the best-selling record of the year so far, and most important to him, it’s resonating deeply with his fans. “Now it’s even clearer,” he says of his critics. “You’re a fucking idiot.” Welp! Cole also gushes about how happy of a papi and hubby he’s being. Hit the flip to read what he says about his family.

Double The Thirst: Clermont Twins Set Out Their Ying-Yang Cakes In Highsnobiety Spread

(Photo by Theo Wargo/Getty Images for Vivienne Hu) The Clermont Twins Take Highsnobiety Shannon and Shannade Clermont are really out here blossoming as a fashion brand. The Clermont twins have ditched the stench of reality TV, and are flourishing a micro-fashion moguls. The  just did a spread with Highsnobiety to showcase their provocative Gemini energy and talk about their new fast fashion label . They look good! Last year, the sisters launched their label all black clothing line “Mont Boudoir”. HS: What was the inspiration behind the collection? CT: Our brand is inspired from our time in the south. It’s a bit of country style mixed with a bit of riskiness that’s still wearable in New York City. We made our collection all black because it’s timeless. That’s what we strived to create: timeless pieces. Even the chaps and sheer dresses that may seem a bit revealing are able to be paired with more conservative pieces and still come across as elevated. We wanted each look to be a statement, the kind of pieces that are impossible to forget. More of the twins’ sexy photos for Highsnobiety after the flip.
