Dancing With the Stars Recap: Switch Up!

Monday marked the anticipated partner “switch up” night on Dancing with the Stars, plus the return of guest judge and former pro dancer Julianne Hough. The results? There were none, as co-host Erin Andrews told us last week’s scores will be combined with this week’s scores. Someone’s out next week. So, this one-week “switch up” will give the celebrities and pros a reprieve. It’s the second straight such respite, really, since Billy Dee Williams took himself out of the running a week ago. America’s most infamous on-again, off-again lovebirds are feuding again, and this report has nothing to do with the alleged Justin Bieber-Selena Gomez sex tape . At issue instead is her flirting with Orlando Bloom. Seriously. Both halves of Jelena are notoriously jealous when it comes to either one of them talking – let alone flirting – with other people. Such is the case here. Justin Bieber, 20, is said to be furious with Selena Gomez, 21, and her interactions with Orlando Bloom, calling her actions “a slap in the face.” What the Canadian pop brat’s girlfriend actually do wrong? Selena and Orlando recently participated in the We Day California conference on March 26, and were seen hamming it up in Instagram photos. Photos Justin was none too thrilled about, to say the least. The singer-actress gave an inspiring speech and later, backstage, posed with Orlando and Seth Rogen, who has been one of Justin’s biggest haters. The picture, posted to her Instagram account, infuriated Justin, who believed she was trying to rankle him, knowing Rogen’s disdain for Bieber’s antics. Lady Gaga and Bill Murray: Date Night in NYC?

Drake Bell may think Lady Gaga is “repulsive,” but the singer still has some very high-profile fans. Lady Gaga and Bill Murray on David Letterman Bill Murray, for example, wasn’t a scheduled guest on last night’s Late Show with David Letterman, but that didn’t stop the legendary comic from showing up, crossing a few items off his bucket list, and getting friendly with the Mother Monster. Okay, so Murray and Gaga’s time together may not have been a “date,” exactly, but the two enjoyed each other’s company on Letterman so much that while they were still filming, the 28-year-old singer asked the 63-year-old actor to escort her to her show at NYC’s Roseland Ballroom just across the street. No word yet on whether Gaga made good on her promise to “sing some songs” directly  to Murray and Letterman during her concert. As for Bill’s bucket list he managed to cross off both “meet Ms. Gaga” and “take a selfie” over the course of the night, so it’s safe to say he can chalk the evening up as the latest in a lifetime of epic wins. As for Gaga, we’re sure Gaga still likes being submissive to Taylor Kinney when she’s at home, but she certainly seemed to enjoy the adoring attention of a couple aging icons last night. Gaga is currently performing a series of show’s at New York’s famous Roseland Ballroom. They will be the final events held at the venue which is scheduled to close in April.  28 WTF? The 18-year old was recently photographed in cornrows by Marie Claire, which proceeded to Tweet the following picture of the reality star and include with it a caption that describes the look at “epic” and “bold.” Of course, donning cornrows is neither epic nor bold for many in the African-American community… and they let the magazine hear it via Twitter soon after the image went viral. “Why don’t you go to an elementary school with black girls & tell me once again how Kendall Jenner started cornrows as a trend?,” wrote one user, while another added: “Bold. For the second time in a week, Taylor Swift has dedicated a chunk of her time to hospitalized cancer patients. Just days after a spokesperson for New York’s Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center confirmed that Swift engaged in one of the longest celebrities visit on record, the singer did the very same thing at Hasbro Children’s Hospital in Providence. Accompanied by her father, Swift hung around for five hours, meeting one-on-one with kids and playing a song on her guitar for those in the psychiatric unit. Pharrell Williams: The Voice Coach For Season 7!

Pharrell Williams has been tapped as a coach for The Voice Season 7 on NBC, the network announced with an appropriately #happy Tweet today. NBC posted: “Okay, we can OFFICIALLY say it! WE ARE SO #HAPPY to announce PHARRELL WILLIAMS = #NewVoiceCoach for SEASON 7.” Pharrell added, “This is going to be so fun.” Adam Levine, who has been a coach on all six seasons thus far, replied “Welcome to the circus dude!” NBC boss Paul Telegdy added that “he has already made a considerable impact as a mentor, drawing on an impressive track record as both a producer and performer.” “It is a perfect fit for The Voice as we evolve and reach for new heights with this franchise. It feels like we are welcoming an existing family member home.” Executive producer Mark Burnett also chimed in on the hit show’s latest hire , writing, “I am thrilled to have Pharrell come back to The Voice family.” “This time, as a coach. Continuing in The Voice tradition of having the biggest and most current music stars as coaches, Pharrell fits perfectly.” Pharrell served as Usher’s guest mentor back in Season 4, but will likely fill in full-time for Cee Lo Green, who will not return to the show next season. The Voice’s seventh season will debut in the fall, while the sixth season is currently underway, with coaches Levine, Blake Shelton, Shakira and Usher. Kaley Cuoco got married recently and it seems the Big Bang Theory actress’ walk down the aisle has inspired her to make some changes in other areas of her life as well. Or pretend to, anyway. Kaley recently revealed a new tattoo and has been receiving more attention than ever from the tabloids lately, attention she decided to exploit over the weekend by pranking fans and haters alike. Kaley posted the above photo to Instagram hours before the Kids Choice Awards and teased that she was planning a dramatically shorter haircut for the show. Later she posted another photo featuring a set of shears with the caption, “I can’t stop!” Naturally were expecting a dramatically different ‘do for Kaley. Turns out the whole thing is her idea of a prank. And she almost got away with it… Kaley rocked a messy bun for the awards show that looked like a short bob at first glance. Closer inspection revealed that Kaley’s long locks remained intact. Um…good one, we guess. Chalk it up to the latest in a long line of unusual behavior for Kaley.
