Earlier today, we learned the exciting news that Joy-Anna Duggar is pregnant . Joy-Anna married Austin Forsyth in May, which means the couple is moving fast even by the standards of a family that’s mostly famous for breeding. In her official announcement, Joy-Anna didn’t offer any information about how far along she is, but of course, that won’t stop fans from wildly speculating about her due date. People magazine published the above photo of Joy-Anna on their website today, and many have commented that she looks like she’s several months along. Joy-Anna had better get used to the scrutiny, because for reasons that aren’t entirely clear, fans are downright obsessed with what goes on in her uterus. Prior to her wedding, rumors that Joy-Anna was pregnant before marriage cropped up regularly on social media. At this point, we think it’s safe to say no pre-marital hand-holding took place, but if you’re familiar with the Duggar courtship rules , you know what a scandal an out-of-wedlock child would have been. Joy-Anna and Austin honeymooned in Switzerland, and the consensus among fans seems to be that Joy-Anna got pregnant during the trip and is now roughly three months along. As is so often the case with this sort of thing, the Duggars are remaining tight-lipped about the due date. But that doesn’t mean Joy-Anna and Austin aren’t talking to the press at all. The parents-to-be have issued several statements about how happy they are to have a child on the way. They’re just not offering up any info about when the baby might be arriving. “Before we even were married we were praying that God would give us kids and we’re so thankful that he has,” Joy said today. Austin echoed the sentiment, adding: “We’re so happy to announce that we’re pregnant. When we found out we were pregnant we were both extremely happy and felt blessed.” Yes, these two certainly aren’t giving away any clues. Many fans have pointed out that Duggar women typically share pregnancy news at the end of their first trimester, which would mean Joy-Anna is likely due in February. When you consider all the drama that’s surrounded the Duggar family in recent years, it’s more than a little surprising that something as seemingly prosaic as Jinger Duggar’s wardrobe would be favorite topic of discussion for so many fans. But for many who have watched her grow from a young tomboy to a happily married woman, Jinger’s clothing conveys so much more than simply her taste in fashion. Many were surprised when a photo of Jinger wearing pants surfaced on social media, as like her sisters, Jinger was forced to abide by a strict dress code while she was living under her parents’ roof. In the Duggar household, women are forbidden to wear pants, and instead must sport floor-length skirts at all times, even when engaged in sports or other physical activities. “We do not dress modestly because we are ashamed of the body God has given us; quite the contrary,” the Duggar girls wrote in their 2014 memoir, Growing Up Duggar . “We realize that our body is a special gift from God and that He intends for it to be shared only with our future husband… We avoid low-cut, cleavage-showing, gaping, or bare-shouldered tops; and when needed, we wear an undershirt.” They added: “We try to make it a habit to always cover the top of our shirt with our hand when we bend over. We don’t want to play the peekaboo game with our neckline.” When pressed on the matter, the family would always explain that the girls consented to the dress code, having adopted their parents’ views on the importance of modest attire. Despite that explanation, Jinger defiantly bucked that trend when she married Jeremy Vuolo . Once Duggar women are married, it’s their husbands, not their fathers who make most of the decisions about their lifestyle. (Yes, people still live this way in 2017.) Jeremy doesn’t share Jim Bob’s conservative views on women’s fashion, and as a result, Jinger can wear pretty much whatever she wants. We’ve already seen Jinger wear shorts , heels, tight pants … and now, she’s moving on to exposed arms. Yes, she might be conservatively dressed by most people’s standards, but for a Duggar, this look is downright risque. For the most part, fans have been supportive of Jinger’s bold decision to wear a freakin’ t-shirt, but there are those who find the situation to ridiculous to applaud. “Now she started to wear pants and dresses that leave arms uncovered,” one follower wrote on Instagram. “At 23 years old. Because her husband’s told her she can do it. In 2017. Ok.” We share the sentiment, but it’s important to remember that Jinger didn’t create her family’s bizarre code of conduct–and tossing it aside constitutes a laudable act of bravery. Every time a new round of explicit photos stolen from a celebrity’s private collection goes public, there’s a renewed outcry to tighten security and ramp up enforcement of existing laws. Unfortunately, most of the time, the perpetrators go unpunished, and it’s typically not long before a new round of celebrity nudes goes public. The latest victim is Justin Bieber, and in a bizarre twist, the singer’s ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez was also victimized by the hackers. According to TMZ, several nude photos of Bieber appeared on Gomez’s Instagram page Monday afternoon. The site reports that the hackers captioned the photo with lewd comments about Bieber and boasts about their hacking abilities. “LOOK AT THIS N-GGA LIL SHRIMPY,” they wrote, before encouraging users to follow three Instagram accounts, each of which only has a handful of posts, but several thousand followers. “We run da scene,” they concluded. The hackers Instagram accounts have been suspended, and their handles are being kept from public view pending an investigation. Gomez quickly deactivated her account after the hack. She is now back on Instagram, and has not yet publicly commented on the incident. Bieber has also not yet commented on the situation, and it’s possible that both singers will simply refuse to acknowledge the hackers, as they seem to be seeking notoriety. This is not the first time that Bieber has been hacked , and sadly, it looks as though it may not be the last. There are those who have argued that like obnoxious paparazzi and over-zealous fans, a lack of digital privacy is just a reality of life as a celebrity in the 21st century. The problem with that argument, of course, is that sharing someone’s nude photos without their consent constitutes a sex crime, and a world where famous people are forced to accept being victimized by sexual predators, is surely one that none of us wants to live in. We don’t pretend to have the answer to the growing problem, but we’re certain that a complacent shrug is not the solution. This time, the photos were removed quickly, but both Justin and Selena have no doubt been left with lingering feelings of vulnerability. Past victims of photo hacking have described feelings of anxiety so intense they were unable to leave their homes. Both celebrities and non-famous folks who have been victims of hacks are acutely aware of a reality that most of us do are best to ignore at 2017: Each of us is more exposed than ever before, and few among of us have any real sense of what it takes to keep out personal data safe. Beyonce really did give birth to twins a couple months ago. It wasn’t a rumor. There’s no conspiracy here. We even know their names: Sir and Rumi Carter . However, you’d be forgiven if you doubted Beyonce really did squeeze not one but TWO kids out of her womb in June, considering the photos that have surfaced of her since. In snapshot she shared two weeks ago, for instance, the artist is rocking a crop top and showing off a stomach that is already back to being svelte. On Monday night, meanwhile, Beyonce attended sister Solange’s Saint Heron: Wine and Grind party at MASHstudios in Los Angeles. And she got herself fully dressed up for the occasion, rocking the tight, short dress in which she’s pictured above and below. The global superstar didn’t post a caption with these photos on her official website because that’s just not how she ever rolls. But not very much really needs to be said, does it? Can you believe this woman is only a very recent mother of twins?!? Jay Z and Beyonce welcomed their latest kids on June 15. We’ve heard that the stars aren’t getting much sleep these days as a result, but that’s to be expected. And this is what a source tells People Magazine for its latest issue: “Beyonce has been very busy with the newborns, but she’s also been able to relax a bit. It’s helped her that Blue has been such an amazing big sister.” As is the case with many parents who already have a child upon introducing another one or two kids into the household, Bey and Jay made a point to spend a lot of “quality time” with Blue before she became a sibling. They want to make sure she never feels jealous or insecure. However: “There was no need to worry because Blue is great,” says this source. “She takes her job as a big sister very seriously and helps out a lot.” That’s so great to hear! Neither Beyonce nor Jay Z have said much in public over the past several months. They are holed up in a rented Malibu mansion and trying to enjoy this newly-expanded family. As for their oldest daughter? Blue is excited about starting kindergarten,” writes People, adding: “She misses her friends. It will be fun for her to get back to her own life at school. Last week, Kailyn Lowry welcomed her third child . No doubt many of the sensations and experiences of the past few days are familiar to her, having given birth to two older baby boys in the past. But this time, there’s one major difference, as Kailyn brought her third boy into the world as a single mom. Late last year, Kailyn got pregnant by Chris Lopez during a brief fling that quickly fizzled out. We don’t know much about Lopez, and it seems he’d like to keep it that way. After she gave birth, sources close Kailyn stated that Lopez will not be involved in his son’s life. Teen Mom 2 insiders say Lopez has made it clear that he has no interest in appearing on the show that made Lowry famous. Indeed, it seems that while he reportedly has every intention financial obligations, Lopez will play little to no part in the lives of Lowry and her son. Nevertheless, Kailyn remains optimistic. “Every child deserves their dad,” Lowry recently told Radar Online. “I’m hopeful. I’m positive he’ll be around.” Kailyn concedes that Chris is not exactly diving head-first into the role of new dad, but she says he’s off to a good start in terms of providing support and showing an interest in his son. “I think he has been as supportive as he can,” the mother-of-two said. “He does the best to his ability even though it doesn’t necessarily meet the standards of what everyone else expects of him. I think people need to keep that in mind.” She points to the fact that Lopez was present in the delivery room and drove her home from the hospital as evidence of his commitment to being a dad. Sounds to us like Kailyn is setting the bar pretty low, but hey – as long as she’s happy … Lowry says she was “always hoping” that Lopez would be present in the delivery room, but she admits there was a time when it seemed unlikely. “But just based on how our relationship has been there was always a question whether he would have his phone on him or would he be at work,” she said. “I’m so glad that he came.” Friends and family have expressed concerns about Lopez in the past, stating that Kailyn offered “a relationship of convenience” to Lopez, and he quickly cut ties when it became clear she was interested in more than a commitment-free fling. We’ve done a terrible disservice, to Peter Kraus but also to his fans. Sure, we’ve spoken plenty about how he should absolutely be the next Bachelor . We’ve talked about how charming and sincere here is. What we haven’t done, however, is give sufficient time and attention to Peter Kraus’ abs. And that’s on us. We’ve mentioned that a major asset of Peter Kraus’ that made him such a stronger contender on The Bachelorette and that should make him such an obvious choice for The Bachelor is that he’s handsome. Photos of him speak for themselves in that regard, but what if someone with impaired vision has their computer read them posts on Peter Kraus? They deserve to know . But his soulful eyes and powerful jawline and winnin, gap-toothed smile don’t tell the whole story. For the whole story, you need to see this man in all of his glory. This is a guy who did modeling before he became a fitness trainer, and it shows. We included this photo when we wrote about Rachel Lindsay claiming that Peter Kraus is manipulative , but we didn’t talk about it. This photo: We included it in the post like it’s just a selfie that he snapped at brunch or whatever. We didn’t give it any time or attention. That’s basically a crime. He shared that inescapable thirst trap on Friday. It’s the kind of pic that might kill you — but it’ll also bring you back to life. And while we’re talking about Peter Kraus photos, well … there’s this: This photo has abs and thighs, giving fans and followers a jaw-dropping double-dose. The pic is also very reminiscent (though probably by accident) of a particular screencap from The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt that PC Gamer’s Twitter account uses every single time that they write about The Witcher . They do this to troll insecure followers who didn’t like the particular photo of Geralt in a bathtub. It’s hard to imagine this photo of Peter Kraus eliciting any complaints, though. He should just do commercials where he’s posed like that and selling a product. Any product, really. Watch the sales go up. Any viewer would be thoroughly entranced. And here’s one that we included on our list of reasons that Peter Kraus should absolutely be the next Bachelor. It’s almost enough to make you wonder why we bothered having anything else on the list. Obviously, as we’ve mentioned, Peter has a lot more going for him than his shockingly chiseled body or his dazzling good looks. And those will be major assets for him, wherever his career takes him next. (Hopefully he’ll play the lead on The Bachelor , though he hasn’t yet said if he’d agree to be the Bachelor ) Personality matters when you’re choosing someone with whom you might potentially spend the entire rest of your life, so it’s a huge deal on a show like The Bachelorette . Paola Mayfield has lashed out at critics pretty fearlessly, but when it comes to worries that she’s going to disappoint Russ, she’s a nervous (gorgeous) wreck. Because she’s in lingerie for a modeling job, and even though she’s going through with it because she’s a professional, she knows that her conservative husband doesn’t like it when she shows skin outside of the bedroom. This 90 Day Fiance couple may be in some serious trouble. … Paola and Russ Mayfield are somewhere in the middle, as far as 90 Day Fiance couples and the quality of their relationships are concerned. They’re doing way better than the now split Danielle Mullins and Mohamed Jbali . And also way better than the definitely-should-split Jorge Nava and Anfisa Arkhipchenko . But they’re not as close and cuddly as the picture-perfect, totally amicable Alan Cox and Kirlyam, who are expecting a child soon. As we’ve mentioned, the primary source of conflict between Paola and Russ isn’t cheating or money; it’s Paola’s job. Paola is a fitness model and now a certified personal trainer. Russ isn’t very comfortable with how she dresses … or how little she dresses … for work. (Even though he married a model and you’d think that he’d have understood that from day one) The issue this time is that Russ has been insistent very recently on 90 Day Fiance that Paola shouldn’t wear lingerie outside of the bedroom. We’ll get into that in a moment. On an upcoming episode of 90 Day Fiance , Paola has booked a gig where she’s a model in a music video. But Paola is going against Russ’ wishes . Because she’s wearing lingerie. She looks incredible, of course. ( So great that in a couple of shots, they decided to blur out her body) But she’s a nervous wreck because, while Russ wants her to find work, he doesn’t want Paola wearing lingerie on camera. (Though she is in a bedroom, we’d like to point out) Paola gets so worked up about upsetting Russ with her outfit that she throws up, twice. That’s hard to imagine for some folks — different people’s stomachs are more or less nervous than others. (Personally, I haven’t thrown up since January 2004, and I plan to keep it that way) But it shows how much she cares about his feelings and wants to make him happy. Russ issuing edicts about what he is and isn’t okay with Paola wearing, including for work, doesn’t sit well with us at all. First of all, my guy, sometimes (as in this case) that is literally part of her job. Second of all, she is your wife — not your property. She’s a professional, and that means wearing what she needs to on set and not either losing a gig or ruining a music video by insisting that things go her way. Good for Paola. Paola does confess her anxieties to the director. “I’m freaking out,” she says at one point. “My husband is a really conservative guy and for him, he doesn’t know I’m wearing lingerie.” We wonder how often directors hear that kind of thing. “He’s going to freak out. He’s going to kill me. I feel like I want to throw up.” We don’t think that Paola means that she actually fears for her life or safety. It’s worth noting that Paola and Russ are, last that we checked, still together. Reality show footage is always a little behind the times, so this issue is hopefully something that the couple has already worked out. We’ll just have to keep watching 90 Day Fiance to find out exactly how they work it out. Hopefully their solution will involve Russ putting on his big-boy pants and realizing that Paola can dress for work however she needs to. Whether it’s his ego or his Oklahoma values or whatever that’s getting him all worked up about Paola wearing lingerie for modeling, he needs to get used to it and be supportive of her career. Paola’s stomach shouldn’t be in knots while she’s at a shoot. She needs to focus on her work while she’s at work, not worry if it’s going to end her marriage. When you look at this situation, you can’t help but feel for Paola.
