Game of Thrones Season 8 Premiere SHATTERS Ratings Records!

After a wait that felt as long as winter north of the Wall, Game of Thrones returned for its final season on Sunday night. And if you spent the evening cringing when Jon made out with his aunt, or cheering when Bran stared daggers into Jaime’s soul, you certainly had plenty of company. The numbers for the premiere of Game of Thrones Season 8 are in — and they are staggering. Across all platforms (HBO, HBO GO and HBO NOW), a whopping 17.4 million people tuned in on Sunday night. And that number is certain to grow as more viewers return to Winterfell in the days to come. It’s officially GoT’s biggest episode to date, edging out the Season 7 finale , which drew in a then-unbelievable 16.9 million viewers. What may be even more surprising than the multi-platform numbers is the fact that more than 11 million people watched the premiere the old-fashioned way — by sitting down in front of the TV and turning on HBO. That’s the sort of event viewing that rarely happens anymore — and it’s what every network exec prays to the Seven Gods for. It’s also just one of many ways in which Thrones is a throwback juggernaut in the ratings department. These days, even popular shows tend to limp along and lose viewers as they reach the seven or eight season mark. But not Game of Thrones . GoT ratings have been climbing steadily since the very start, beginning with a comparatively paltry 9.3 million in Season 1 and swelling to a whopping 32.8 million for Season 7. (Those figures incorporate delayed viewing, on-demand, and streaming figures.) For comparison, huge network hits like This Is Us and The Big Bang Theory very rarely crack 20 million live viewers — and GoT is putting up similar numbers on a subscription service. In terms of the response from viewers, the premiere was met with overwhelming acclaim. Though there were a few holdouts who seemed to expect more after such a lengthy absence (The Game of Thrones Season 7 finale aired way back in August of 2017.), and felt that the installment had the feeling of a “place-setting” episode that was more concerned with setting the stage for things to come than with delivering an explosive hour of television. And to that we say, [SPOILER ALERT] only Game of Thrones could deliver dragons, zombies, revelations of incest, characters reuniting after seven seasons, and other major characters crossing paths for the very first time — and still have viewers demanding more. On Monday, SportsGossip.com claims James Harden and Jordyn Woods hooked up the same day she allegedly hooked up with Tristan Thompson. Reporting, “at the time, Harden and Jordyn Woods were not following each other, and now, mysteriously they are.” Personally I don’t think this validates that the pair hooked up or are dating, but it definitely adds fuel to the Khloe versus Jordyn Woods fire. Howard Stern SLAMS Wendy Williams: You’re Just a Jealous B-tch!

It’s been a difficult year for Wendy Williams. But as is always the case with the daytime Queen of Mean, it can be difficult to sympathize with Wendy as she repeatedly makes things harder on herself. Back in January, Williams was hospitalized for a variety of health issues that kept her from her eponymous talk show for nearly two months. Though she’s made many, many enemies over the years, fans and rivals alike reached out to wish Wendy well during that difficult time. Of course, now that she’s back to work, she’s making up for lost time and reminding those rivals why they hated her in the first place. You want hot takes? Oh, Wendy’s got ’em. And she’s not just playing it safe by going after low-hanging fruit, either. No, Wendy is attacking the likes of Howard Stern — you know, the guy who single-handedly created the media landscape in which people like Wendy made their careers, and who’s still highly regarded for his razor-sharp and masterful trash-talking? What could go wrong? “Howard is so Hollywood right now. And Howard, I love you, but since you’ve gone Hollywood, everything you say is so predictable,” Williams said on her show this week. “Every story is going to be about, ‘Oh, I love this one, and then we went on their yacht.’ He’s a Hollywood insider, which sucks.” Williams went on to reveal that she feels personally betrayed by Stern’s transformation from fringe shock jock to mainstream media figure. “You started like me, being of the people. But at some point you sat behind the microphone for too long and now you are the people,” Williams went on, adding: “It hurts.” She’s not entirely wrong, but the problem is, criticizing Howard Stern is like releasing an Eminem diss track. Sure, the target of your derision may have mellowed in recent years, but you have to know he’s still capable of delivering the heat when he’s challenged. Stern didn’t disappoint and was quick to clap back at Wendy in brutal fashion: “Jealous bitch.… You are nobody to me,” Stern said during his Sirius XM radio show. “You’ll never be me, Wendy. You’ll never be me. You can pretend to be me, you can pretend to be like me, but you’re not,” he continued. “You don’t have my wit and you don’t have my talent. … You couldn’t have that career. You’re a fly.” We think it’s safe to call this round in favor of Stern, but we’re really hoping Williams fires back. Modern-Day Jesus With "Strong Sperm" Travels Country Impregnating Women

A man is being praised as a “modern-day Jesus” for performing one service, free of charge, for those who want it. He is donating his “strong sperm” to help women across the country get pregnant. And he wants to make his act international. The man reveals that he has a special recipe to keep his sperm high-quality and 100% organic. About five years ago, L.A. native Kyle Gordy advertised on Craigslist that he was willing to donate sperm to help someone become pregnant. Within two weeks, a woman accepted, and became pregnant via in vitro fertilization. “I was going to apply to a sperm bank, but the whole thing just felt so cold and clinical,” Kyle tells Caters News . “My sperm is much better than what is in a sperm bank,” he claims. Kyle explains: “as it’s strong and fresh during the donation, while I also do it all for free.” He says that he asks those receiving his “donations” to cover his travel, but gives the actual sperm for free. How does Kyle say that he keeps his sperm so healthy? With organic food combined with 18 different herbs and supplements — each and every day. “I need to keep myself healthy, so I have the best sperm,” Kyle shares. “I have no idea why a woman would want to use a sperm bank when she could just use me,” he says. “The specimens at a bank could be sitting there for years,” Kyle suggests. “You don’t really know what you’re getting.” So, what's this stuff about him being Jesus-like? “People have called me a modern-day Jesus,” Kyle acknowledges. “And I have to agree with that.” As he explains, he has precisely the qualifications of a Christ-like figure. “I’m very generous and giving,” Kyle says. “And the fact that I’m Jewish while Jesus was also Jewish.” That's … actually a pretty good point. Though 27-year-old Kyle has fathered 18 children and has another 5 on the way, he's not interested in fatherhood. “Kids are a huge responsibility, and I think that is too much for me to handle,” Kyle explains. “So now,” he continues. “I can have kids and help women at the same time.” He says that, more often than not, he just ends up donating fresh sperm which is then used for in vitro fertilization. He does this for single women but also for couples. However, he says that about 25% of the time, recipients opt for a different donation method. Kyle Gordy even has a website where he gives people advice on how to be as fertile as possible. “Some women don’t want to do artificial insemination as they don’t want to waste time,” Kyle says. He continues: “and they feel it will be most effective if we do it the old-fashioned way.” “They will ask if we can just have sex,” Kyle claims. “And I’ll tell them I’m up for it and we exchange STD tests.” “Obviously, I’m a guy,” he notes. “So it is fun to do it that way if we both like each other.” Sure.

Jessica Canseco: I Never Boned Alex Rodriguez!

Alex Rodriguez may have slammed 696 home runs throughout his controversial Major League Baseball career, but Jessica Canseco wants to make one thing clear: He never rounded the bases with her! Not once! Not ever! “Those false accusations Jose [Canseco] is making are not true,” Jessica has now Tweeted, in referenced to what her famous ex-husband himself Tweeted this past weekend. She added: “I have known Alex for many years and haven’t even seen him for over 5. I certainly did not sleep with him. I am friendly with both him and Jennifer. As for Jose he can keep playing with his Alien friends.” There’s a lot to unpack there, huh? But let’s begin here… … Rodriguez and Jennifer Lopez got engaged on Saturday night. The former got down on one knee and proposed to the latter with a multi-million dollar rign while on vacation in the Bahamas. Not long after this exciting news went viral, however, Jose Canseco spoke out and sullied the kind of good name of his fellow former slugger and steroid user. “Watching World of Dance watching J.Lo text Alex Rodriguez little does she know that he is cheating on her with my ex-wife Jessica poor girl she has no idea who he really is,” Canseco wrote, adding that the affair has been on going. “I was there a few months back with her when he called her on her phone.” To be clear, this second part may be true. Jessica freely admits she is friends with Alex and he really may have given her a call while she was in the presence of her ex — and Jose may have interpreted this contact as meaning the two were sleeping together. Wait a minute: Why are we defending Jose Canseco?!? This is the same disgraced ex-athlete who concluded his supposedly revelatory Tweet as follows: “Alex Rodriguez I challenge you to a boxing match or an MMA match anytime you want.” Might he simply have been seeking publicity and some sort of payday via his accusatory Tweet? Rodriguez has also been accused of cheating on Lopez by a fitness model named Lauren Hunter. This is an old accusation that resurfaced this week in wake of the engagement, as quotes Hunter gave to the National Enquirer about the package A-Rod is packing and the raunchy texts he used to send her went public a couple days ago. “He told me he loved me, and he’s loved me for a long time,” Hunter told the Enquirer, alleging her affair with Rodriguez overlapped the first few months of his J-Lo romance back in early 2017. This claim hasn’t impacted the Rodriguez-Lopez love story, however. Just hours after it made the rounds again, Jennifer shared the photos above and below of Rodriguez proposing to her on the beach. The superstars seem awfully smitten with each other. Lopez has “heard the cheating rumors in the past and has never let it bother her,” a source tells Us Weekly, adding: “She trusts [Rodriguez] and his love. They are inseparable and together almost all of the time. Jose Canseco has an ax to grind, but she doesn’t hear the noise.” And it must help when Rodriguez writes very romantic words on his Instagram story. To wit: “There aren’t many words to share with you, only feelings. Gratitude. Excitement. And just … joy,” he said on Tuesday, concluding: “We know there is work to do to keep building a family and future we can be proud of, and we can’t do it without all of you. “We are so thankful for all your messages of love and congratulations.” AWWWWW!

Elly Mayday, Body-Positive Model, Dies Of Ovarian Cancer At Age 30

Model and body positive activist Elly Mayday has died at the young age of 30 , after a long battle with Ovarian cancer.  Her family announced that she passed away on March 1 through her social media accounts.  The model’s birth certificate name was Ashley Luther and she was born in Saskatchewan, Canada.  She adopted her new name, Elly Mayday, as she fought her way through the industry as one of the first curvy models, according to People .  “Ashey was a country girl at heart who had a passion for life that was undeniable,” her family wrote.  “She dreamed of making an impact on people’s lives. She achieved this through the creation of Elly Mayday which allowed her to connect with all of you. Her constant support and love from her followers held a special place in her heart.” At just 25 years old Elly began feeling sick from constant and severe lower back pain, which led to four trips to the emergency room.  Her doctors sent her away with painkillers and told her and the family she needed to lose weight.  “The doctor told me to work my core,” Mayday told People back in 2015.  “We’re undermined being younger, being women. I started to realize no one is going to help me unless I help myself.” She began pushing her doctors and asked for a CT scan, which revealed an ovarian cyst that turned out to be stage 3 ovarian cancer.  The findings were completely shocking, as that type of cancer typically occurs in post-menopausal women. After undergoing several surgeries and months of chemotherapy, the young model’s life was looking up.  Unfortunately, in 2017 her cancer returned and she spent most of the year in the hospital. Advanced-stage ovarian cancer is difficult to treat and 40-50 percent of patients who undergo chemo and enter remission will have a recurrence within three years, according to the University of New Mexico Cancer Center.  Following her diagnosis, the model began proudly posing for photos, baring the surgery scars on her abdomen for magazines and her personal social media pages. She began sharing her triumphant and difficult moments and gained a rather huge following for her honest documentation throughout her battle. Before her tragic death, Mayday wrote on Instagram that she has “always been looking for that opportunity to help people,” which she got to do through sharing her cancer journey.  “My choice to be public and try and share my strength was imminent. Helping is how I justify my time here is well spent.” “I’m lucky I have been able to combine it with the fun career of modeling, cause that’s also very me (hah no surprise),” she continued. “I appreciate everyone who lets me know I’ve made a difference, with my advice, my sharing, my photos and just my general approach to a real tough situation,” she concluded her post.  R.I.P Elly Mayday, you will be missed.  View Slideshow: Celebrities Who Died in 2019: In Memoriam

Kylie Jenner to Travis Scott: You’re Just Like Tristan! You’re a Cheater!

Travis Scott left the great, very cold citizens of Buffalo high and dry on Thursday night… … because the rapper was accued by his long-time girlfriend of being horny and duplicitous. Seriously: With the Kardashians and Jenners already dealing with the fallout of Tristan Thompson once again cheating on Khloe Kardashian (this time with a close friend), Kylie Jenner dropped a bombshell on her boyfriend this week. According to TMZ, the reality star discovered “evidence” that Scott had been cheating on her, leading an explosive argument in her home. YIKES, right?!? Not much else is known about what Kylie allegedly came across, but here’s the timeline of events related to this possible scandal: On Wednesday, Scott flew back from the East Coast, where he was in the middle of a tour, to surprise Kylie and their daughter, Stormi. At some point during this visit, Jenner found the aforementioned proof that Scott had been disloyal; we can only imagine this translates to a text message or an email from some other woman. Kylie confronted Scott with this information and the couple got into a major fight. Because the fight spilled into Thursday, and because Travis was cared about making sure things were okay, he actually canceled a scheduled concert in Buffalo so he could deal with his fractured romance. Sort of admirable, we guess. But those who had tickets to this concert might not feel the same way. In a statement to Entertainment Tonight, Scott’s rep denied the rumor that his client was a no good, rotten, dirty cheater. “Travis Scott vehemently denies he cheated on Kylie. It is not true. He did not cheat,” his rep says. “He cancelled one show tonight because he is under the weather.” Scott stuck to this same story, Tweeting late yesterday: Buffalo I’m so sorry I can’t perform tonight. I’m under the weather and it fucking sucks! Can’t pull up without full rage. Show rescheduled to March 10 all tix are valid. See u soon. Scott and his team can make this claim all they want, but TMZ is a very reliable outlet. It has even been accused of having a cozy arrangement with the Kardashians. So we can’t imagine they would simply invent this cheating accusation out of nowhere. It comes with engagement rumors swirling all around Kylie and Travis; nearly every week, there’s some reason for fans to think they’ve agreed to marry. Just consider some of the photos Kylie has recently shared online . This isn’t random chatter, either. Scott himself has made it clear that he’s interested in becoming Kylie’s husband and in giving their daughter a proper, legal family. “We’ll get married soon,” Scott told Rolling Stone late last year, teasing his proposal and making it sound as if he’s confident in the answer Jenner will provide once it happens: “I just gotta study up – I gotta propose in a fire way.” The rapper and the 21-year old got together in the spring of 2017, with most observers assuming it was just some meaningless fling. But then Kylie actually got pregnant with Scott’s baby and these same outsiders presumed the stars were merely maintaining the illusion of a strong romance for the sake of their careers. It would have looked pretty terrible if they split during the pregnancy or right after Stormi was born, right? But the naysayers have been proven wrong. Scott and Jenner are still a couple and actually do seem very much in love. “It got to a point where I was like, ‘I need her with me to operate. She’s that one,'” Scott admitted to Rolling Stone, concluding of Kylie at that time: “People don’t understand how real my girl is. How ill she is. They have assumptions, bullsh-t ass remarks of what they think is going on. Nah, bro… She’s the coolest motherf-cker of all time.” That’s great. But did you cheat on her, Travis?!?
