The bizarre story of Andre Johnson’s suicide attempt and self-mutilation got a little stranger yesterday as the rapper took to his Facebook page and seemed surprisingly tranquil given his circumstances. Johnson posted a status update that read simply, “Peace – feeling blessed,” leaving followers to wonder if he’s heavily medicated or simply grateful to be alive after jumping from a balcony in an apparent attempt to take his own life. While the Wu-Tang Clan wants nothing to do with Johnson , other rappers have spoken out in his defense – claiming that Johnson has no history of hard drug use, but suffers from profound mental illness. A friend of Johnson’s – another rapper, who goes by the stage name Supreme – spoke with TMZ about the incident and says he saw nothing in Johnson that would indicate he would be capable of damaging himself so severely. Supreme says he never witnessed “any substance abuse” on Johnson’s part aside from casual marijuana and alcohol use. Justin Bieber is off the yacht and into the recording studio. The singer, who hasn’t been arrested in weeks, has posted photos of himself making music with Lil Wayne, writing on Instagram of the following images: “Me and Tunechi in the studio.” Bieber and Lil Wayne previously collaborated on the track “Backpack” and Justin also spent time in the studio recently with Austin Mahone . We’re fully behind this the move by Bieber; to drink and drive less and sing and write more. He’s officially moved from Los Angeles to Atlanta in order to focus on the hip hop industry there and we’re curious to see what he comes up with next. My name is Elodie. I’m 16 years old and I live in a small town in Canada. I can finally say it: I met my idol after 4 years of waiting. I bought my tickets to see Justin in December 2012. I was going to the concert with 3 of my friends: Rachel, Elizabeth and Audrey. Rachel’s dad was driving 3 hours to take us to the concert. I was really looking forward to the concert. I was blessed to see my idol for the 3 rd time in concert. On July 22, 2012, Rachel tweeted me that she had won the Bieber Fever contest. I couldn’t believe it. My best friend’s dream was coming true and I was really happy for her. I was crying and shaking. It was showing that if you really hang onto your dreams, they will come true, eventually. She didn’t know yet who she was going to bring with her. I was 100% sure it wasn’t going to be me. Turns out, I was totally wrong. At 18:47, Rachel called me. We talk a bit about the concert and the fact that she was meeting Justin. We were both freaking out. At some point, I asked her who she was bringing with her. She took a pause before telling me that I was the one meeting Justin with her. I couldn’t believe it. I was crying, screaming and shaking. I was so happy. My dream was coming true after 4 years of waiting. At the same time, I was kind of sad. I knew that two of my friends would be really disappointed because they wouldn’t meet him. The day of the concert flew by really fast. Before I even knew it, I was in line to get my bracelet for the meet and greet. I was shaking in the line. I was really nervous that something would go wrong and we couldn’t get our bracelets. When the woman gave us our bracelet, Rachel and I started crying. We then put our bracelet and went in line to meet Justin. The line started moving and I was freaking out. That was it. The moment I waited for so long. Security checked our bracelet 100 times to be sure that they were real. We were the next one to enter in the room. When we entered the room, Justin was taking a picture with a family. He was wearing a white and black tank top, a black snapback and red sun glasses. Having him standing in front of me, that’s when I realized that it was all real. I wasn’t dreaming. We took place next to Justin. Rachel was standing next to him. She told him she loved him. We then took the picture. He looked and smiled at us and said: “Thank you guys.” We then left the room, getting away from him, in tears. I was both happy and sad. I was getting away from my idol and I knew that it was probably the last time I’d be that close to him. Justin is seriously the most perfect and sweetest person on earth. He was so amazing, I will never forget that day and I’m really grateful I got to live this experience with my amazing friend. I will always be thankful for that day. Thank you Justin. Former School Secretary Fired For Racist Obama Facebook Post If he had just kept his personal feelings to himself, he would still have a job. According to Raw Story: A former school secretary in Harlingen, TX sued the school district for firing him over a racist post on the social medium Facebook. Courthouse News Service reported that Abel Gonzalez believes that his right of free speech was infringed upon by the Harlingen Consolidated Independent School District. Gonzales’ suit, which was filed in the Federal Court in Brownsville on Monday, said, “On Saturday, August 25, 2012 at 9:08 a.m., plaintiff was at home on his own personal computer, when plaintiff received an e-mail from the Huffington Post’s Facebook page.” “The Facebook page had a picture of a little girl chasing President Obama in the Oval Office and beneath the picture were the words, ‘Caption this,’” the complaint continued. “Plaintiff wrote ‘Run N****r Run.’” A commenter on Huffington Post’s page named C. Orlando Pettiford saw Rodriguez’ racist post and copied and pasted it to the Dr. Rodriguez Elementary School Facebook page, the school where Gonzales worked as a secretary. On the same day, school principal Tracy Gonzalez [no relation to the plaintiff] received notice about the racist post. On September 7, 2012, School Superintendent Steve Flores placed Gonzales on administrative leave. Two weeks later, Gonzales was fired. He is suing the school district for $2 million in damages for “conspiracy, civil rights violations and violations of the First Amendment and due process violations, with an emphasis on the First Amendment claims,” said CNS. My name is Hannah, I’m 14 years old and I live in Dubai but I’m from Canada. I met Justin on May 4th, 2013 and it was the best day of my life. I didn’t win the meet and greet tickets, I won them! On April 4th, my best friend Paige was over and we were talking about the concert which was the month after. In Dubai, the concert was standing, no seats, so everybody who got fan-pit tickets got their name put in a draw to meet Justin. We knew that we were never going to win because it was like a 1 out of 35,000 chance. An hour passed and Paige and I were in my kitchen. She got a call from her dad and she pursed into tears. Her dad had told her that she won and that the radio station was going to call her and tell her that she had won, so she hung up the phone and a few seconds later the station called. They told her that she won and over the phone I yelled, “Can she bring a friend?!” Then Brent Black (the radio host) asked to talk to me and told me that I was meeting Justin as well. Here is a recording of us winning the meet and greet tickets. On the day of the concert, Paige and I got there early, about 3 hours early. When it was time, they started collecting tickets from everybody but hadn’t let people in the gates yet. Since Dubai is really hot, I got very claustrophobic, hot and I passed out. The main people who were collecting the tickets let Paige, our friend Hasnaa, Paige’s mum and brother and I through the gates early to get me to the ambulance. Once they checked me breathing they started to let people in through the gates, but before that, they told Paige, Hasnaa and I to run so we could get to the front of the stage. We ran through and Hasnaa was the first one to get there, so Paige and I ran to the building where we were going to meet him. We saw a lady with our names on a list and she crossed us off and she gave us our VIP passes. We went through a hallway where the waiting room was. About an hour before I met him, Justin’s back up dancers came into the room and said hi to all of us. Later, Paige and I ran to the front of the line and we were about the fifth and sixth people to meet Justin. They piled around 3-4 people in the room at a time. They finally signaled Paige and I to enter the room and I heard her whisper in my ear, “Hannah can I please go before you?” I told her that she could and before I knew it I was walking up to my whole world. He walked up towards me with a huge smile on his face and he looked at my with his gorgeous chocolate brown eyes. I said hey to him and he looked at me and said, “Hey babe.” He held out his arm for me to go under and he put his arm around my waist. I did the same to him. After the picture was taken I walked away and Paige was waiting for me outside and we both started crying. She hugged me and she said, “I know, Hannah, I know.” We both calmed down a little bit and as we were walking out of the building we were handed a Believe record and I just stared at it in shock. I still can’t believe that I met my idol. I called my sister and I told her that I had just met him, and she asked me how it was, and I told her that he’s so beautiful! You see him in the pictures and he’s a God but in person, you realize that he’s real, he’s not made up, he’s not a robot, he’s this beautiful human being. My name is Jackie and I met Justin at the Barclays Center meet & greet on August 2nd, 2013. My mom bought me the meet and greet tickets during pre-sale as a surprise for my 16th birthday. She bought them in November and I hadn’t found out about them until March. I waited 6 months to meet my world. When the day finally came, I had work and had to take off early. On the way to the arena, I was having trouble breathing and thinking straight, I was so nervous. When I got to the arena, I was there an hour earlier then they told us to be so I ended up being the first person on line. They let us in and gave us the wristbands and raffle tickets. After everyone had been checked in, they led up down to the basement of Barclays for the pre-show party. By that point, I was shaking and I wasn’t able to eat anything because of the nerves. During the pre-show, they did a raffle and gave away some of Justin’s things like his t-shirt or sweat towel and I ended up winning his drum stick! Then when Justin was finally ready and behind the curtain, everyone ran to get in line. I was somewhere near the middle. When it was my turn to step in the curtain, I saw him standing there laughing and interacting with the fans and I couldn’t believe he was real. He’s even more perfect in person than in pictures, and seeing his smile made everything else fade away. When it was my turn to take my picture, I ran up to him and gave him a hug and he hugged me back. I had a whole speech planned to say to him but I was so shocked that the only thing that came out was, “I love you.” After I said that, he grabbed my arm, bent down a little so we were at eye level, pointed at me and said, “No I love you!” and giggled. When I pulled back from our hug I didn’t want to let go, which is why my hand is on his stomach in our picture. I left the curtain hysterically crying, I was barely able to control myself.
