The best looking, least irritating member of the Kardashian family turns 33 years old today. That’s right, Kourtney Kardashian is celebrating a birthday, which may come as a surprise to many because – unlike her sisters – we haven’t been hearing a great deal about Kourtney. No Las Vegas party appears to be planned, no talk show appearances are in the works, she isn’t talking incessantly about procreating. She’s simply doing it . Indeed, aside from her questionable taste in men ( Scott Disick ? Really?!?), Kourtney seems downright normal, reserved and attention-shy, at least when compared to other members of her family. She even has a really cute son. So we’re happy to send our birthday wishes to this reality star and we encourage readers to do the same. And, in THG fashion, we’ll honor the birthday gal with a photo montage. Click, enlarge and enjoy…

It’s all fun and games until someone pulls a piece on a paparazzo. As we previously reported, Pippa Middleton is at the center of a gun scandal after she and her friends went for a spin in a convertible last weekend. After partying at a raucous bash in Paris until 5 a.m., Pips was spotted leaving in a car with friends, when the driver took out what appeared to be a semi-automatic pistol and aimed it at a celebrity news photographer. But was the gun even real? Sitting in the passenger seat, Pippa Middleton laughed. Nobody’s laughing now. Especially not her in-laws. “This is embarrassing for them,” a royal source says. The surprising scandal “has put [ Kate Middleton ] in a very difficult position,” the source adds. However, it appears that the excitement, which included reports that Pippa Middleton could face criminal charges, may have been overblown. ABC News reports that the photographer claims he knew all along that the gun was a fake and has been telling people he never felt scared by it. Even friends of one of the young fashionistas in the car with Pippa told ABC News that they have the toy gun in their possession currently. The Sun reported that the Paris Police are “poised” to launch a probe, but there is no investigation …. because no one has filed a complaint. Pippa Middleton Gun Photo The mystery man pointing the gun in question, meanwhile, has finally been identified: He’s Romain Rabillard, a 36-year-old French attorney. The single Rabillard parties with a crowd of chic Parisians, including wealthy clothing designer Viscount Arthur de Soultrait, Middleton’s pal. It was his 30th birthday bash she attended Friday. If the gun was in fact fake, the accused could still face legal action, but far less severe.
Pippa Middleton could face criminal charges after a male companion was reportedly caught brandishing a gun and allegedly pointing it at a photographer. The younger sister of Kate Middleton was in the passenger seat of an Audi convertible with three male friends Sunday in Paris when all hell broke loose. The driver allegedly reached for a semi-automatic gun and jokingly aimed it at a celebrity gossip photographer following them, London’s The Sun reports. The image, released to the Sun by the French photographer at whom the pistol was aimed, shows Middleton looking back at the paparazzo and grinning. The paper reported that the Paris Judicial Police department is “poised” to launch a probe into the incident. Charges could result in prison sentences. Even if the gun turns out to be a fake, criminal charges are possible . “If the evidence points to her involvement, she will be prosecuted. Anybody involved in the illegal use of a handgun in public is liable to arrest,” a source said. The French photographer is still weighing whether to file a formal police complaint, the Sun’s royal editor, Duncan Larcombe, confirmed this morning. Middleton was reportedly in Paris to attend a costume birthday party at the Chez Raspoutine as a guest of fashion label owner Arthur de Soultrait Pari. “Pippa is a party girl. She mixes now in very high society and they don’t come very higher than this group of French aristocratic sons,” the source said. The gaffe is a rare misstep for Middleton, who was dubbed “Her Royal Hotness” and became a celebrity gossip magnet after last April’s royal wedding. It was revealed that lawyers for Middleton sent a cease-and-desist letter around to six media agencies that distribute paparazzi photographs worldwide. The letter warned agencies that unless photographers stop following her, Pippa will pursue legal action, which could include an injunction and legal costs. Just prior to the letter being sent, the picture editor for U.K.’s Daily Mail newspaper that 400 Pippa Middleton photos cross his desk every single day. Some, in this case, that she would really prefer did not. [Photo: FameFlynet]
Duchess Catherine’s sister Pippa Middleton has given exactly no interviews since the Royal Wedding in April. Are Barbara Walters and Oprah angling to change that? British tabloids are reporting that Walters and Oprah are engaged in a bidding war to book the 28-year-old party planner for a TV special – potentially for big bucks. Walters, 82, denied on The View Monday. “It’s not true,” the journalist said. “ABC News does not pay for interviews. I have no idea what Oprah does, but ABC does not pay. She’s not a news program, so maybe they have a different policy.” That doesn’t mean Walters wouldn’t be up for interviewing Pippa Middleton, who was one of her most fascinating people of 2011 , as unveiled in late December. “To make it clear: Would I like to do the interview? Yes, I would like to I think she’s a charming, beautiful girl,” Walters said . “Will we pay to do the interview? No.” They could make a major donation to a charity of Kate Middleton’s choice in exchange for an interview, though. That’s not technically paying. Loopholes, people. [Photos: WENN.com]
A key bill currently before the U.S. Congress, the Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA), and its companion bill in the Senate, the Protect IP Act (PIPA), need to be torpedoed ASAP. At THG, we normally refrain from such overt political messages, but the fact is these bills would censor content and impose harmful regulations on millions of people. Legions of Internet users and entrepreneurs oppose SOPA and PIPA, and for good reason. They would enable the government to – indiscriminately – regulate the web. If these bills pass, which is a real threat, the web will be transformed dramatically. Not only are the livelihoods of sites like THG at risk, but behemoths like Google. Google! Check out their SOPA “blackout” logo today in defiance of the legislation: In a nutshell, the bill would enable easy, and unnecessary blocking of entire sites. Small ones won’t have sufficient resources to defend themselves against corporate giants. Big media companies may seek to cut off funding for competitors, even if copyright isn’t infringed. Millions will be suppressed, strong-armed and blacklisted – LEGALLY. Combating piracy of intellectual property is a worthwhile goal, but there are fair, effective means of achieving it without broad government overreach into our lives. SOPA and PIPA are not it. In fact, they will do just the opposite, quashing the innovation of small businesses everywhere while rewarding a select few arbitrarily. The only PIPA we like is Pippa Middleton . The only SOPA we care about is … we have no joke for that one. It hits so close to home, we can’t even think straight. Follow this link to make a call to your U.S. representative . NOTE : The answer to the question posed on the image below is not her dress. For whatever reason, according to Life & Style, men just sprint away from Pippa Middleton, and the younger sister of Duchess Catherine wonders why! After attending her seventh wedding of the year this month, the 28-year-old is starting to wonder if she’ll ever be the one standing at the altar, sources say. “She’s scared she’ll never find someone who’ll accept her life,” a friend says . “[Pippa Middleton] is happy for Kate and for her university friends who are getting hitched, but she’s starting to wonder if she’ll ever find her Prince Charming.” In November, after growing increasingly uncomfortable with her fame, longtime boyfriend Alex Loudon called it quits with Pippa for the second time this year. Ever since the split, according to the friend, Pippa has been deeply worried that she has become undateble, now that she’s the sister-in-law of Kate Middleton . “The men Pippa knows are all majorly turned off by the circus surrounding her,” an insider reveals, with some publications dubbing it the “Pippa Problem.” Call us crazy, but we imagine there are plenty of guys who would love to have a Pippa problem on their hands. The issue is that she’s quasi-famous? Deal.
Duchess Kate Middleton certainly looked festive on Christmas in her plum-colored coat and coordinating hat as she joined Prince William, Prince Harry, Prince Charles, Duchess Camilla and Queen Elizabeth II for church services in Sandringham, Norfolk, UK. Here’s a nice shot of the royal family members … Queen Elizabeth, 85, took a car, while the rest of the family walked. Her husband Prince Philip, 90, underwent emergency surgery Friday for a blocked coronary artery. Saturday, members of the royal family visited Philip in the hospital. Buckingham Palace officials issued an update, saying he had “a good night” following his procedure. The royal family spent Christmas day at the Queen’s Sandringham estate. Today, Pippa Middleton will join her sister and the royal family for a pheasant shoot. Kate, William and Pippa will then travel to the Middleton family’s home in Bucklebury. The big question: Will Kate Middleton pregnancy rumors or gossip about Pippa and Prince Harry hooking up become the UK tabloid story of the week? Stay tuned!
Lucky. That’s all we can say about a report from NBC’s Today Show , which discussed what Prince William is going to get Kate Middleton for Christmas, [and] said “the general consensus at this point is that the Duchess of Cambridge is getting a puppy.” Gives new meaning to ruffing it with the in-laws, are we right?! In August, Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla adopted a Jack Russell Terrier named Beth from Battersea Dogs Home in London. Queen Elizabeth II is also an animal lover. Kate Middleton , 29, will spend her first Christmas as a royal with William, also 29, and his entire family at Sandringham manor, the queen’s retreat in Norfolk, England. The royal newlyweds will be joined by Prince Harry and Pippa Middleton , of course, and a little later in the week, they’ll spend time with the Middleton family at their residence. And their newfound four-legged friend, of course. Aww. [Photo: WENN.com]
