13th November 2011= THE best day of my friggan life! Basically I’ve been trying to meet Justin for 2 and a half years. The chance came and I entered a competition to win tickets for his ITV special, but with my TERRIBLE, NON-EXISTANT luck, that didn’t happen. That day I had a huge dilemma because we knew what hotel he was SUPPOSEDLY at then we for sure where knew he would be at the ITV Studios & Fountain Studios. We were on the train and my friend picked out of my hands on which option to choose and we chose the hotel. We got there and it was freezing. There was NOONE else there so I was like oh this is probably the wrong place, but we kinda hung around. We went Starbucks for an hour, Pizza Hut for an hour, in the hotel for an hour etc, and the hotel was fine with us at first and then all of a sudden they came to kick us out (which was the best sign of the whole day because they only kick you out if someone important is going there) . We went outside and there was a few more people, around 15 people and we were just chatting to them. One of the girls somehow knew the manager and the main hotel security guard who came to speak to us and said, “Yeah Justin will definitely be coming back, he’s booked in for another 2 days and this morning he was late for his appointment, but instead of getting straight into his car, he walked out the hotel, went through EVERY single fan outside, took pictures and THEN got into his car to go off. He’s one of the ‘nice ones’ cause most celebs we have here just get straight in the car and go, but he didn’t”. He then said, “We’re expecting him in about 15-20 mins”. This was weird because the ITV special wasn’t supposed to finish recording in about an HOUR later, not 20 mins, so we were like hmmm, but waited. Then as he said, 20 minutes later, Justin’s car came in!! Justin got out, casually strolled over to us and said, “Hey how you doing? Before I get in trouble and get one of you run over, can you just stand away from the road to the side, just in a line please. I don’t wanna get in trouble or get any of you hurt thanks, everyone will get a go!” He then started taking pictures and signing autographs for EVERYONE! This one girl’s picture was blurry and he was like “Oh one second I’ll do that again, that’s blurry”, which to be honest should be the LEAST of his worries! I gave him my camera, he was holding it for AGES, and was like, “Oh it’s on record I’ll take you again in a sec”. At that moment I like nearly FAINTED! I got a normal picture after. The whole time, he was like, “Has EVERYONE got a picture?, is everyone SURE they’ve got everything? A pic and a signature? Who hasn’t got a picture?” and he even did some extra, funny pictures with people. At the end, Kenny was like, “Justin you have to go!” and Justin was like “One second, gimme 2 cameras”. He grabbed a random girls phone and another girl’s camera and was like, “Right, everyone in for a group photo”. Kenny took them and Justin was like, “Another one please, I didn’t like myself in that! And the rest of you guys can like get that picture from eachothers Facebook? Okay I have to go, bye thank you!!” During the group photo, he DREW on my face! Yep, Justin DREW Bieber, DREW on my face!! I was like DEAD! I knew he’s really nice, but some things were TOO nice! After that, I was like kinda crying hysterically for about 4 hours, on a bus, 2 tubes and a train. Everyone was looking at my friend thinking she’d hurt me or something. It was unforgettable , after over 2 and a half years trying to meet him and always failing every attempt, I finally did. NEVER SAY NEVER, you will get a chance, whoever you are, wherever you are. Dream big! – @poli_jdb_96 View original post here: 13th November 2011= THE best day of my friggan life! Basically…
‘X Factor’ castoff Astro and ‘Dance Moms’ personality Abby Lee Miller also make MTV News’ list, counting down all week long. By MTV News staff Jimmy Fallon Photo: NBC MTV News’ Top 50 TV Characters of 2011 continues with a few must-include entries, as well as some visits from surprise guests. “X-Factor” contestant Astro makes the cut this round as does “Dance Moms” favorite Abby Lee Miller, but you might be surprised to see certain sports and talk-show personalities who yapped their way onto our Best of 2011 list. Keep reading for the latest entries to our Top 50, and make sure to check out characters 50 to 41 over here . 40. Skip Bayless (ESPN’s “First Take”) One of the nation’s most respected sportswriters, Bayless got his start at the Miami Herald, eventually rising to prominence at the Los Angeles Times and followed by his coverage of the Cowboys for the Dallas Morning News and Dallas Times Herald. Since many of you don’t have an app for those papers, you might know Bayless as the perpetual devil’s advocate on ESPN’s “First Take.” He started as a pundit on ESPN’s “Cold Pizza” in a segment called “First Take,” but thanks to his arguments with other journalists, athletes and even Lil Wayne , “Cold Pizza” evolved into “First Take.” His divisive arguments — most recently his idolatry of Tim Tebow — have garnered the ire of plenty of sports fans, and Skip couldn’t be any happier, especially since he’s right more often than they’d care to admit. -Steven Roberts 39. Victoria Grayson (“Revenge”) Imagine Blair Waldorf 30 years older and transplanted to the Hamptons, and you’ve got the central villainess of ABC’s newest guilty pleasure “Revenge.” The Queen Bee of the tony enclave, Victoria rules with an iron (not to mention, diamond-laced) fist, scheming against anyone who dares get in her way (lovers and best friends included). But Victoria’s no sociopath — fleeting flashes of guilt and sorrow betray more than a few vulnerable spots. While revenge-seeking Emily is the protagonist here, it’s Madeleine Stowe’s Victoria that steals scenes in this sudsy drama. -Amy Wilkinson 38. Marty Funkhouser (“Curb Your Enthusiasm”) Funk-man had a short-yet-rewarding arc this season. He commenced his time on “Curb” with a divorce (though they “had a beautiful marriage”), delivered one of the funniest lines of the season (when he asked Richard Lewis when he plans to look at his new girlfriend’s face) and starred in what noted lawyer and academic Alan Dershowitz believes was an episode of television powerful enough to expedite peace in the Middle East — though Larry owed him such shine after leaving his dinner before dessert. -Rya Backer 37. Jimmy Fallon (“Late Night With Jimmy Fallon”) Outside of his portrayal of Barry “F—ing” Gibb on “The Barry Gibb Show,” Jimmy Fallon didn’t have the most memorable “Saturday Night Live” career. And then there was “Taxi” with Queen Latifah. So expectations weren’t necessarily high when Fallon took over “Late Night” after Conan’s all-too-brief promotion to “The Tonight Show.” But that didn’t stop Jimmy from making his show the most-talked-about the next morning either. His first move once he got the job was to hire the coolest band possible in the Legendary Roots Crew, who, along with the show’s genius music bookers, have brought us amazing performances from Beyonc
In the wake of both sexual harassment and infidelity allegations, Republication Presidential nominee Herman Cain suspended his campaign this afternoon, effectively ending his bid for the White House in 2012. Herman Cain Ends White House Bid “As of today, with a lot of prayer and soul searching, I am suspending my presidential campaign,” Cain said at an Atlanta rally, vowing that “I am not going to be silenced and I am not going away.” Cain cited the “continued distraction” of chatter over Ginger White’s claim that she carried on a 13-year affair – during which Cain supposedly showered her with gifts and financial help – with the former CEO of Godfather’s Pizza as the basis for his decision. “These false and untrue allegations continue to be spinned in the media, and in the court of public opinion so as to create a cloud of doubt over me and this campaign and my family,” Cain said. “That spin hurts. It hurts my wife. It hurts my family. It hurts me. And it hurts the American people, because you are being denied solutions to our problems.” Even before White rose to national prominence, Cain was under pressure after several other women accused him of sexual harassment and inappropriate conduct in the 1990s when he was the head of the National Restaurant Association. “One of declarations I want to make to you today is that I am at peace with my God. I am at peace with my wife, and she is at peace with me. And I am at peace with my family and at peace with myself,” Cain said.
Here’s the always sexy Blake Lively doing her thing on the set of her silly girly show Gossip Girl . I’ve never seen the show, but I’ve posted so many pictures of Blake on the set that I pretty much get the gist of it. A bunch of sexy rich Manhattan chicks and their gay friends. Close enough. I just like seeing my favorite hottie at work, I’m so proud of her. I don’t know what that bruise on her neck is all about, but that douche from Two Guys, A Girl And A Pizza Place better not have laid his hands on my future ex wife.
I’m Poppy and I’m 14 years old. My dream came true on May 3rd 2011 at the My World Tour concert in Melbourne . The night before the concert, I could hardly sleep. The fact that I was going to see my biggest inspiration and hero live was absolutely amazing! I didn’t really have very good seats, but I was still stoked that I was just there supporting Justin, even if I couldn’t see him as well as some people could. On that day, I couldn’t keep still. I couldn’t possibly go to school because I wouldn’t have been able to shut up about how incredible the concert would be. The whole day I kept reminding my Mum that I had only 3 hours, or 5 hours until I was going to see Justin. I live a couple of hours away from the venue where the concert was so when my Dad and I was driving down there, I got a phone call from my friends’ Dad, named Eddie. I was going with his son named Lewis, and immediately I thought they were going to say they couldn’t come to the concert. Then he said, ‘Do you want to meet Justin Bieber?’ I remember those exact words and I think I died then came back alive again because I was so speechless. ’Oh my gosh’ I cried, ‘Are you kidding me?’ But he wasn’t joking, he was full on serious. ’Justin’s waiting for you backstage’ he said. Justin is waiting for me backstage? Justin Drew Bieber is waiting for ME? ME, Poppy? We met up with Lewis and Eddie at the venue and this guy gave us wristbands which indicated that we were allowed backstage. And mind you, I also still have those wristbands, haha. This man took us backstage to this door, where Kenny was standing. Kenny was so, so, so tall. I looked like a little ant compared to him, but he is so nice, like a friendly giant. Kenny took us into this room backstage, Carin was there with a photographer. She smiled at me, but Justin was no where to be seen. The all of a sudden.. .BOO! Justin had jumped out behind a curtain and scared the living daylights out of me. He smiled at me and said hello. He asked me what I was up to, and how I was. He wished that he hoped we liked the concert. Although I hadn’t seen the concert yet, I knew it was going to be amazing anyway. Justin hugged us, and we took a picture. I was crying. Once we got out from backstage and where all the other beliebers were, these cameras and microphones surrounded us. It was a television station and they were wondering why we were backstage with Justin and what we were doing. I should’ve said, ‘Oh, I’m secretly Justin’s girlfriend’, but I thought I’d better keep it real. All these beliebers surrounded us when we were walking, asking us questions, asking us for hugs because we had met Justin. It was such a surreal moment and I felt like a celebrity. The concert was amazing, I loved every second of it. But the Bieber experience hadn’t ended after the concert…When I got home to my town, it was CRAZY! Everyone knew about it and everyone knew me! All my teachers were amazed, all my friends were amazed and random people in the streets were amazed! I had people coming up to me and touching my arm because I’d touched Justin Bieber. I had phone calls asking me about Justin. I even had an interview with some newspapers with the headline ‘Biebers Girl’. It was absolutely crazy, and even now I get asked about it at least once a day. After I could think straight for a while, I was asking myself, ‘How on earth did Eddie organize me to meet Justin?’ It turned out that him and my dad knows people who know Justin, we had connections with Justin Bieber! I still think to myself that this must be a dream because I honestly never thought I’d meet Justin. Now I know never say never works, and anything can happen if you just believe ♥ -Poppy @BeMineKidrauhl Visit link: I’m Poppy and I’m 14 years old. My dream came true…
My Bieber Experience took place in Summer 2011. I went to Canada for a student exchange and I lived 7 hours away from Stratford. I wanted to go there so bad, but at first it seemed like there wouldn’t be a possibility to go. Anyways, it changed and a week before I went there I got told that I would. A friend from Germany also told me about a Bieber Map, which shows you some places where Justin used to spend his free time and I looked for it and found it. When it was the day I went to Stratford I was so excited that I couldn’t really sleep the night before. The ride to Stratford seemed like forever. When there were there, I saw the Stratford sign, which you can see in the movie. We stopped and I took the first picture. Then I went downtown and looked at everything where you can see in the movie, our just from some old YouTube videos or pictures. I was so proud to be there and to get the chance to see all that. We ate in the Pizza Pizza and sat there where Justin sat in ‘Never Say Never’. I went at the Avon Theatre steps and at his school, soccer field and more. I also went down to the river where Justin runs over and screamed, “Aye Ryan, aye”. When I walked down there I noticed some boys with BMX and I’m not sure about it but I think one of them was Chaz. I know I didn’t meet Justin and I didn’t get a DM or anything else but for me, it was an awesome experience and I thought I would never get the chance to go to Stratford and see how he grew up, but I did! All of you should believe in their dreams and follow them, because it’s worth it! Every time you get a little bit closer to your dream you should be happy and thankful for the chance to get closer to it! Follow your dreams and stay positive! Never Say Never! A still from Herman Cain’s cinematic masterpiece. (Photo: Youtube) Herman Cain spent the last month dealing with sex scandals and an embarrassing interview performance , but the former Godfather’s Pizza CEO is ready to get back to discussing his favored topic–the “9-9-9” tax plan. Yesterday, the Cain campaign released “9-9-9 The Movie,” a six minute video touting the plan’s purported power to slay… Broadcasting platform : YouTube Source : Capitol confidential Discovery Date : 27/11/2011 20:04 Number of articles : 2
I haven’t seen my internet girlfriend Blake Lively in a while, mostly because she’s been cheating on my with that dude from ‘Two Guys, A Girl And A Pizza Place’ , but I’ll be the bigger person and forgive her. Which is pretty easy to do if she’s going to be walking around with massive cleavage like she’s doing here. What the hell? Where did those things come from? Actually, I don’t even want to know, I just want to sit back and enjoy the show. Nice.
Herman Cain is running his mouth again and this time it’s regarding the foreign policy: Former businessman turned presidential frontrunner Herman Cain continued his attempts to calm voters concerns over his lack of foreign policy experience during a campaign stop here Wednesday night. “Relative to foreign policy, I don’t need to know the details of every one of the issues we face. “We’ve got plenty of experts who can fill in the details,” Cain said at dinner held by the Nueces County Republican Women. The former Godfather’s Pizza CEO told the 900 supporters in attendance that the key to dealing with issues abroad is to develop a clear foreign-policy philosophy, a line he often has repeated on the trail. That philosophy: clarify who the United States’- friends and enemies are – something Cain says President Obama has failed to do. During his two-day swing through the Lone Star State, Cain began both campaign speeches critiquing the president’s decision to withdraw all troops from Iraq by the end of the year. “When he withdraws all of the troops out of Iraq, it’s going to leave a huge power vacuum for Iran to go in and disrupt everything and undue everything that we’ve been trying to help them do on the last several years,” Cain said while speaking at the Clear Lake Tea Party in La Marque, TX on Tuesday. Broadening Cain’s policy platform comes at a time when the candidate is fighting speculation that he is the latest flash in the pan in the Republican field. A national CBS/New York Times poll released Tuesday shows Cain atop the field of Republican presidential hopefuls, garnering 25% of support, with the second closest Mitt Romney at 21%. Source
